@TheNightmareCompany Both. Your build is great, and lots of fun to drive. The idea of requiring mobility assistance even in a virtual world is funny and depressing at the same time.
@ReinMcDeer Yes big fan of mustard and I subscribe to his stream, where I found the VVA-14. Do you know if it's allowed on to to link to content creators on other platforms?
Thanks. Is that what they meant by it was painted 'Aeroflot" colors? I tried to look it up but it was in Russian. No there have been a few good attempts at this oddity over time. This is the first VTOL version.
@V OK. If they look fine in your VR headset then my advice may be out of date. It was something I noticed when I creating my first VR UIX on the 1st gen CV1 headsets. Compared to controls created for normal PC displays I found that I had to make everything bigger. I remember feeling like a 3 year old trying to grapple with fine objects. If you are able to get them, reference the games "VTOL VR" and "UTLRAWINGS" for a good comparison. (SImpleplanes VR is going to be soooo much better)
Also...and I swear I didn't know this when I commented, could you please uncurate and recurate my Hover Jet Sled-VR? I updated my tags without reading the rules on curated content.
May I humbly offer a couple suggestions? Make gauges and buttons bigger than you would normally. Because VR displays are so close to your eyes details are not as sharp. What looks fine on a screen is less so in VR. Touch controllers are cool but they are none too exact so bigger is better. That's why VR apps look so "blocky".
I should be cross because your build will definitely beat my hovercraft for this challenge but its too funny and too fun to drive. So accept my gracious surrender and my upvote.
Thanks for the kind words and the tip. Much appreciated. I've updated the tags to the challenge to fit the categories except, I cant access the "VR challenge" tag, it only lets me set it to "VR".
@JustWingIt Level30? Nice. Me2. The only reason I said that was because I had two WR accounts. One for Android (which I ground up and spent money on to full MK2), but I got an ipad and at that time you couldn't move WR account to the apple platform so I played that account strictly No Pay. At level 10 the game experience on ipad better than my Mk2 hanger which just gets nuked every time I go on it. What? there us MK3 now?
Firstly. Well done on a brilliant build! I used to play WR and your weapon is spot on! Next, I would warn against getting too involved with that game. Its all the bad of a mobile game designed to trick players into spending ever increasing amounts of money. Sure you don't have to... but sadly some spend thousands of dollars on it. If you do play, don't advance anything beyond level 10 and you wont get caught up in the power creep.
Really like this one.
Well... why not.

I find myself oddly triggered by VR friendly wheel-chairs.
It does its own thing and swims in little bursts. You can control it with Activate1 but it only moves during those moments. Spawn it as an AI.

Oui vraiment!
Thanks everyone for the upvotes.
Yep. I made one with the VTOL capabilities that it was supposed to have.
Its peaceful. I think it needs a keel
Nice!

I like this one.
What a good idea. I'm going to do a room too.
Love the steampunk styling.
A teaser for my upcoming entry into the VTOL challenge
Geez. Fabulous! I wanna stick my dime on the top of the game machine to reserve my turn. Or..Did I just make an outdated 80's joke.
Use the overload mod and instead of controlling flaps with "Roll' use this code
RollAngle/90+Roll
Nice idea
@V Will do. Thanks!

Can it be silly but very functional?
And he does it again...endless imagination.
Really good. Love the cockpit
Just keeps getting better!

I can help

Can you make the gauges and things bigger? I find that 1.5x as large as you would normally works best with VR
VR Ultralight comes to Simpleplanes! This is really fun to fly.
It's stunning.

We've all thought about doing it. But you actually did it!!! Well done. (Look ma no hands)
Here is a tip. Cockpit controls for VR need to be bigger and closer to the camera than you would normally do.
You should place an entry into the VR challenge. They've extended it for a week. If not this one one of your others, They are great!
Pretty freaking amazing
Should enter this into VR challenge too
This is really good. You should enter it into the VR challenge under "experimental". Even if it beats my entry. Need to tidy it up a bit first though.
Oh. Was mine disqualified?
Got it. Thanks.

Not bragging about having experienced SP in VR. I Promise.

OMG OMG OMG. So many questions.
@Werboithescientist Oh, now I know what you mean. Actually looks kind of cool. Very 3D printable.
just love this car. Plus its got a very reasonable part count. Thanks for posting it.
@Werboithescientist Mech combat board game? Sounds fascinating. I thought I was showing my age by having played MechWarrior (1989). oops
I love the Fenrir

Ok. I Think I got at least one of the ideas. !Piston Overrides
But the reset thing eludes me.....for now.
