  • The Core i7 9.3 years ago

    @nicksarusrex the os doesn't care about the number of cores. It doesn't actually know what a couple with 4 cores is. It can read that they're are 4 cores allowing it to display you info, but northbridge, southbridge and the kernel handle putting it into cores.

  • MP Chicago (Mod. 4A) 9.3 years ago

    @hypnotoad thanks!

  • Midlands Hunter (Mod. 29 Boat) 9.3 years ago

    @hypnotoad the puzzle for a large boat is the main body, if I can't get beta access I'd just use some fuselage parts for main body probably...

  • Lockheed Super Constellation L1650-R 9.3 years ago

    @WaterAirLand the actual prop structure was made by authros.

    @Dynimerous thanks!

  • MP Chicago (Mod. 4A) 9.3 years ago

    @hypnotoad I believe I made the fattest looking fighter ever.

  • Midlands Hunter (Mod. 29 Boat) 9.3 years ago

    @hypnotoad thanks! I'm thinking of making a large boat soon.

  • Blohm & Voss BV 141 9.3 years ago

    It must have taken ages to get right.

  • hypnobird (the first hypnosub) 9.3 years ago

    @Homersdonut it's possible but challenging. Anyway that means this isn't a submarine.

  • MP V1 Fencer 9.3 years ago

    @Authros do you like it?

  • Grumman F9F Panther (F9F-5) New paint job 9.3 years ago

    It's a nice new paint job, but you should CREATE your OWN ORIGINAL planes. The rest of you be nicer to beginners. God, half of the time you gold users complain about a 3 star rating, and here's you giving one star ratings.

  • hypnobird (the first hypnosub) 9.3 years ago

    No engines work underwater. Anyway just moving forward while sinking isn't a sub. A sub can rise as well as sink.

  • Can You Make it Fly (yes) 9.3 years ago

    Not the most impressive look.

  • The TEN PARTS Challenge (CLOSED) 9.3 years ago

    @A5mod3us this'll be a hard one, but I think I'll enter.

  • Adios Airways 9.3 years ago

    @PlanesOfOld Nice to see we got a happier conclusion between you two. Though PlanesOfOld you can come across a bit, provocatively... sometimes. Im sure you only have the best goals in mind, but possibly put a sheath on that cold blade of fact. There are people on the other side of that screen, and im sure you wouldn't walk up to a classmate, or a work collegue and say that their whining, infront of the entire community? Would you. @TheSoundofLight it'll be a shame to see you go if your still determined to go.

  • Simple Beast 9.3 years ago

    @TheSoundofLight How come your deleting your account? it'd be a shame to see you go.

  • Simple Beast 9.3 years ago

    Wings look slightly to swept forward (they are a good bit more angled at the back then at the front) which lets it down a tad.

  • De Havilland Vampire 9.3 years ago

    Well done! You should try using curved blocks and nosecones more (you can change their size to make nosecones go partially inside other parts)

  • The unfinished but mighty HMS dreadnought 1906 9.3 years ago

    @PlanesOfOld well done! Now for....diamond rank? (Platinum jubilee comes just before diamond right?)

  • P-38 Lightning 9.3 years ago

    Beautiful plane, also when did planesofold get platinum!

  • super fast jet 2 9.3 years ago

    @Karlosdarkness the thing always puzzling me, wheel drag. Does it end when wheels are retracted. Or does it remain?

  • P51D Mustang (Beta) Now with trim 9.3 years ago

    @Authros adjustable trims might this be? Level flight at any speed. If I get a darn angling nosecone I'll be finally going supersonic...or make a stable boat.

  • Biplanes sure are weird. 9.3 years ago

    @LjSpike the propellor on the top is there just to make it MORE controllable.

  • Biplanes sure are weird. 9.3 years ago

    @Kevpilot well, it's got flat bottomed back wings, symmetric front wings. I know adding a cradle would fix it, but would make it look very....abstract..

