@4399ton Do you speak Chinese? Can you translate what also said? "Wheels do not blow it" makes no sense to me. (I tried translating it to Swedish [my native language] too, but that didn't make any sense either)
There was a bug with connection points in versions prior to 1.4. The fix for it made earlier versions defunct, so instead only version 2 is fixed and version 1 is all old fuselages.
@Edde0330 You have to add it yourself though. Example: < Part id="300" partType="Engine- Jet-7"position="-1.4375,4.07085,-7.143886"rotation="0,0,0"drag="1.029806,1.029806,1.665, 1.665,1.706642,0.03805127"materials="0,9,6,6"scale="0.69,0.69,0.69"massScale="0.3" > < InputController.StateactivationGroup="0" invert="false"min="0" max="1" input="Throttle" / > < Engine.StatepowerMultiplier="0.5"exhaustScale="1,1,1" exhaustStartColorOverridePrimary="F FFFFF0D" / > < / Part >
The massScale changes the weight of a part. You can also add disableAircraftCollisions="true" to every part. (Spaces were added in this example)
@JacobHardy64 Gets the message out you know :p
And activation groups for control surfaces
I want real elevons ...
@RhysBrown No. I have that mod, but it will never be the same as actual holes. (A hole option would decrease part count dramatically)
@WNP78 lol, happiness! Most people just assume they scale the mass with the same factor as the length.
@WNP78 ^^
@WNP78 correctly? (getting excited)
They made/are making a trailer for 1.4 and my guess is that other promotional stuff will be updated as well
Does the script scale the mass too?
@Ahtzee I dunno, my first creation was probably worse. One thing I remember though was that I didn't know you could tap a block to change colour
I don't have any traces left of it (apart from some vague memories). It probably looked something like this though.
@HKAerodynamics Thanks! I have seen some private jets painted black, and it looked really good on this one too.

Dat rocket engine lol
And after gold comes black in three eternities.
@KevinMurphy Just beat all the devs in point count :p
@aluo I got "Wheels do not blow it" when I translated it.
@aluo sorry, I don't speak Chinese (?)

@thealban That's not guaranteed, you could have done it a little differently ;)
@JayDay60 sure :p
@Viper28 np
And control surfaces can have multiple inputs and be activated/deactivated with activation groups.
Here
I was fooled by it ...
@IStoleYourMeme maybe a new landing gear? ;)
@Kimo Scaling down the mass is a lot less buggy than using negative weight ;)
@AndrewGarrison I also second the annoyance of all paint turning flat when undoing.
@AndrewGarrison These screens show when loading the editor.
@AndrewGarrison The hitbox of the resizable wheels doesn't scale properly. (When using scale="x,y,z")
@AndrewGarrison The zebra shadows are very annoying.
@TheLatentImage I didn't scale any mass or power on either though.
@reCarn @IStoleYourMeme Me too lol
@Rohan I also had to scale it with a factor of 0.69 when I made this. That would mean that the new engine has a diameter of 2.899.
@Rohan The new engine isn't exactly 3x3; it's slightly smaller.
Just look at this
@IStoleYourMeme But that's what XML modding is for. In the XML you don't have to limit yourself to 5 blocks width.
@IStoleYourMeme I think the new circular option has potential (Of course that one isn't tweaked at all.)
@IStoleYourMeme Do you have access to XML?
Did you scale the mass?
Wonderful cockpit, maybe a bit blocky wings and the landing gear?
Dear @AndrewGarrison , may we have mixable inputs and activation groups for control surfaces sometime in the future? :)
@LiberatorWeaponAgency Because that's the biggest one. It isn't on mobile.
Are you on mobile?
@Edde0330 You have to add it yourself though. Example:
< Part id="300" partType="Engine-
Jet-7"
position="-1.4375,4.07085,-7.143886"
rotation="0,0,0"
drag="1.029806,1.029806,1.665,
1.665,1.706642,0.03805127"
materials="0,9,6,6"
scale="0.69,0.69,0.69"
massScale="0.3" >
< InputController.State
activationGroup="0" invert="false"
min="0" max="1" input="Throttle" / >
< Engine.State
powerMultiplier="0.5"
exhaustScale="1,1,1"
exhaustStartColorOverridePrimary="F
FFFFF0D" / >
< / Part >

@Edde0330 scale="x,y,z" in the XML
@djbanana Do you only have the pc version?
@djbanana I usually build smaller things and try out other's planes on my phone.
@djbanana No, I've got SimplePlanes both on pc and mobile.
It's just a bunch of IOS users that can't download your planes. Go for it I say :p
