You must be joking....
I’ve been looking for this sort of thing forever!
(goes for both the EngineOut and Limitless Spin)
Now my gearbox contraptions might actually be able to move at speeds over 10MPH....
@Egemuu I guess I’ll put a lot of effort in to a piston drive then. I have one or two more ideas to make that work, and a design it might work on. Am I glad I have tons of previous experience with piston engines in this game....
Nice!
Just one point of input: in C&C3, the tank has two separate pods on a single turret, not one whole. Nice job so far though!
I made a stealth that is.... kind of.... similar to the original a while back, feel free to check it out.
@LieutenantSOT
I’m currently working on a set of tank tracks (technically a belt RN). It needs more work, but it looks promising. I started about two months back, after seeing a post I can’t find back. Give me at most two weeks, and I should have something that works - with only XML weight adjustments, and maybe benefitting from LimitlessSpin.
@Egemuu
Sadly, that’s not an option. I need something that can stop, and the speed of which can be altered - so an infinite rotator is out of the question.
@P0TET0Z Something generic. I’m talking about the cockpits of the commercial planes (the older ones), which all have fairly similar noses. Look at the Globemaster and the 737 mainly.
@Gladiator343i Actually... This is just a test rig to make the legs work. I threw the guns on for fun. I checked, this thing is only about as tall as the 1:1 scale Mammoth’s lower leg xD
Thanks though, and it’s nice to see someone who recognises it. Cheers!
Wow, this hasn’t seen a comment in a while.
Anyway, while I suspect it won’t be used much, I’d love to see a C&C / CnC (Command & Conquer) tag, as I’m starting work on a series of replicas from that franchise, and would like to set them apart to fans of the series.
@TheBruh007
It’s certain now, I’ll make a Mammoth replica. I just need a choice - OG Mk I or the CnC3 Mk III?
And don’t dare say Mammoth Mk II. First, look it up. Second......
I’m already working on that ;)
@TheBruh007 It sure wasn’t three months, only about one. Then again, I haven’t been very active myself due to this thing called.... a TEST WEEK.
You don’t want to know.
@ThePrototype That I had not thought of. @DerekSP played around with the damperMultiplier and mostly fixed it, so I’ll keep working on the ship - but I‘ll probably try that once she’s done.
DAMN YOU SIMPLEPLANES!
I was going to upload a dreadnought with these two ships, but sadly, I reached my daily maximum of uploaded... ‘aircraft’.... Oh well.

@TheBruh007 Thanks!
I still want to see yours, though :3
Besides, I see you’ve only been here a month - I’ve been around here for several years now, and i dedicated a lot of that time to experimentation. You’ll get the hang of it ;)
@TheBruh007 That was...
REALLY quick.
Okay, to be fair, I’ve been messing around with a radial piston engine design all day, but still... I’m impressed! Can’t wait to see your build!
@TheBruh007 Of course! So long as either the auto-credit works or you mention me in the description (if you intend on releasing your build), that’s fine!
I’ve noticed that, if you select an aircraft and then switch to AG mode with a cannon, a green box appears. It seems to me it can be used to target the aircraft with the cannon, vut whenever I move my turrets, the green box flies all over the place. Does anyone know what that’s about?
NOTE:
AG5 combined with the brakes raises the back. Also, the front crankshaft is missing a rotator to keep it stable - not a big problem, but it makes everything a bit wonky. (note the different small rotators in front and behind the engine)
Did I go too far?
Nah. I’m building gearboxes in real life as well, with LEGO parts I salvaged [ :( ] from a Technic airplane. Oh, and I hooked it up to a 40-year-old hobby steam engine for a trial run.
You must be joking....

@MintLynx
If only I had found this BEFORE making two tracks worth 2400 parts between them....
ahem
@TheBruh007 why hello there

@TheBruh007 whatcha think
Should I make a Super-Detalia over the course of the next week or so?
....
Yes.
I’ll see what I can do.
@Hellosss38 To be honest, it’s probably just the fact that I don’t post as frequently. Then again, I don’t even know how those points work, so.....
@Hellosss38 Hot damn. I’ve been here for years now, and I’m still at 1079. Yikes....

Looks nice!
Not sure it really works though... As she’s smaller than my smallest good-flying plane :p
I reached silver!
YAAAAAY!
Only took me.... 4,5 years....
In case you wanted to know, yes, the one with the standard paint that I have as a back-up looks MUCH less intimidating
@Mustang51 Thanks!
@TheBruh007 It sure wasn’t three months, only about one. Then again, I haven’t been very active myself due to this thing called.... a TEST WEEK.
You don’t want to know.
@MIhey I’ll look in to that... So far, I’ve only used overload for making my ships somewhat functional, and adding health to a tank I made.
@MIhey What do you suggest I use it for? Any ‘Detalia’ project I tend to do as stock as possible....
@Skyler717 I’m not sure what you mean by ‘belt car’, so I’ll say it isn’t. It’s a chassis for cab-over-engine truck designs.
@DerekSP she’s done!
Here’s some pictures ;)

@TheBruh007
Here’s a little teaser....

@TheBruh007 Maaaaaybee........
Then again, it IS based on a Detalia-style chassis, so I kind of had to ;)
@ThePrototype That I had not thought of. @DerekSP played around with the damperMultiplier and mostly fixed it, so I’ll keep working on the ship - but I‘ll probably try that once she’s done.
@ThePrototype How do you mean ‘counterweights’? How would that work?
O.O
Did you see the regular-gunned ship?
@TheBruh007 That’s a shame... Though, I guess there’s still mine :p
DAMN YOU SIMPLEPLANES!
I was going to upload a dreadnought with these two ships, but sadly, I reached my daily maximum of uploaded... ‘aircraft’.... Oh well.

@relic700 Is there also a way to make the cannon function only in air-to-air mode?
@TheBruh007 Thanks!

@TheBruh007
psst
i made my atv version
hint hint
Yes.
I know it’s ugly.
But it does its job, and it does it well.

REALLY quick.

Keep your eyes peeled, if I don’t forget I’ll release my series of battleships on the world tomorrow.
@TheBruh007 Of course! So long as either the auto-credit works or you mention me in the description (if you intend on releasing your build), that’s fine!

And I thought I was first to be maniacal enough for this sort of thing....
Then again, I didn’t use any modded parts ;p
It’s a thin boi, that’s what it is.

@Rymanx03 Yeah.... I may have forgotten to check if there were any successors to the original post when I first found it.
