Tip top, old bean! Rather spiffing backstory, if I may say so. Your effort has started me off building a fictional V-Bomber too,

I'm not jealous, not me, no absolutely not. Aaaaaargh! How do you do this?

  • Fighter Under 25 parts, challenge (CLOSED) 2.7 years ago

I have an entry. How do I make it a successor?

  • Boulton-Paul Defiant 5.1 years ago

Spiffing build, old chap! Nice to see this old crate in flight mode, even if the real thing was rather disappointiing in its original role.

  • Supermarine Scarab MK1 3.5 5.4 years ago

Sweet little kite, old chap. I was designing something similar to follow on from my Broadsword, but you pipped me at the post. Never mind, I'll post it soon anyway. ;-)

  • Blackburn Broadsword 5.5 years ago

Thank you muchly, my fine fellow! Thanks for thejolly old Spotlight, much appreciated@Tang0five

  • Blackburn Broadsword 5.5 years ago

Thanks, but I admit to being was heavily influenced by Cutangus. @Ryn176

  • Miassichtchev M50 Bounder 5.5 years ago

Cher Trainzo, vous avez un nouveau disciple! Well done!

  • Lancaster B Mk I 5.5 years ago

The Avro Aircraft Company was founded in 1910 by Alliott Verdon Roe at the Brownsfield Mill on Great Ancoats Street in Manchester. Hope that clears it up. @LancasterAce @WIZARD2017

  • BHA-102 Cole (Need Help!) 5.6 years ago

Take a look at my Vindicator for a bomb bay idea. Adapt it however you want.

  • Bradley-Davies Seahorse 5.6 years ago

@GhostHTX Yeah, use full flaps and 25% throttle and pull the nose up to about 5° and she'll settle onto the water nicely. Keep the stick back until speed drops to around 50mph and you'll keep the old feet dry.

  • Bradley-Davies Seahorse 5.6 years ago

@GhostHTX Thanks, old bean, appreciate you taking the time. Poor Megaplanesinc seems to have a recurring problem, however, and I don't know why. Maybe extending the rear float section would resolve it for him. Bloody good to be back, actually - this work malarkey seriously cuts into my SP time!

  • Bradley-Davies Seahorse 5.6 years ago

@GhostHTX Thanks matey! Give it a robust test flight, would you? Someone said it tips over.

  • Bradley-Davies Seahorse 5.6 years ago

    @Viper3000ad Thanks!

  • Bradley-Davies Seahorse 5.6 years ago

@Megaplanesinc it will if you nose down during take off or landing. Otherwise it's fine.

  • Bradley-Davies Seahorse 5.6 years ago

@Tang0five :-) Hope you like it.

  • Bradley-Davies Seahorse 5.6 years ago

    @Minnererg Thanks, bro.

  • Blackburn BLACKSTAR 5.7 years ago

@GhostHTX Hello, old bean! Sorry for disappearing like a fart in a storm, but it really wasn't down to me. Glad you like my little re-entry project, a quick build with no pretensions. True to form, I didn't check enough before uploading; I really should have noticed that trim problem. To be honest, I don't use trim in the game, because i have no stick forces to eliminate... that's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it! I love the "buxom" look of copious amounts of wing too, glad we have similar tastes ;-)

  • Ikran 5.7 years ago

@LordSatan You must really be Satan... I've never managed to break it. What's your secret? ;-)

  • Blackburn BLACKSTAR 5.7 years ago

@ThePilotDude Yeah, I messed up during the initial naming. Sorry bro!

  • Blackburn BLACKSTAR 5.7 years ago

@Tang0five Much appreciated, my old fruit. Nice to be back.

  • SJ-21 Delta 5.7 years ago

Love the style and the logic.

  • Ghost Dynamics GD-201 Sparrow (GA Challenge) 5.7 years ago

What a little beauty! Lovely handling, and impressive detail. Spiffing build, old chap.

  • 50sChallenge Lightning F7 (P8) 5.7 years ago

@TitanIncorporated I've never actually built a VTOL aircraft, but getting the Cof G right would be my advice. Or cheat and use a gyroscope. Sorry I can't be more help.

  • Tupolev Tu-104 5.7 years ago

@Tang0five Badgers, Bisons and Bears. Bloody hell, that sounds like a song from the Wizard of Oz...

  • Armstrong Whitworth A.W.175 2.0 5.9 years ago

After a work-enforced hiatus, I come back to find this little gem. I think I'll go away again.

  • Bradley-Davies Gladiator 6.4 years ago

@mikoyanster Am I missing something here..?

  • Glider Challenge [CLOSED] 6.4 years ago

Hmmm. Never made a glider before, but I'm in.

  • Bradley-Davies Gladiator 6.4 years ago

@GhostHTX gourmet burger, of course. Thanks old chap!

  • Buccaneer S2B 6.4 years ago

    @MailboxIsMyGender Thanks bro!

  • Vickers Vindicator 6.4 years ago

@RamboJutter Yes and yes. Not a well known incident because practically unpublicised. Past "glories" adapted for SP :-)

  • Vickers Vindicator 6.4 years ago

@RamboJutter Heh heh! just a little artistic licence there, old chap!

  • Blackburn Buccaneer S.2B 6.0 6.4 years ago

Lovely job mate! My Bucc had(has) autoroll problems too. I thought it was the offset refuelling probe at the time, but no. Destined to remain one of the unsolved mysteries of our age, methinks.

  • Bradley-Davies Gladiator 6.4 years ago

Thanks to @JohnnyBoythePilot and @getorge for your spotlights

  • Bradley-Davies Gladiator 6.4 years ago

Thanks for the feedback, and yes, I (obviously) dislike RPAs too, but we meatbags have long been the limiting factor in combat aircraft. Oh to be a "Ghost in the Shell"...@ChiChiWerx

  • Bristol Beaufighter Mk.Ic 6.4 years ago

I say, old chap, what a sweet build! A "Rockbeau" no less. And yes, fun is more important than realism, when I want real I head out of my front door. And this overweight little number is potentially as much fun as Ashley Graham in a bath full of jelly. Tally Ho indeed...

  • North American F-100D Super Sabre 6.4 years ago

Good Lord, what a beautiful build. Done with passion and knowledge. Mere words can do you no justice CCW!

  • Mitsubishi A6M5 Reisen 6.4 years ago

Only one with a flight helmet and RAF100 years on his profile though... I think. Does that make me a prick?@GhostHTX

  • Mitsubishi A6M5 Reisen 6.4 years ago

    yoku dekimashita Ghost-san! bows deeply

  • Bradley-Davies RETRIEVER 6.5 years ago

@Tang0five Thanks again, I appreciate your kind words old chap! I count myself very fortunate to have had the opportunity to fly these wonderful, quirky aircraft which, as you say, we'll probably never see again. It would be nice to "pull up a sandbag" in front of a couple of cold ones and I ould bore you to tears with all my "derring do"! Who knows, it could happen...

  • Bradley-Davies RETRIEVER 6.5 years ago

You're more than welcome! As regards a book, I think there are many more interesting people out there that would do the Lightning and its aircrews infinitely more justice @Tang0five

  • Grumman Wildcat FR.VII 6.5 years ago

    done @GhostHTX

  • Bradley-Davies RETRIEVER 6.5 years ago

@RamboJutter I have an 888 Racing from the old Uncini SBK team. Love it to bits.
