@BaconAircrafts Yup. Adding the scale="x,y,z" command to any part will scale them the specified amount. There is also a mass scaling command massScale="a" to accompany it. If you want to scale a part properly both in mass and dimensions a should be equal to x×y×z.
How to make it fly well:
1. Move the CoM further back. (Do this by shifting fuel, not dead weight)
2. Instead of using control surfaces on the canards, use small rotators set to 10° to rotate the whole canard. Also delete the elevators on the main wings.
3. Change all airfoils to "symmetric".
@NathanMikeska In 1.4.1.0 the shadows were fixed! :) I'm experiencing a quite large performance loss though... I can't run even the simplest of planes on medium physics or higher. The game is still playable though, as most planes (even bigger ones) will run fine on low physics.
@NathanMikeska Ok, so I tested it and the settings doesn't change anything about it. (Shadows on [medium or high] = zebra stripes, shadows off = no zebra stripes) I can confirm that the high and medium shadow settings work as intended. (Shadows casted on the plane only shows on high settings)
When It Appears
It doesn't appear at any starting location, i.e. when the scene is loaded.
Sometimes the stripes are thick and sometimes thin (If I start at yeager and go forward a bit I get thin stripes and a bit further forward they become thicker).
They only appear on the ground; they disappear at about 100ft above ground.
They don't appear everywhere on the ground either, mostly just on runways and pretty much everywhere on the car island.
The structures' shadows are striped on the car island.
@KingDeadshot They would get the same bugs over and over though. If we had a tracker where you could add (not edit) to the original description of a bug to give the devs more info that wouldn't happen.
@NathanMikeska No, the issue with the shadows started already when I updated to 1.3. I'll get back to you with what different settings do when I have tested it thoroughly.
@NathanMikeska Samsung s5 android 5.0. The zebra shadows show on both medium and high shadow settings. (And other settings doesn't do anything about it.) The only way to get rid of them is to disable shadows altogether.
@GrimMantis No, there's no value to change, but bigger intakes suck in more air.
@FrankieB You'll have to experiment
@FrankieB e.g.
scale="0.5,0.5,0.5"
What exactly did you do?
id="1" disableAircraftCollisions="true" partType="Cockpit-1"
just add it there@FrankieB you have to add it
@FrankieB You can add
disableAircraftCollisions="true"
to all parts in the game. Just add that line to all moving parts in the gear.@FrankieB Have you turned it off for every part involved?
@FrankieB What?
Exploding tires? Concorde, hint, hint
The great thing with the scaling of parts is that we kinda got this
I did it in this plane.
@WNP78 Can you scale this by 1.5x1.5x1.5?
Does it work if some of the parts already are scaled?
I would do my homework lol

.@BaconAircrafts Feel free to take the bigger and extra wide gears ;)
@General360 Thanks!
@LOSTechOrdnance I missed to write some information. The last comment has been edited accordingly and I have an example of the result here.
@CookieFlightSystems Oh, I missed that part. It's very beautiful by blocky standards though :)

It's very well made, but I'm so glad we don't have to build like this anymore.
@KHH Thanks!
You mean "as opposed to", don't you? :P
I guess I don't need to make a successor to this one, lol :P
@JovianPat In the beta for 1.3 there was a bug where the sea level would rise and flood the runways which was referred to by the devs as "the global warming bug". I thought this looked similar.
Global warming bug?
Nice! You forgot to change the left wing light to red though :p
Beautiful!

@Redlord Ah, nice!
@4399ton Oh, that's too bad
@Edde0330 Kul! :)
Either use a tilting prop (with the blades modded to be longer) or build your own swashplate and rotor.
@BoxGlow The
red text
is pretty nifty too, because it removes other formatting.Testing lol
@jamesPLANESii You could mod back in the day, it was not many who did though.
I didn't know one could do this! Awesome!
The only things left to make this game perfect for airliners would be activation groups for control surfaces and a better way to make good wings.
@WeeBabySeamus I've got it figured out, alright ;)
Awesome!! The retraction of the wheels blew me away! Sadly the extension wasn't as impressive though ...
@NovaTopaz Bottom link added :)
@NovaTopaz Bottom link not added yet ;)

@redbear89 Last time he was seen online was a month ago.

@NathanMikeska If they aren't anymore, we really need mixing of control surfaces!
