@LoafOfBread Uh... I’m not sure what you mean with the whole name thing. But to post a video, you go to the Videos section of SP, go to the top and click create. This’ll bring you to the posting screen. Put the post title in the first box, and the video url link in the second. If your channel isn’t verified (by the sound of it it’s not) you have to click the verify channel button, which brings you to a new screen. Here, you’ll find a long, unique code. You take that code and put it into the description of your video. Then take that video link and put it in the farthest down box so that the AI or person can verify it’s your channel and your videos. Then click verify. This should bring you back to the original page (I think, it’s been a while) where you click post and post your video.
Well ya go to the videos tab, click create, and follow the steps. Make sure to add the verification code into your video description if it's your first video and your channel isn't verified. It's pretty self-explanatory and easy to follow.
Yeah by default you can turn it on/off by setting a key. The home button opens the control menu, and then I have the page up key set to enable/disable it.
Just a general rule of thumb, don’t start at default runways. It causes a lot of collisions. I (and pretty much all other MP people) recommend creating custom spawn locations for all airports.
Ah yes, Tristar has recommended the right person. From my short experience actually posting stuff, I've realized marketing is key. You've got to grab people's attention, get them interested in your build. Something unique or popular generally does this. So:
The Build Choice Building something unique tends to grab people's attention. This site has quite an abundance of Starfighters, Mustangs, Phantoms, and other "popular" and well-known aircraft. Building something that is less familiar sometimes gains more interest. If you're going to be building a "popular" plane, make sure it looks good and performs well, otherwise it might get buried.
. Make a Teaser I like to add a forums post about 2 days before I post my build. Add a little text describing what it is, but keep it mainly screenshots. People are coming to see the build, not the essay.
. Details and Realism For a good, successful build, you want to have a mix of these. It's got to look good to attract people to it but perform well too. As Asteroidbook said, randomly placed vents and rivets can only get you so far, realism is best.
. Good Screenshots Well lit, colorful screenshots will grab the viewer's attention at the thumbnail level, but having more screenshots in the description to highlight some of the builds special features of design aspects works really well. Bogdan does this well, take for example his most recent post, the TU-14. Instead of writing out all the controls for the instrument panel, he uses a simple image and labels it.
But in the end it's all internet points with no real value.
I'd say part count and size. My "mobile" device I have SP on is a Chromebook, which prefers less than 450 part builds. A small plane can be ran fine, but load in a boat of the same part count and the heavy lag starts. Anyways PC is the best platform.
Anybody happen to know where the restart level key is for Real Life 2021?
I’d remove the cuss word, it’ll bring a strike.
burnTimer and selfDestructTimer, both measured in seconds.
@LoafOfBread glad it worked!

Or make a VTOL... those tend to be really popular
+3No no no you've got to do what I did... disappear for about a year and then come back with a 1500 part Voodoo.
+3Yeah by default you can turn it on/off by setting a key. The home button opens the control menu, and then I have the page up key set to enable/disable it.
+1Whatda mean you mean low quality thumbnail? The picture takes up the whole space, it’s well lit and isn’t smothered in text. I say good job!
Yeah that was the only part I wanted to see. After they flew over, I disappeared back to the basement to play some SP multiplayer.
+1Lol. Just wait until you're running for your life as MrSilverWolf chases you down in a log stacker forklift...
Spotlight this if I could! Absolutely amazing! The auto trim is quite handy.
Too many
@UltraLight ha ha ha jk
D:
Oh yeah and all weapons except for missiles and bombs don’t work.
Just a general rule of thumb, don’t start at default runways. It causes a lot of collisions. I (and pretty much all other MP people) recommend creating custom spawn locations for all airports.
+1They moderate the heck out of stuff. Can’t even post certain video game stuff or they might demonetize or take it down.
+2YouTube’s turned into a place for sissies.
+2The next time I get an annoying screenshot request I’ll make sure to ask if they want fries too.
@PapaKernels Would be adding rockets for a smoke trail effect violate the no weapons rule? Just curious.

+1Physiological operations... like putting speakers with loud obnoxious screaming playing on the plane?
Jet biplane
@Fox3 they look custom made
+1747
A car ferry would be cool to see. Unfortunately it wouldn’t work well in multiplayer.
+1Yeah, but how many are really active?
+4Just wait for a sale and get SP on PC for about $4!
+16
+1You mean Xbox Game Bar? I use it. All my SP videos were recorded with it.
ChiChiWerx has some. here
WIDE F-14. Lookin good!
You beat your planes up too much. They look great!
Slick
Yeah this is defiantly rubish. Don't pull the gear up I guess. It also does free uncontrollable flat spins.
+2Not enough wing area, too much drag for a plane this small. That should fix it.
@ledownloader123 I don’t know. It’s something similar to Apple’s iOS polity so you can’t modify the app files.
@ledownloader123 New Google policies. Jundroo didn't really choose to.
Only on pc
That'd be cool to see. More customization on the engines, much like SR2.
+3Yep I’m bringing out the tac nuke.
+1Sign me up.
T
Damper multiplier
+1T
Lookin’ good!
Cool

Very neat. The funny thing is I was drawing out my PFP too.
