I'm bilingual and you guys must understand translation between English and Chinese, especially jokes, are incredibly difficult, and complex, and for sure is something google translate cannot do. The language barrier is immense, which may explain it.
I have no clue what happened, so I'll stay away from posting my opinion. But just keeping it out there.
@girlsandpanzer The FT work on this is very cool. However, the feature function is intended to highlight exemplary builds from less widely known or lower point (below platinum) users that otherwise may not get the recognition for the quality of the build. I believe the quality of this build is sufficient that it can and will get the recognition, without a feature.
The thing is for this one, and a similar one by another user is that, (opinion follows) the painting is clear enough to depict, but not photorealistic enough to be used to deceive people. Of course, we don’t know the author’s intention, nor do I want to baselessly accuse anyone. I think an average user of the site would be capable to see the thumbnail as a painting or an artistic depiction, and understand it’s not a screenshot per se. Of course if this becomes a problem in the future, something would be put in to prevent it. However, for the time being I think we don’t need to assume people have ill intent, and we can let people have a bit of artistic freedom.

The complaints do have merit. While I don't think this is misleading intentionally to the point of breaking the rules, I definitely do understand the concerns. I understand the thumbnail is an artistic render of the build, but it cannot be ignored that some key features have been altered to improve or change the appearance. This could be interpreted as misleading for some. I think this is in a grey area of what is allowed and what isn't. While I don't think it will be removed for now, please be more considerate in the future, and create thumbnails that more accurately reflect the build.

In addition, please improve your attitude to the feedback. If you don't like what people say, block and report. There is no need for snarkly replies and passive aggressive comments. I hope you can demonstrate you are more mature than your replies suggest.

@TiFosiF - reminder that conflict can be solved without throwing insults. The block feature exists for a reason, you might want to use that instead of wasting time writing those mediocrely crafted insults in Chinese.
This build is allowed to remain posted because of proper utilization of the successor system. Had the original user not deleted their account, this would be present as a successor to the original build.

However I am extremely uninterested in off-site drama, and while I do believe both you as well as others have their reasons and opinions, I would strongly encourage you to leave that at the door when you log on to the site. Calling people out and harassing each other over trivial matter such as this - which is now in the past, is not needed. I do not and will not pick a side, but I don’t appreciate offsite drama being carried into a build on site.
