I may also talk to my uncle who flies American Airlines. Hopefully he’s around. You are more then welcome to lend a hand. Credit is not needed but I will give you credit for helping me.
I like what you did, spec ops style. I can only do so much on my iPad, I have to agree with you, the rotors don’t turn like I want them to. @MrAdhmGamer
@FaLLin1 I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything, I put a lot of devotion into test flights, I want to make sure the player has the best experience so for that reason, it takes a while, hope you understand
@Postcommenter6969 it’s practically finished, I’m just working on flight physics and opening doors, i have no estimate on when I will post it, all I can say is quite soon,
@Thaflightgod1 good question, I never used a heli rotor, I built the rotor from scratch, it gives the helicopter more maneuverability. How it provides thrust is that I hid vtol nozzles in the blade tips. Those are then controlled by the vtol engine in the back.
@Dissent3R thanks for stopping by anyways, I’ve moved on from the game’s rotors as I am now making my own custom rotors. In other words, this is an old post.
@FaLLin1 well it’s too late for me to send you it as I deleted it, something that I’d rarely do, however I can remake it if I so need, the problem was by taking off, it would fly in weird ways, however this is probably because I got too mad and didn’t work out the problem.
This has been canceled due to its complexity, I have no clue how to make a “working” tilt rotor, so to avoid a massive headache, I’ll be making a fictional tilt rotor some other time.
@overlord5453 if you want, I recently let another player take a look at one of my builds and he believed it was a bug, but be my guest, I’ll tag you on a post
@overlord5453 well it’s too late now unfortunately, I’d have to restart that repositioning process all over again, I guess you could say I had a rage filled moment, I’ll try that process tomorrow and see how it goes
@overlord5453 I was testing to see if I could refuel my helicopters on the ship I had, I did some repositioning of the refueling drogue so it would be underneath.
And I think as soon as I removed the flight computer and added it back on my chopper, it started exploding, however it’s nothing to be concerned about as it works.
I just did some testing that was not really necessary, my goals were for it to be able to refuel a helicopter and haul it across the see, that and I wanted to to be prepared for simpleplanes 2 (if everything goes as planned).
@overlord5453 great, speaking of not being able to make everyone happy, I ran into an issue with my boat so it’ll be a long time before I even attempt to work on it again lol, worked very well until the end.
It can still be used to just land and take off though.
@overlord5453 sure I’ll be happy to take a look at it it, just post it the way you want and I’ll take a look, and about what you said on the physics, my choppers actually work on medium, if not I just rip off the rotors and post the airframe so others can build onto it, making everyone happy is a hard thing to do.
@overlord5453 unfortunately I tried this too, I don’t think simpleplanes has the ability do that kind of level of realism, so what I do to make it look like it’s flying like your average heli is I put vtol nozzles on the wing tips to, this can have ups and downs but it gives it more realistic abilities that the simpleplanes rotors don’t.
@MRFOXY09 cool, good luck! However I will be making Super stallion, which will be easier for me, I know a lot of people love the that marine helicopter.
@Babs22 I can help you with the spinning part, perks of being a fanatic of the Blackhawk and knowing how it works, you see the tail rotor’s sensitivity is something i couldn’t really stop so i highly recommend just giving it a little input (in other words, nudge) not a a whole lot, it’s especially weird when flying at higher speeds.
@Jundroo I would like the idea of lights that produce light on the ground or on the fuselage for cabin lighting or cockpit lighting like in Simplerockets 2 it’s kinda dark in the aircraft in simpleplanes at night.
This is amazing, definitely one of the greatest chinooks on this site, I’m making one right now, I'm using wing stabilizers as the rotors, any idea how to make the chinook not want to spin in circles?
This is a great helicopter and I’m surprised with such little downloads as this deserves more.
+1All my helicopters slightly veer one way so I have to reposition myself with the tail rotor. @AN2Felllla

@FaLLin1 sounds like a plan
@Postcommenter6969 most likely, in fact I’m going to make two, one with the water tank underneath and one without it.
@Pleco123 be my guest
@Postcommenter6969 I have one UH-1 but I need to remodel it, right now I’m on vacation so I’m taking a small break as of now.
To those who have wanted to be tagged, here you go.
@TheNewSPplayer
@YarisSedan
@Berulacraft many thanks
@Bluesyn thank you
@Postcommenter6969 in a few days, I just need to try one more thing, however the first one won’t be as good as the second version……. Probably
@FaLLin1
Yeah I could pull some up, however I’m sending this out early because I’m making two versions of it.
@Postcommenter6969 it’s practically finished, I’m just working on flight physics and opening doors, i have no estimate on when I will post it, all I can say is quite soon,
@FaLLin1 I am happy to announce that I am back on schedule, I’ve fixed the problem after months of hard work.
@Mosquitowithagun crop dusting
Beautiful machine, it’s amazing when everything comes together isn’t it, why I love Simpleplanes.
@Thaflightgod1 good question, I never used a heli rotor, I built the rotor from scratch, it gives the helicopter more maneuverability. How it provides thrust is that I hid vtol nozzles in the blade tips. Those are then controlled by the vtol engine in the back.
@Dissent3R I gotcha ya
@Dissent3R thanks for stopping by anyways, I’ve moved on from the game’s rotors as I am now making my own custom rotors. In other words, this is an old post.
@overlord5453 okay, I’ll try it
@crazyplaness thanks anyways even if you didn’t know, appreciate it.

@overlord5453 I did that and i destroyed my aircraft and how it flies, sorry, maybe it’s best I just deal with it for now.
@overlord5453 interesting, I’ll keep take another look but I can’t say if I’ll be able to fix it or not
@RailfanEthan I’ll try that thanks, not sure if it will work or not.
@overlord5453 well it’s too late now unfortunately, I’d have to restart that repositioning process all over again, I guess you could say I had a rage filled moment, I’ll try that process tomorrow and see how it goes

@overlord5453 yes, with gyros, however the sensitivity is slower and makes the helicopter react slower to make it more realistic.
The lift makes the helicopter nose up and that helps with level flight, it’s extremely fun to fly.
@MRFOXY09 sure thing, once I make it I will!
@FaLLin1 sorry, didn’t have good angle pics
@MRFOXY09 cool, good luck! However I will be making Super stallion, which will be easier for me, I know a lot of people love the that marine helicopter.
@MRFOXY09 sorry if it’s not exactly able to fly, maybe you or someone else can figure that out, tandem rotor helos are not my forte.
@Babs22 alright, since you’ve asked and I have postponed this project a little too long, I’ll make it right after a make a plane.
Saw one of these a few weeks ago, awesome aircraft.
@MRFOXY09 thank you
@Jundroo I would like the idea of lights that produce light on the ground or on the fuselage for cabin lighting or cockpit lighting like in Simplerockets 2 it’s kinda dark in the aircraft in simpleplanes at night.
@Idonteatbeef check out the new one, it’s got better information on it, this is an old version.
This is amazing, definitely one of the greatest chinooks on this site, I’m making one right now, I'm using wing stabilizers as the rotors, any idea how to make the chinook not want to spin in circles?
This was actually fun to fly, good work
Lol