  • multijet VTOL 9.3 years ago

    @karlosdarkness Well, the reverse thrust (atleast of that strength) and the braking when trying to get to neutral caused it to lose control, 9 times out of 10, the rest of the time it just landed on its roof. Possibly if we could get it perfectly level with only upwards thrust, we could use airbrakes alone to slow it while forcing thrust up, then slowly decrease upwards thrust to create a slow drop.

  • Lockheed Constellation EC-121 (Beta) 9.3 years ago

    @Authros don't like the bits on top of fuselage. I love your use of the term 'overspeeding'

  • multijet VTOL 9.3 years ago

    @karlosdarkness nose heavy on landing this is.

  • CF-100 Mk.5D Canuck 9.3 years ago

    @LjSpike Neutral bouyancy is the minimum bouyancy required...as the fusilage shouldn't normally touch the water, but incase it does...thats why neutral bouyancy is useful.

  • CF-100 Mk.5D Canuck 9.3 years ago

    @Scriefers Im making some boats, a small one I made called the Utopia boat I very much liked, and im thinking of constructing a large version of it...But im not the best at fusilages...because I cant XML edit or do really extremely advanced clipping. Pretty much an airplane fusilage, with a deck on the back, thrusters included...able to float. Roughly the size of a simpleplanes transport plane im thinking of doing for the scale. :)

  • Albatross - Midland VTOL Fighter 9.3 years ago

    @karlosdarkness Guess thats a method to approach it. Anyway. I might get you to balance some VTOL's on the next VTOL craft I make. im terrible at getting them to stay level.

  • MP 'Dreamfairy' (mod. 7) Glider 9.3 years ago

    @ramjet @abhay thanks!

  • Albatross - Midland VTOL Fighter 9.3 years ago

    @karlosdarkness hence why you don't glide into a landing and you go high speed the high speed reduction. The stalling then puts it onto runway. The air brake are only suitable while on a runway, and actually are slightly weaker then the reverse vtols. Thus the airbrake could be used in a full runway landing, but if there was a bumpy off road landing vtols could be used after airbrake initial activation.

  • Albatross - Midland VTOL Fighter 9.3 years ago

    @karlosdarkness well, I didn't fancy going through my downloaded mod rack again. God it's slow to do that on my iPad. Anyway, vertical landing needs backwards facing thrusters.

  • Cessna 310 Jundroo Island Tours 9.3 years ago

    @Authros Oh no, KEVIN! When the next update arrives I'll have to make an evacuation plane.

  • CF-100 Mk.5D Canuck 9.3 years ago

    @Scriefers Hey scriefers, I really need a fuselage, similar to a plane fuselage but neutral buoyancy and a 'deck' at the back. I need to be able to connect things at the back middle, the forward area of the sides, it also needs to have some reasonable engine put into it. (Preferably it should be overbouyant if possibly). The fuselage is bigger than a fighter, so normal simpleplanes transport size really. Hope you might be able to help!

  • Albatross - Midland VTOL Fighter 9.3 years ago

    @karlosdarkness ok. @hypnotoad thanks!

  • Utopia Boat 9.3 years ago

    @TheSoundOfLight @ramjet @Authros @WeeBabySeamus what do you think of my first boat?

  • Beechcraft Experimental Plane 9.3 years ago

    @Gelodixus it appears to be that aircraft, but the twin-engines advert I worked off didn't have a clear mention of bay aviation, only of beech.

  • Utopia Boat 9.3 years ago

    @hypnotoad thanks! It originally started as a catamaran, then needed weights...so turned into this! I did try to make a 2 or 3 engine model but the back lifted up then.

  • A jet plane (challenge) 9.3 years ago

    well. From how light the base is, it makes sense that when thrust goes up even beyond 20% that it would wobble...causing a non-vertical takeoff, needing more power.

  • A jet plane (challenge) 9.3 years ago

    Had to make an adaption on stand by adding fuel tanks to weight it down, can't really takeoff below 55% thrust. Speed 9/10 manoeuvrability 6/10 looks 7/10 inventiveness 8/10 TOTAL: 30/40

  • SL-202 Pegasus 9.3 years ago

    @kikasshes purely because it was slightly longer, I had to slightly fix your fix to make it fly straighter.
