Oh, i'm sorry. You have to activate group 4 to control the elevons. It was a feature that was present in the old version as well. You can use it to set trim for the aircraft. It's basically cruise control. @DragonCreations
They really weren't made to be used to their full extent in flight. They actually go that far so that the user can approach the USS Jundroo at a lower speed. Landing a 20K lb. vehicle on the USS Jundroo is no piece of cake, but I tried to make it as easy as possible for myself and others. That's why they're set to 30degrees. @karlosdarkness
Mods have opened up a whole new door as to the limits of the game. It allows the people to do for themselves what the devs simply could not, at least on a reliable basis.... We have so many geniuses here that are able to create such amazing parts, like @authros and @walrusaircraft and walrus junior. The community has definitely benefited from them and their modding abilities. I know I have. As for the engines and the fuel tanks, they are invaluable, up to a point of unrealism. 1000x power engines aren't necessary. But maybe something like a 5x power engine may propell the aircraft to realistically high speeds, improving the design and enjoyment by the user. The tanks help balance weight and can sate the appetites of the gas-guzzling modded engines. Frankly, we couldn't have come as far as we have without modding and I'm very grateful for tgose among us who possess the ability to do so with skill.
