With KSP, you get certain pars like a fuel tank or rover wheels and you can't change their shape or how they look. With SR2, the player gets a broader creativity spectrum. With SR2, the player can paint parts, change the size, rims, and tires of a rover wheel, and change the texture of fuselage/fuel tanks. That's why SR2 stands out.
@Herpasherpaderpa @wonkapilot The tags says it's fictional. This design is purely imaginative. Though he may of based some aspects of the actual Chinook.
Good job so far. The only things I see that need to be fixed are The wings look a bit too thick as well they need to be moved up towards the top of the plane. As well your fuselage takes a sharp angle upwards. I feel it shouldn't be that sharp. Also your vertical stabilizers look to long and skinny and not short and fat. Those are just things I saw. My advice is to look up blueprints. Please take my advice with a grain of salt understand I only want to help you. I don't want to sound too picky. Once again nice job.
It could of been what is called the Autokinetic effect. Autokinetic effect is a phenomenon of visual perception in which a stationary, small point of light in an otherwise dark or featureless environment appears to move. A more plausible answer is there are some satellites that do orbit in pairs. Check it out.
@GreatHenry I don't think you should be telling people how they should spend their money. Shouldn't governments do that instead of private companies? You complain that Musk doesn't spend is money on poverty, but how much do you spend to fight poverty?
I'm getting into a bit of scale modeling as well. Some questions? I see you have Testors, Enamel or Acrylic? If enamel can Tamiya thinner strip the paint? Also do I need to add a clear coat before applying panel Tamiya panel lines?
Skua was a huge help for me. Any of my designs that wouldn't have worked, he put his time into an made them work. RocketLL in his bio has a reddit link. Possibly contact him to see what's up? I just came onto the site around the time Hypnotoad left so I never really saw any of his builds. Though I'm so glad I got the game before the steam release in Oct of 2015 so I wasn't part of the new user rush.
SR2 will stand out I believe. Space simulators today don't have the cusomizability that SR2 will have. With SR2, the player won't be stuck with built in parts so creativity goes through the roof.
People have lives outside of SP. School is coming to a close in a couple of months so people have to be ready for the end of the year exams. SP isn't dead.
The detail on this is very good. Keep up the good work. Possibly add a description on your post to include history of the plane, AG controls, and flight instructions.
The tires should be up more and not stick out that far from the bottom. But still I find this build awesome. I need to redo mine. The nose art is amazing as well.
@FgFg it just takes time. Enter tournaments. You can get easy points from them and not all winners were high ranking users. My first posts only had a few upvotes, then over time people found those post and upvoted them. I was in the same boat. Though instead of complaining that I wasn't getting much upvotes, I kept trying and building. That's why I have so many upvotes on my B-17.
@FgFg I see you are on IOS so the overload mod won't help. There is no problem with asking the community for parts. That just goes along with being an IOS user. The devs may not have any intention to do these as they are way too busy working on SR2. You can post your ideas in the Uservoice under the stuff tab.
Nice detail. The cockpit is amazing. It's nice a round and smooth. However the wings do look a bit thin. Overall nice job. I love the effort and detail put into this. Keep up the good work.
A lot of this you can XML edit. You can scale every single part in the game. As well I believe there is a XML code on bullet caliber. If not there might be bullet mass. Also tracer color, bullet damage, and bullet scale is XML editable. If you can't edit the bullet damage, you can edit a parts health which might help. I do agree with the car engine though. The engine we have right now doesn't look like a car engine. However I don't think we need more weapons. We have already a bunch. Different missiles, rockets, bombs, torpedoes, countermeasures, and guns. We have plenty. Plus SP isn't about blowing stuff up, SP is about teaching it's players about aviation and the basics of aerodynamics. We do have an altimeter, it just doesn't look like an actual one.
@FgFg I think you need to provide a solution to a problem instead of just saying there's a problem. It's like saying somebody is choking and just watching the person die. Your not helping. I'm not trying to be harsh but that is just the fact. Low ranked users tend to use the excuse that platinum users take away points from them and that they can't gain points. That is baloney. Giving excuses to yourself won't fix anything and that goes for everybody. I was once a bronze level user. But I stuck to my guns and I dedicated time and effort into builds. I was silver when I got my first feature. To say low ranked users are blocked out is not true. If you want points put time and effort into builds. That's the reason Platinum users get so many points. People in the community can see who puts time and effort into their builds and the amount of upvotes that creation gets will show that. Plus platinum users have experience. It takes time to get good at something. It takes time to understand how to build good creations. You can't expect to jump right into the cockpit of a plane and instantly know how to fly a plane. It doesn't work like that. It just takes time. Now I hope I haven't lost you. Just remember what I have said. It will work out.
@CRJ900Pilot That wouldn't work as the hottest i believe is based off of how many upvotes a plane gets in a certain amount of time. If the plane gets more upvotes in the shortest amount of time, then they get to be at the top of the hottest page.
Who would win? An explosive boi or T boi?
Sorry for the inactivity. I would've commented sooner on your post
+7I like rockets.
+1i like planes and I like these pictures of planes.
@RailfanEthan you didn't choose the meme life, the meme life choose you.

Those look very good. The detail of the suspension is fantastic.
light look at the middle far right side of the image. I've seen this on multiple images.
I see planking is the new crave in Simpleplanes now.
I have until June 14th. Fun.
So much RUSSIA.

I want to see both, but right now I want to see the Clipper.

@ForeverPie how did you come aware of Mattangis death?

The in game music. I really like it.
+1I have it. Mushr00ms mood is very helpful in making anything.
Love the detail put into this. Not trying to be picky but the wing landing gear wheels should be bigger. Overall I can't wait to see this released.

I'm a Life Scout Working on my Eagle. I finally got my Eagle project done.
french fries.
+2@JED no that plane is a Brewster Buffalo.
Good detail.
+1People have lives outside of SP. School is coming to a close in a couple of months so people have to be ready for the end of the year exams. SP isn't dead.
+1I like the USAF version however the Fins were the most successful with the Buffalo.
You know something is wrong when you have to say [not clickbait] on anything.
+1The detail on this is very good. Keep up the good work. Possibly add a description on your post to include history of the plane, AG controls, and flight instructions.
+1I have and still play SP on a kindle fire gen 2. The only thing is loading times are long and the battery life is short.
Kewl. I like the detail. Part Count?
You should give a link to other tip post if you have any. I noticed a 4 in the title.
Oh so you were the home intruder. I see.
+2"There are 106 miles to Chicago, we have a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses."
+2good meme.
@phanps thanks.
How do you get the clear parts? XML editing?

You can put this idea into the Uservoice under the STUFF tab. The devs won't find you suggestion in the forums.

@ThePilotDude I agree, However what you said about people getting too caught up in the points is absolutely correct.

B is the best paint scheme. Change my mind.
Bingo. 4CH3NHNH2 + 5N2O4 → 9N2 + 4CO2 + 12H2O
