@TheNightmareCompany hahahahaha i remember i spent so much time time on the water physics of this plane (more than id like to admit). the plane flew way better when i first posted it, now it kinda flies like a pig (i guess they changed the physics)
This thing is incredibly cool. The auto bailout feature on the AI version is seriously impressive, easily my favorite feature ever implemented in a replica. Screw the details, screw high part counts, screw "hyper realistic maneuvering", this thing looks legit (looks amazing actually), is so much fun to fly, and has so many useful little gimmicks that I absolutely love. For merely 170ish parts, this thing is absolutely incredible. Honestly, I would take this over a 1000 part hyper realistic replica any day, it's that much fun, and hell, actually usable. Seriously, I've never had as much fun in SP as I did playing with this thing (and the 109 you made too, that's also awesome save for the auto roll). Great stuff. Auto roll is a bit annoying, but I think SodiumChloride summed up the fix :)
not bad for a first build, windows are far too large and disproportionate to the rest of the vehicle and it is WAAAAAY too fast (like, it would be more than fast enough with 250 HP). fun to drive around in though, and I gotta admit, it does look cool. good stuff :)
on a future note, effective off roaders normally have shorter wheelbases so that they don't bottom out as easily, just a tip.
@klm747klm747 I have full confidence in that happening with how this looks so far, good luck! If it doesn't get at least 200 upvotes there's something busted with the community, because it is looking insane at the moment
HOLY MOTHER OF GOD THIS PUTS THE COCKPIT I MADE FOR QINGYU AND I'S 757 TO SHAME
Great work bud, this is looking absolutely incredible. Obviously i'm gonna throw in the customary "T"
The funny thing is, the F2A-1 Buffalo was actually rather nimble, and according to their pilots they were joys to fly because of their light weight and low wing loading. It only got bad with the F2A-3, which added self-sealing tanks, armor, improved radios and a bunch of stuff that made it so heavy that it was like flying a pig. Great work though, this looks pretty sweet!
even easier way, put it anywhere on the fuselage, open the fine tuner and nudge it in. The fine tuner is in the tab with the curved arrow, above the part settings on the right hand side when hovering over a part, and in the submenu with an adjustable wrench.
if you have a potato phone just make your plane out of parts with calculateDrag set as false and 0 dragScale, you can use overload to mod it and save it as a subassembly. Then use 1 part with drag and adjust the dragScale accordingly. This way, if only 1 part has drag, your potato device can run builds with 1500+ parts no problem.
BEAUTIFUL! Screenshots are amazing! They really show off the sheer detail of the plane! Though putting a picture of the interior (navigator/radio, stairs and such) in the description wouldn't hurt :)
@ChamDel7 thx
absolutely gorgeous!!
+2@Whycantimakeagoodplane66 so you understand that lmao is an expression, and i'm not calling you that, right?
@Whycantimakeagoodplane66 ??? do you know what lmao means?
@Whycantimakeagoodplane66 I made this like 5 years ago that wasn't a concern for me back then lmao

xD
isn't this identical to a different plane?
gorgeous, this is absolutely incredible
jesus those parts tho
@PolyIsGone I would love to flight test! Here' i'll give you my Discord tag in an unlisted post that i'll tag you in.

missing the red circle around the maple leaf on the tail for AC's new livery, but hey, nice modification!
Looks kind of like a Hurricane, cool build.
+1@F104Deathtrap :)

@SavageMan thanks!
@tsampoy @KangaKangaTheRoo @Hedero thanks guys :D
+2@rexrexThezion not the M variants, they only carried 6 to save weight to achieve their higher top speeds of nearly 450 mph
beautiful!
@temporaryaccount :)
@temporaryaccount oui je suis le cochon
@temporaryaccount thanks man :D

bootyful, as always :D
+4@CRJ900Pilot lol TRUE
This is seriously impressive, great work! Way better than that Mustang we made years ago haha
The fact that this is only 1500 parts astonishes me. Great work!
+1Looking SWEET!
@Tang0five LOL exactly

+1This is incredible! Great work! Only gripe is that it accelerates far too quickly, but other than that this is seriously impressive.
+1Looking great!!!

@TheReturningHound looking great! will it be ridiculously maneuverable or toned down to be realistic?
Absolutely amazing!!!
@F4f879 well let me know before you post eh? I can try my best to teach you with MS paint graphics XD
+1did you end up figuring out how to upload with custom screenshots? looks soooo good!!!
@QingyuZhou thanks! heh yeah, I got really lazy and lost motivation for this build
@Mustang51 OMG WHY DID I NOT THINK OF THE ROCKET IDEA THAT'S GENIUS
@Cobrahuey thanks!
@AerobaticTeam2018 that's exactly why I built it
+1@Hedero @CRJ900Pilot thanks!
