@IceCraftGaming @guyfolk @winswings Win per your request, I armed your plane with ICG Interceptors, Inside of Guyfolks missile pods. I also loaded 2 of my low yield Nuclear cleavers. ;) Z
@EasternPatrick thank you my friend ! If you have time to fly it, I would be curious on your thoughts. Don't forget to hit activate 2 and shoot some planes down. Quick short bursts seem to work well. There is a very cool HUD system that aims. I would say it's comparable to @guyfolk HUD but you never know this mighty actually even be one of his HUDs.. lol lol. Z
@winswings @guyfolk @CarrotSlicingCompanyCat Hey guys this plane flight characteristics are amazing ! ! ! I had this aircraft going 50mph on a banking landing and it still wouldn't stall ! You have to fly this. I saved it in my downloads.
@winswings @brazuca @Th3rmoplylae Wow this plane is tough, I went in for a landing, cartwheeled down the runway, flipped about six times and the only thing I broke was a propeller. Hilarious !
It really will fly ! But. You must start in the air, Use pilot camera view, gently bring up throttle. She's no dog fighter, I just wanted her to fly with NO gyroscope. Z @CarrotSlicingCompanyCat @DARZAVIATIONOFICIAL @EasternPatrick
@BeastHunter @Rjenteissussy Version 4 with fixed HUD and rudders are fixed so aircraft doesn't slide from side to side while flying. My bad on that, rookie mistake. Z
@Stanmich @INDOMIEGORENG28 @EasternPatrick New version with fixed HUD and rudders are correct so the plane doesn't slide around in the air. (Rookie mistake on my part}
@winswings @CarrotSlicingCompanyCat @BRAZUCA I don't know how Win's helicopters look so perfect with these parts. My cobra, I have so many different parts overlapping each other and it's just a hodgepodge (mess) just to get it to look like a helicopter. I actually had a couple photographs off Google that I was referencing. I guess my point is Win's entire fuselage looks like one piece. Problem is he's a 10-hour drive away from me if I want to see how he does it in person. Lol lol
@ILoveAirplanes You made the list. Congratulations ! Tell your friends ! LOL Please visit my homepage and look at the last name on the list. Lol but in all seriousness, it's very nice to meet you my name is Zaine. Some really great friends of mine you should meet are @winswings @IceCraftGaming @guyfolk
@winswings @BRAZUCA Hey Win,look at Brazuca's rear landing gear, watch how they fold up. He used 2 sets of "rear landing gear" and stuck them together on each side ! . It's freaking genius.
@guyfolk @icecraftgaming Hey guys, I was hoping you guys could make some time between now and the end of this weekend to try out this plane. I gave both of you credit in my first comment that I directed people to go to in the description of the aircraft. Guyfolk, your pods are the coolest thing, is it possible to program them to open just for air to air ? And or just for air to ground ? If so how ? IceCraftGaming, your interceptors are the coolest missiles in the game. I use them in all of my builds now and refer to them as "IceCraftGaming Interceptors"
@WinsWings Twin Otters !!! That's it ! That's the plane I was thinking of. I saw a program on cable about the Twin Otter. I like this other program as well called "Air Warriors" and they showcase a different plane each episode. "Migs" is one of my favorites.
This is nice. It reminds me of the planes used in Canada to transport goods and medical supplies to remote places that are really cold. And they need a super sturdy reliable aircraft to do this job.
