Well it depends on how futuristic you want your planes to be, but what I do is come up with a gimmick (Usually a wing shape) and build based on that. Works every time.
@captainlevi820 drivers are pretty much things that make other things work. A graphics driver, for example would essentially tell your PC how to use your GPU.
(I'm not sure where to get drivers, but don't go searching it up cause one can easily hide viruses in there.)
as for a lack of GPU, most PCs come with Intel Integrated graphics (Based on your i5 I assume it has that and all it's drivers installed)
@Nexy12
I like the NX class too! nice lines, and the sort of twin boom design also applies to this plane too lol
The tech was limited on purpose, because I didn't want to make an OP plane as the first operational Accilian jet fighter.
I found that auto roll is caused by weight imbalance. Sometimes the designer (for whatever reason) nudges a part automatically by an amount so small it is imperceptible without looking at the XML data. This random nudging causes the COM to shift very slightly off center, which causes auto roll.
Solution: make sure all center-line parts have the same X-coordinate and them mirror the design. Although I am sure you cant really do that with this build because it is probably asymmetrical in composition, but for future reference the solution is here. feel free to spread the word.
I find the contrast between the red and purple an interesting choice, but I think it was pulled off quite well here. Awesome build! Really gives 262 vibes!
@ShinyGemsBro I think redesignating it as a B variant makes sense. The two listed names, Project 8121 and AF-03, are the company's internal name and the Accilian Air Force designation, respectively.
Regardless, the ordered aircraft are on the assembly lines and will be shipping shortly.
Never played 2, but I have played Joint Assault and 7 and have to say I love the '27.
As for the roll problem, there's a quite simple yet excruciating solution that requires manual repositioning via XML of every centerline piece.
Things I noticed:
- The body modeling and shape is actually really accurate
- I noticed you also use the Inferno model as standard missiles as do I
- Theres no afterburner flame (not necessarily a bad thing)
- You stayed true to source material and didn't give it countermeasures (even though it does in 7)
- The inclusion of 6 standard missiles instead of 4 is an interesting choice, probably referencing Infinity (and 7) with the MSTM SP weapon
- I don't believe there are two guns, just one in the nose, or wingroot depending on the game
These are not necessarily bad things, just little things I took notice of.
This is really nice! I like the clean lines and the way everything blends together so well!
+1@ShinyGemsBro true
+1Gotta love the invasion stripes
+1On behalf of the Republic of Accilia, we do wish to receive the aircraft, but feel free to do whatever research is nessesary before delivery.
+1@Alfredali1382 it looks great, is what I'm saying
+1siiick
+1daaamn bro this looks sweet!
+1Epic
+1Wow... 500 parts...
+1I... Don't know what I expected
+1I'd probably end up pulling my hair out if I had to make something like this work
+1Definitely
+1noice

YF-23 Gang
+1all I can say is now you can build things easier. the UI on PC is very friendly.
+1@MuizTheWeeb Yeetus
+1@MuizTheWeeb I have been summoned
+1Epic
+1@Viper_Z3R0 awesome!
+1@Viper_Z3R0 aww rip. I hope you reacquire your phone soon!
+1@ShinyGemsBro I like the story! Way more than required! 5 extra points for detail
+1@ShinyGemsBro Epic emblems!
+1Is the fact that this was released in the window for my challenge coincidental or is this an entry?
+1It is a good day to die

Ok I didn't see this coming! 10 points for creativity!

+1@Esjope you could do that too lol
+1@Esjope Yep any era. You could even do something 100 years in the future if you wanted

+1@BombBoi1822 Tag me on that, if you wouldn't mind
+1kinda looks like the XP-50.
+1LMP Time
+1@ShinyGemsBro you asked to be tagged?
+1Tiny wings!
+1@Agileswordfish ight sorry bout that
+1@Agileswordfish they just happen to have the same name. It's 100% ok to have two planes with the same name.
+1I use an Intel i5 (tenth gen), 16 GB RAM, a 1660 TI along side Intel Integrated, a 1080p monitor, and a 512GB SSD.
It runs SP very well with juicy framerates on high physics across the board
+1@Firestar190 you'll figure out how to do it eventually lol
+1Its possible to make pods for the ATGMs so you can have the best of both worlds.
+1This... This I like
+1I dunno looks suspiciously like a CFA-44
+1One of Britain's cooler looking jets, faithfully recreated in SP!
