It does look pretty cool actually, T
Btw you can only tag up to 3 people per comment, so Colonel "Canafa" and Turbo18 didn't get notified.
To tag more than 3 people, split the tags between different comments, in sets of 3.
@ColonelCanada The site owners (aka devs) are relatively chill when it comes to off-topic content. A side-effect of that is people forgetting what this site was about in the first place and treating it like a social media.
Not sure what could be done about it, limiting all content to aviation-related things could result in some problems, especially since there are quite a few people who make things like cars and boats and you'll could never list every possible non-spam post in the rules.
I suggest we just ignore the "hourly life report" forum posts and don't mess with the site rules regarding off-topic content.
I'm no airliner expert but I did make one a while ago and decided to use control surfaces plus air brake parts hidden inside the fuselage (both using the same input), since control surfaces don't have drag and brakes don't reduce lift, so I combined both to get the proper spoiler effect.
The airliner I made is this one btw, If you wanna take a look at it in the designer.
6 months later, here's the reason for that "Interesting." comment:
Remember the Report Post exploit that allowed you to access any non-removed post? I was messing around with that, trying random numbers, and by pure chance stumbled across one of my own posts—this one.
Click the part you want to mirror, click the rotate arrow, then click the button that has only a right wing and an arrow, not the ones that have an entire half of a plane.
I'd recommend you save the craft before doing this, just in case.
@BeastHunter Oof, YouTube is unusable without an adblocker now, Google is getting extremely greedy with the ads. Can't even rickroll people anymore.
Also what? Why would it be?
@ColonelCanada Well the guy who made it has over 6 years of experience with building here, and the A-10 is a replica, which usually gets more downloads than fictional planes.
An example: compare this to this, RD's plane got in a week as many downloads as I did in 2 months, now it has like 6 times as many.
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes Make sure to split the tags in sets of 3, since that's the maximum amount you can have on a single comment.
All the people on the list after me didn't get notified from the pinned comment.
Anyways I'll read this now.
bruh you did that just for a test? The mods were extremely generous in not only not perma-banning you for it, but also forgiving the ban evasion that followed.
You should think more about your actions before you go through with them.
Fun to fly, easy to land, looks nice and has a low part count, you're great at this m8
The flight model may not be very realistic, but with so many planes trying to be as close to reality as possible, one that flies somewhat like Ace Combat is a nice change.
Btw if you take requests I wonder if it'd be possible for you to make this plane at some point.
It has a neat feature where the wings can fold inward, I'm curious what it'd look like in your building style.
@ColonelCanada So CC Productions is back at it again? Nice, perhaps a private jet for the president would do well cough.
Anyways how 'bout making a bottle of this? As far as I know it's good for you but tastes like fish-flavored toothpaste.
@ColonelCanada The line between meme and spam is a fine one, make sure to put a decent amount of effort into joke posts (like you did with that juice box you made ages ago) or else they might get removed.
Either way you shouldn't see the plat tag as a goal, but as a nice bonus you'll get eventually. If aiming for it makes you enjoy the game less, you should probably not do so.
@ColonelCanada Well everything is based of off something else, though I do think my planes became less unique (if prettier) when I started doing that.
I'm not a very creative person though, so I'm not sure what else I could do.
@ColonelCanada Hmmm... I think it has to do with the aesthetics of the planes, wing position, nose shape and all.
I usually try to base my planes on real aircraft so that they have somewhat realistic proportions, maybe try doing that when building? My planes from before I started doing that also got few upvotes (see this, it only had 6 upvotes before people started upvoting all my crap to boost me up).
Some examples of the stuff I based my planes on:
McDonnel Douglas F-15 ACTIVE = TVC-M1
Airbus A320 = K46 Jackpot
Cirrus SR22 = LA-23 SuperProp
Su-57 = XF-22A Caelum Rex
@BeastHunter He replaced the "I" in MAHADI with an lowercase L, you can see the l is slightly taller (awful design choice for a font btw, every letter should look different imo).
So I guess it's just an impersonator.
like this

fallbacktext is what shows up if the image doesn't load, while image.png is a direct link to an image (so example.com/images/u01jf31nhr wouldn't work, it needs to end with the file extension).
Imo downloads matter more than upvotes, since it means people cared enough about your plane to at least try it out.
Either way you shouldn't treat this game like a competition, in the end we're all just here to make cool stuff and share it.
ah god dammit I fell for it
Didn't think you could add youtube links there since it didn't work when I tried.
Edit: Oh right it does work, but I tried it on the "Android" option, which doesn't pop up even if you add a link there.
@Otana A drawing of this would be nice, just a suggestion.

+1I've edited this comment so many times I forgot what the point of it was, my bad.

@Graingy I didn't make this up, it's a real plane

About the now non-existant tag comment:
+1Yeah "Korzalerkle" is a dumb name lol, it's mispelled on purpose taken from here

Here's a mod I made for Android, hopefully you'll find it entertaining.
+1@32 Nah it's fine, from my bio:

"Mobile friendly" seems to vary wildly depending on device, for some people it ends at 400 parts and for others it can reach multiple thousand.

@IceCraftGaming Already have.
+1@IceCraftGaming how many days until your plane passes my jet in downloads? I'm betting on 3.
+1If by any chances it takes less, I owe you 20 upvotes.
@ColonelCanada Nope.
+1@BeastHunter bruh
+1nearly gave me a heart attack
@ColonelCanada I made one a few days ago, but I doubt I'll keep it for long.

Is this serious? Why would you do that?

@BeastHunter asking for upvotes is against the rules smh my head @moderators /s
+1I wonder why publishing crafts takes so long, isn't it as simple as removing an "Unlisted" flag from the post? Why would that take several minutes?

Over 200 downloads, see? I told you the thumbnail was a good idea.
+1@ColonelCanada yeet
+1This isn't the final paint scheme btw, I'm not sure what it'll be but probably less of an eyesore than this.
