Sweet little kite, old chap. I was designing something similar to follow on from my Broadsword, but you pipped me at the post. Never mind, I'll post it soon anyway. ;-)
The Avro Aircraft Company was founded in 1910 by Alliott Verdon Roe at the Brownsfield Mill on Great Ancoats Street in Manchester. Hope that clears it up. @LancasterAce @WIZARD2017
@GhostHTX Yeah, use full flaps and 25% throttle and pull the nose up to about 5° and she'll settle onto the water nicely. Keep the stick back until speed drops to around 50mph and you'll keep the old feet dry.
@GhostHTX Thanks, old bean, appreciate you taking the time. Poor Megaplanesinc seems to have a recurring problem, however, and I don't know why. Maybe extending the rear float section would resolve it for him. Bloody good to be back, actually - this work malarkey seriously cuts into my SP time!
@GhostHTX Hello, old bean! Sorry for disappearing like a fart in a storm, but it really wasn't down to me. Glad you like my little re-entry project, a quick build with no pretensions. True to form, I didn't check enough before uploading; I really should have noticed that trim problem. To be honest, I don't use trim in the game, because i have no stick forces to eliminate... that's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it! I love the "buxom" look of copious amounts of wing too, glad we have similar tastes ;-)
@TitanIncorporated I've never actually built a VTOL aircraft, but getting the Cof G right would be my advice. Or cheat and use a gyroscope. Sorry I can't be more help.
Lovely job mate! My Bucc had(has) autoroll problems too. I thought it was the offset refuelling probe at the time, but no. Destined to remain one of the unsolved mysteries of our age, methinks.
Thanks for the feedback, and yes, I (obviously) dislike RPAs too, but we meatbags have long been the limiting factor in combat aircraft. Oh to be a "Ghost in the Shell"...@ChiChiWerx
I say, old chap, what a sweet build! A "Rockbeau" no less. And yes, fun is more important than realism, when I want real I head out of my front door. And this overweight little number is potentially as much fun as Ashley Graham in a bath full of jelly. Tally Ho indeed...
@Tang0five Thanks again, I appreciate your kind words old chap! I count myself very fortunate to have had the opportunity to fly these wonderful, quirky aircraft which, as you say, we'll probably never see again. It would be nice to "pull up a sandbag" in front of a couple of cold ones and I ould bore you to tears with all my "derring do"! Who knows, it could happen...
You're more than welcome! As regards a book, I think there are many more interesting people out there that would do the Lightning and its aircrews infinitely more justice @Tang0five
@SangerAircraft Appreciate you taking the time to comment!
+1@Strikefighter04 thanks bro!
+1@ThePrototype I just keep plugging away. Some of the guys here are phenomenal.
+1@ThePrototype wow, thanks man!
+1Tip top, old bean! Rather spiffing backstory, if I may say so. Your effort has started me off building a fictional V-Bomber too,
+1I'm not jealous, not me, no absolutely not. Aaaaaargh! How do you do this?
+1I have an entry. How do I make it a successor?
Spiffing build, old chap! Nice to see this old crate in flight mode, even if the real thing was rather disappointiing in its original role.

Thank you muchly, my fine fellow! Thanks for thejolly old Spotlight, much appreciated@Tang0five
Thanks, but I admit to being was heavily influenced by Cutangus. @Ryn176
Cher Trainzo, vous avez un nouveau disciple! Well done!

Take a look at my Vindicator for a bomb bay idea. Adapt it however you want.

@GhostHTX Thanks matey! Give it a robust test flight, would you? Someone said it tips over.
@Viper3000ad Thanks!
@Megaplanesinc it will if you nose down during take off or landing. Otherwise it's fine.
@Tang0five :-) Hope you like it.
@Minnererg Thanks, bro.

@LordSatan You must really be Satan... I've never managed to break it. What's your secret? ;-)
@ThePilotDude Yeah, I messed up during the initial naming. Sorry bro!
@Tang0five Much appreciated, my old fruit. Nice to be back.
Love the style and the logic.
What a little beauty! Lovely handling, and impressive detail. Spiffing build, old chap.

@Tang0five Badgers, Bisons and Bears. Bloody hell, that sounds like a song from the Wizard of Oz...
After a work-enforced hiatus, I come back to find this little gem. I think I'll go away again.
@mikoyanster Am I missing something here..?
Hmmm. Never made a glider before, but I'm in.
@GhostHTX gourmet burger, of course. Thanks old chap!
@MailboxIsMyGender Thanks bro!
@RamboJutter Yes and yes. Not a well known incident because practically unpublicised. Past "glories" adapted for SP :-)
@RamboJutter Heh heh! just a little artistic licence there, old chap!

Thanks to @JohnnyBoythePilot and @getorge for your spotlights

Good Lord, what a beautiful build. Done with passion and knowledge. Mere words can do you no justice CCW!
Only one with a flight helmet and RAF100 years on his profile though... I think. Does that make me a prick?@GhostHTX
yoku dekimashita Ghost-san! bows deeply

done @GhostHTX
@GhostHTX Much appreciated, old chap
Have an upvote and a new follower.
@RamboJutter As they say over here, "Good blood never disappoints":-)
@RamboJutter I have an 888 Racing from the old Uncini SBK team. Love it to bits.
