@Rougeclone Thanks! I suppose I needed a little background. I already have a basic framework for my usual lore - there are a few fictional companies in my portfolio that act in a certain way. As for the math, that was used to design the plane itself!
Never seen someone hate on SR2, although I’m sure that it has happened. While I like SP more than it, I fully support any decisions that the Jundroo team makes. It’s a new game, so of course it’s community won’t be huge.
A variety of factors go into choosing an airfoil. I’m certainly no expert myself, so try researching airplanes similar to your design. Alternatively, the airfoil tool might have a search function with some parameters that you can mess with.
Ah. I remember choosing an airfoil for an RC craft once. It’s been a while, so I forgot the basic calculations. I do remember the online database of airfoils that I used though. There is some pretty useful information. Hope this helps.
Fuselage blocks are hard to get used to. If you get bored at all, try messing with the fuselage block to see what wierd shapes you can make. It’s a great way to familiarize yourself with the part, as well as the designer.
There is already a limit on how high a plane can go. This limit usually occurs at 100,000 feet, and at it, the air is extremely thin. Engines fail to provide thrust, and wings lose their lift.
@Simpleplaner656 Good idea! The only drawback is that it would make the laser much harder to use at short range.
@Simpleplaner656 Thanks! That one was a good build.
@Simpleplaner656 Probably a lot of lag, but you can give it a try!
+1@AWESOMENESS360 @Iagoola I have uploaded the build!
@Simpleplaner656 Thanks! This ship was made before the devs added flares, so the CIWS was a must-have.
@Awsomur Farmer or butcher? Farmers don’t sell eggs that I know of.
@Awsomur Not auto, but I’ll do it in my next survival world. Wool trading with villagers isn’t nearly as good as I thought it would be....
Auto wool farm. Easy - just look it up on YouTube.
+1@AWESOMENESS360 Thanks! I will be sure to do so!

+2@Minecraftpoweer Thank you! Wallpapers are almost more fun than the build itself.
@HarryBen47 Thanks! Your design has good looks, and feels almost weightless in flight. Here are some recommendations:
If possible, I would recommend setting disableCollisions to true on the guns (I onetime hit myself - not sure how).
More pitch maneuverability and less responsive roll would make it a little more fun (for me) to fly
If you are up to the task, adding panel lines or other miscellaneous details would make it look really, really good.
Long story short - just be honest and open with people that you care about.
+1@Rougeclone Thank you!

+1I was looking for a good sandbox game that wasn’t voxel-based (old term that refers to building with blocks). This game fit the glove perfectly!
+4The metal and matte black finish are a good addition!
+1Since everything I build is futuristic, I might enter the challenge.
Lets be honest here. No one is actually serious about the joke.
Dunno, but I’ll upvote so it gets on hottest.
Sleek canopy design. I’m gonna take notes...

Is this for a real life application, or SP?
It is a little time consuming. Feel free to dissect some planes that are built by paneling.
Paneling is a technique where you make a plane body out of flat parts, or “panels”. This may result in the plane being hollow, or have high parts.
Looks like some other people already answered. If needed, you can try to panel it too, even if it’s tedious.
Sounds about right. Nice work!
Nice. I would guess that the fox decal itself has as much parts as an entire plane made by me. Impressive!
+3Many people don’t have that kind of time...
+1It’s a very common issue that has annoyed me for a while. To fix it, try adjusting the suspension and/or traction of the wheel.
Fuselage blocks are hard to get used to. If you get bored at all, try messing with the fuselage block to see what wierd shapes you can make. It’s a great way to familiarize yourself with the part, as well as the designer.
@ThatOneF15Eagle No problem. I made the speed a little high for a fun factor.
+1@ThatOneF15Eagle Good suggestion! I might implement that sometime.
+1@ThatOneF15Eagle Makes sense. thanks for letting me know!

+1Sounds cool. Futuristic submissions are probably a no-go?
Would a testbed plane with mounted weapons count for an entry?
+2@CK10 Yeah, I think you commented right when I logged on lol
@CK10 Thank you!
@Spaceflower Thank you!
@PvPSky Might be a lift thing. Orbid has a high lift-to-weight ratio.
+1@PvPSky Thanks! Try to cut weight, and use a gyro to maintain stability.
+2Great looks. Might as well add to the list of spotlights.
+4I can’t see why not. Go for it.
Welcome back! Can’t wait to see what you upload next. There are some nice new parts that are pretty fun to use.
And many more. I remember that allstar was the first person to give me an upvote, as well as a follow.

+1@JDog3106 Thank you! It’s great to see that I am improving.