@GuyFolk I can definitely understand that. The only thing I know how to do is to remove the symbol in the center of your radar screen. ONLY, because I can go through the programming language and even though I don't know exactly what it means or how the formulas work, I was able to identify the same text, remove the text and see that it worked. I did do something to the radar today that you must be made aware of because I just think it's cool. Going to the programming and whatever symbol you have representing your plane in the center, exchange it for this symbol. * I believe on a standard keyboard shift 8, the symbol for multiply. When you see what it puts in the center of YOUR radar you're going to have a chuckle. As far as who I am I've been flying flight simulators since the first computer. So, flying and dog fighting I can do like second nature, but building cockpits the way you do, Wow ! That is something I would like to learn. Ie how to hook a label to a rotor and create those images on the instrument panel for them to interact with. Ie, in your felon 1.11 the 2 moving indicators that show the level of thrust. That is really good stuff. I wish I knew how to do that. Z
@WinsWings I worked on your 3500 mph plane last night. The wings outside of the cockpit, you could see them shaking. I replaced all of the wings with flexless wings. I used multiple piece wings and tried to match your design. I added afterburners which should only be engaged higher than 20,000 ft. Hit 4500 mph at high altitude. But I can't stop either design from shaking at high speed at low altitude. As far as the cornering and turning it turns much better than the original design. It's sort of goes where you want it to, you'd have to fly to know what I mean. I can post it for you so you can keep going on it if you like. Let me know. If I do post it I will post it as "WinsWings W-X224"
@SkyJayTheFirst look at my post called the universal cockpit. In the cockpit look down to the left below the words "no Target"see the little box with the "greater than" sign the "triangle and the "less than" sign in the middle ? This is the box I'm speaking of and this is a box I modified by going into it's raw programming
@SkyJayTheFirst yes it should be small enough, the reason why it says there's 244 parts is because of all the extra bologna I used to showcase the radar. The radar itself might only have about 10 parts maybe less. Aside from the radar that everybody seems to use, yes it's all my original build....
@MrShenanigansSP The round blue part is actually a beacon light. I colored it blue and it stays on all the time. The needle that swings around is also a beacon light but it's been modified dramatically by using scale. Then the modified beacon light is hooked up to a rotor that spins. Next there's a window that has the standard radar 5 miles,10 Miles, 20 miles. Then above that window there are three additional windows, (labels) each one of those three have different information. So I guess what I'm telling you is you can move and change these things as you see fit. For instance you could have the circling line flash or even have it red, but that would defeat the purpose of the enemies being highlighted in the color red. Peace, I'm looking forward to your tomcat. Z
@WinsWings, I tell you what. I am going to build a post with all of my instrument panel goodies, radar, everything I can think of to be useful and post it that way you can put it in your sub assemblies and use it on your upcoming aircraft. Things like status of landing gear, (up , down, moving) time remaining with fuel, distance of enemy, trim status, etc.. it's going to take me awhile probably won't post tonight, but I will get it done. Sound Like a plan ?
@WinsWings I'm using the fine tuner and overload mods and changing some numbers. First,I used scale to make the clever smaller but did NOT put a check mark on "engine" just all the others including "Mass" , Next, I pressed the mod button ( it has these symbols on it < / > and a little airplane underneath. Once I press that, I'm on page one. At the top there is a drop down box that currently says "part" in that section you will see an option that says "disable aircraft collisions" change that to "true". (That enables you to overlap missiles, hide rockets in your fuselage all without blowing yourself up) Next use the drop-down at the top to go to page 2 (Missile) here is the place where you can set speed, explosion scale, lock time (this is huge ie instant lock), firing delay, Max Target angle. (Any Target angle above 90 is just going to annoy you and beep too much). These modification screens are great I'm in them all the time. I'd like to shrink my interceptor missiles, shorten the delay time, and increase their speed. Does this help ?
@DARZAVIATIONOFICIAL I posted a new 244 part Yeet Detector for you. All I did was remove all the lights out of the engines. You should be able to download it now and have some fun with it. Let me know if you like it please.
