@combatwombat363 Thank you!
really happy you like it :)
I wanted to add the rockets to this Orca, but it made it too heavy...
You can grab it from the NOD version, just grab the hollow part that houses the Rocket pods, and make a subassembly of it.
OK, This thing is Really cool, and way too much fun to drive!
Personally I love the simplistic look, Functionality always takes priority for me, and this didn't disappoint.
One warning tho... I Think NOD is going to steal this as their new Buggy chassis. ;)
Cool Idea!
I have a bit of experience making bikes, I also worked in a bicycle shop for a long time IRL, and worked on quite a few Enduro models, I even owned a couple of Big-Hit bikes myself ;)
I made a bike (motorcycle) a while back and it solved a few problems I had with balance.. Here's a link it has a tutorial to take it apart.
just so you can see the control layout and what I did to have flexible control for doing all sorts of tricks and such, feel free to use any of it or not if it doesn't fit your idea.
- The one thing I would recommend is, Think of the Gyro as if it was the Rider...
where the center of gravity is compared to the bike (usually around where the seat is), and how body movement can be translated to the gyro.
feel free to ask me anything, or to tell me to shut up and stay out of it ;)
A lot of players told me it's hard to refuel without seeing the Probe infront of you.
IRL, Pilots have indicators either inside the cockpit (little crosshair or lighting), Or on the Tanker itself (usually an external lighting system) to help them line up.
If you focus on the Drogue or the Probe, you might set yourself into oscillations going up and down trying to catch it.
Instead you focus on keeping it steady, and use your indicators to line up.
I hope this helps you in any way :)
The Original humvee was made by @CRATE52PART2 Link here
I'm modifying this to be a C&C GDI Humvee with Autoturret.
read more in the Video description :)
The Turret shape is a placeholder for testing, and will change completely when finished.
@7 Probably I'll give it a test in the advanced model...
There's going to be 2 main Orca III uploads to reflect GDI's subfactions:
-Orca III for VR and general flying (GDI & GDI ZOCOM) + other skins & weapons.
-Orca III Advanced VR controls (GDI Steel Talons) which is the dual control one.
tho I'll probably need help stabilizing it again for VR after adding all the new stuff and finishing the cockpit ;)
@Rompuss62 hey buddy, pls don't ping me by my name here.
There's a lot of users in the SP FB page, and it's against the SP rules to share players information.
I'm not angry or anything, but you could get into problems with SP for stuff like this, so I removed it :)
@Kimfri yeah they were a bit of a pain to make.
I added a link to the Palette of crystal clusters, that I made for making fields
I'm trying to figure out how can I make good looking Blossom Trees...
This is amazing!
takes me back to playing this on the old nokia 3310 because there were no other games on cell phones back then XD
I also broke my joystick, and this is probably the best thing I can control with KB and mouse...
@kiji been working on this for a long time, but had 6 months that I couldn't play because of IRL stuff..
+1so its hard to say

Wow, that's cool!
it really reminds me of Command & Conquer3 Ion cannon
@ta152h1 not sure I'll do another Orca, but maybe one day ;)
@TRD6932 glad you like it :)
+1@V At least it doesn't require a cleaning crew to wash the pilots remains after each run :P
@OnlyRealCarrot Thank you! :)
@Otana OP AF :P
but I always liked them as well

@ReinMcDeer Thank you, very cool!
Great plane, flies great, pretty nimble.
Very hard to land and taxi...
but that's not necessarily a bad thing ;)
@SemedianIndustries anytime ;)
+1I'm glad this is getting the recognition it deserves
The PC/MAC version requires access...
The Steam version works perfectly!
interesting design
Beautiful build!

Simple, low partcount, drives pretty good, all the things for a good build :)
I like it!
Can I use this to make a Command and Conquer version?
I want to modify a few things on it like an Auto-turret and gun instead of cannon, and few other changes to fit more with GDI.
I've been searching for a good Humvee, and this is the best I've tested.
+4nice!
+2It's one of the most famous planes of it's time in Israel.
Tho I'd love seeing some IAI "Kfir" (Mirage 5 Israeli Copy) on the site. ;)

@Voxtagram Rifter MK-II is one without the smoke trails mod
