So i will explain why we see the sun as yellow, explain why the sky is blue, aswell as why rainbows are formed and explain why sunsets are so beautiful! White light is actualy all visible light, which can be scattered using a prism, such as an atmosphere or water droplets scattered through-out the sky(That would be a rainbow), earths atmosphere is what makes the sky, the sky scatters blue and indigo light more than red, orange, yellow, and green light, but the light that's absorbed, not scattered, ends up hitting the surface and we see the sun are yellow(sun colour and sky colour), then during a sunset, the sun is a more shallow angle than when its high in the sky, so longer wave lengths of light scatter(sun set colours), also, next time the sun is setting, look around the horizon and you may notice the green seperating the blue sky from the red/yellow sunset. And jeez that was long, good thing I know so much about light.