@WinsWings the main engines run through four colors as they are turned up to full. The afterburners, I put in three or four VTOL nozzles inside of each engine, one color is blue another is black another is red and I think there might be an orange. The instrument panel, I put together in pieces. If you want you can disassemble the instrument panel and put the components into your sub assemblies piece by piece. Just select what you want. For instance speed display, first, hover over it then manually remove the connection to the instrument panel then drag it into your sub assemblies. (Assuming you don't know how to do that) I have more stuff in my sub assemblies then I have planes stored. If there's anything in particular you want, just let me know and I'll get it to you. Z
@WinsWings please try my new Z-29 Super Yeet Detector. I worked really hard on it. Aside from the moving wings it's not really the same plane anymore. It now has 2 thrust vectoring engines, all new radar system with enemy tracking and distances. Improved avionics package. Nuclear cleavers, air brakes, dual carrier cable landing hooks. The list just goes on and on. Tell me what you think
@Striderxxl Thank you so much for posting these. I didn't know where the radar I use came from so thank you. Mostly I wanted to say I appreciate how these three huds are floating in air so I can drag them cleanly into my sub assemblies. I use an Android tablet and every time I try to put a HUD into my sub assemblies even if the person is posting it for everybody to use it winds up going into pieces and I can't use it. I posted your radar with a sweeping line the other day and it got a lot of positive reviews, check it out. Also I have some pretty good builds for somebody who's only been at this for 2 months. (VR, thrust vectoring, the Yeet Detector (with the Yeet Cannon, self guiding rounds) Next gen air to air missiles,Nuclear Cleavers...etc
@Quebecor the@Quebecor , first I totally respect your work and I wouldn't spend time on your planes unless I thought they were great. With that being said, it turns better now, I used flexless wingtips for the main wings, and replaced the rear horizontal stabilizers completely with flexless wings. The wheels don't squeak or wobble anymore, and I put a VR airliner cockpit in it with animated radar screens. I worked on it for about 6 hours. Seriously nice plane.
@EasternPatrick First, incredible rocket ! So, to start off I added one VTOL engine and beefed it up a bit. That got the rocket off the ground. Then, I put a gyro on stage one and it worked fine, then when stage one was gone, it went crazy. So I put a gyro in every single stage. 150 speed, 150 stability, 100% yaw power. Also there was a lot, over 10 VTOL nozzles with no connections. I connected as many as I could then I just got tired of looking and couldn't find any more, but stuff still kept falling out. But I figured as long as I thing flies, who cares what it drops. When four was pressed, the section below the satellite accidentally kept sticking to it. So I put another VTOL engine in the satellite, beefed it up, and had it activate when 4 was pressed. So the last two pieces really had some power and it was easier for them to separate. I have a version saved on my tablet where there's a second parachute activated under 7. So after the capsule floats down under 6 (parachute), I will "Cut away" then activate the reserve chute 7. Big fun! Love this rocket.
Unlike most of the huds that can just be sort of floating, this one cannot. It's because there is a piston that's been modified to sweep a great distance. It is connected to a label. The label is nothing more than a line. So this piston creates the effect of this green line sweeping left to right and back. I laid this over the top of an actual working radar that tracks enemies, distances, and location in relation to you. The working radar itself has one connection to a fuselage (behind it) the left hand side of the radar contains the sweeping line (the Label). It is ONLY connected to the piston, this is critical. Finally the Piston itself it is connected to two things only the Label (the sweeping line) and the fuselage behind it. As long as you understand these connections you should be good to go. What I did is I disconnected the parts from the fuselage by going into connections and manually disconnecting the main radar and the piston from the fuselage which is behind them. Next, I used positioning x,y,z to move that piece of fuselage away from the 3 components of the radar. Once that was accomplished. I used x,y,z to position the three components of the radar onto the dashboard of my aircraft. Once this was done, I connected the piston to my dashboard, connected the main radar to my dashboard, and connected the label (sweeping line) to my piston only. Then I was just a matter of moving things around in relation to one another to make sure it looks good. the two last steps were, I went into the properties of the piston and set it to activate on 7 (so I can make a switch that said radar and it would make the line begin to sweep) finally the last step I used "Z" to hide the piston in my dashboard. That way all you see is a sweeping green line. Sorry this is so long...
@HaydarFB HaydarFB, brilliant thinking with the heads up radar on the right and weapon status on the left. I'm following you now and I gave you an upvote. Fyi, I'm using your radar and heads up design on one of my favorite planes and I will definitely give you credit ! Again, great stuff !
I wish this had a VR cockpit. This is such a great plane. I love all the little things like how the side bay doors only open when you select guardian missile. Z
