The canopy looks quite wide.
Btw try using circular top & curved bottom corners to get rid of the weird patterns.
(Also gives realistic sections for the nose/intake/body since they aren't completely circular)
I don't really recommend the LG's or either the realme or xiaomi, I'd always stick to Samsung. List by Price
(2019) S10+ (5G) 500~600 USD, will be able to handle almost anything.
(2018) S9+ 400~600 USD, still powerful will get the Android 11 update soon.
(2017) S8+ 300-400 USD, its still quite powerful, but I'd rather buy the new late number A series (A70~90), since it's quite aging. Plus, no more software update (Android 9)
(2019) A90 (5G) around 400USD. Probably the best in the A series so far.
It will still be able to handle a lot of things.
(2019) A80 has a weird camera rotating stuff, looks quite fragile to me. (will be around 300~400USD)
How long are you going to use it?
If you're planning to use this for about 1~2 years, you should consider all in the list, but if you're planning to use this for 2+ years, you probably should go for the new ones such as the S10+/A90/80.
The price gap isn't so big, only about 100 or 200 USD.
You should go for the S10+, or if you're a little bit short on money, choose the A90.
@BigBigTheMac You could either buy the S8/S9, both can run 5000parts too, but the software update is coming to an end.
You could buy some of the A series.
Avoid the A10~50, start choosing from the A70~A90.
@NotSoNormalPioneer yes, it is possible, but you'll get 10 fps and it'll take ages to load the plane, I know because I have the A20, which is better than the A10.
I'd probably recommend you the S10 plus, its almost 2 years old and therefore it is cheaper than the S20s, but doesn't have a significant difference in terms of performance.
It has a Exynos 9 (some have the SnapDragon 855) with 12GB ram(that's a lot for a smartphone, 4-8GB is average) , with 1TB storage (that's alot too.)
It'll be able to run over 2000~5000 parts very smoothly for sure.
It'll be around 600-700 USD.
and bruh do you think i dont use blueprints????? i take SP very seriously, and i know i sized the slats right.
If you are, use it properly.
I'm not even sure if the Marut had a slat, but if it had, it would be larger, according to the blueprints. Slat comparison nose section comparison
The cannon placement, canopy shape is so wrong.
Why do you use a blueprint?
Blueprint is to increase the accuracy of the build, at least a bit.
Try using fuselage parts instead of spheres for the canopy since we have the 'smoothing' function.
And now you've found out that you were not the first one to use such a technique, why don't you edit the forum?
my new aircraft may feature 20-30mm cannons and I want to know wether it would be better to make them guns or cannons
I prefer cannons for 20-30mms.
Btw try this to make your aim easier: fuseInput = TargetSelected ? TargetDistance / (1000 - rate(TargetDistance)) : 60 (where 1000 is replaced with projectile velocity).
You've set limit of the Gforce is 7.5Gs, but some of the aircrafts you've gave as an example can exceed 7.5Gs.
For example, the Supermarine Swift can hold up to 9Gs, and the F-100 can hold up even up to 11Gs, the Supermarine Scimitar, 12Gs.
Should the realism be sacrificed to keep the rules or maybe replicas could be an exception?
@UsualPioneer how do you expect a canned coffee to have that kind of taste
@Ruvien0Republic0Citizen
It's working now, but it was like this
Cool builds btw
There's no pic but cool
@WAIVONSIS go into settings and disable simpleplanes from using full screen.

@UsualPioneer Isn't the teaser about the heli, not the carrier? lol
uhm ok
@BigBigTheMac Good to hear!

.@FOXLOVER iOS devices do have amazing performace, but most of them lacks compatibility of many many things.

@NotSoNormalPioneer lmao that thing can't even hold 700 parts properly
Merry Christmas!!
-Tester No.1
I always wanted this in SP!
Thanks for the wonderful Christmas present!
No linux or Windows 9 versions.
Very disappointed.
(Jk)
Merry Christmas to everyone!

3:12 My favourite part
@DameTheNewbie That's for your own good to make a realistic build.
Tbh the canopy is very weird. Try using more parts to make it look more curvy.
Try using a blueprint to see what the canopy actually looks like.
submarine
Awesome!
I wanted this in SP so much!
Please tag me when its finished!
@Grogu Thanks!
Give the poor yak-15 (inlet) control surfaces rn
@NotSoNormalPioneer Thanks!
@HappyFeetWhyshouldi Thank you!
@jamesPLANESii lol, thanks.
@Belugasub Agreed.
@Numbers
(Can't you just read 2 comments below before you add a comment?)
@Brendorkus No, the exhaust scale changes by the heading, and the colour editors don't work well, they get mixed by orange.
Yep. And how about proper exhaust scalers and colour editors?
@SavageMan I'd love to help you with the F-104's gunsight.
(A functional gyro-gunsight with lead indicating functions and with a range finder.)
@MAHADI me sir

@mikoyanster Thanks for the invitation!
@Musraskrois Use the blueprint view.
@PolyIsGone np, you deserve it.
Btw try using custom thumbnails next time.
@MrEarth That's because I had to use mikoyanster's GForce limit FT codes for the Pitch input and Roll input, since this is my entry for his challenge.
@PolyIsGone Thanks!
@ollielebananiaCFSP Thanks!
My entry! I asked the mods to make this a successor of this post, so I hope it'll be done soon.
@Eternaldarkness
I'm sorry but could you please make this post a successor of this post please?
Thanks in advance.
