    Aye, thats pretty neats! Never thought I'd get first, but I'm seeing that not having an interior killed a lot of people's points
    also the 1.9.202 beta somehow broke gyroscopes, which is what my gun uses to elevate and depress, which might of been the issue

  • ZL-0 4.7 years ago

    Yeah, sorry for the whole comment deal and probably making things look like its about me slightly, but everything's just a mess and all thats as of recent, and certain individuals seem to be doing anything but getting over what happened.
    @zhouzay

  • ZL-0 4.7 years ago

    I'd block them then, not throw some absolutely massive entitled fit to the already overworked Mod staff about what can really be only considered "light trolling" at worst.
    And a bit of a history on my acc, but way back 4 years ago, I had someone try to do the exact same thing to me when I make a complete rebuild of one of their basic flyers. The guy is long gone with someone else using their name but considering how close I came to wanting to outright quit SP then with Mods coming in and sorta backing the guy, I have little respect for Random's actions to someone wanting to make a joke successor to an upload of hers.
    @zhouzay
    and apologise for coming to one of your posts to make this comment, but understandably Random blocked me from commenting

  • Propeller engines in SP are sluggish as fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu dge 4.7 years ago

    Not hate towards the busy devs or the question in general, but it took something like a year just for them to increase the maximum size of fuselage blocks from 5 to 10, doubt they'd get around for something like tweaking the engines in a decent time, especially now.

    The Žaneta 2A1 has very similar turret protection to the Žaneta 3, if not more, and generally performs thr same, but I'll be sure to mention you once it exits trials.

    The VTOL nozzles are really the most powerful engine in the game, having a plane use them really guarantees great speeds.
    And I can't wait to see what you make for improvements!

    It's like the "none" part command you suggested in this forum, but instead the part just detaches when it takes too much damage.

  • Beta 1.9.202 4.7 years ago

    Okay, so a bug report, and yes I have posted one in the proper places, but I've done more testing since then making it a bit outdated;
    Apparently commands for gyroscopes, such as making them move pitch and roll, doesn't work once updated to 1.9.202. This means if I try and, for example, make a gyro stabilized gun elevate, it won't whatsoever.
    Not only that, but gyroscopes don't even work at all. Something attached to gyros and on a pivot point don't stabilize whatsoever during several tests, and is what I originally reported, partially.
    So, basically, I found that 1.9.202 completely breaks gyros unintentionally

  • Help Needed for Vertical Stabilizer 4.7 years ago

    ohhhhh, me misunderstanding the situation like someone smart, rightttt
    Are you using a gyroscope for stabilization, or funky trees?

  • Help Needed for Vertical Stabilizer 4.7 years ago

    Attachment editor, it only appears in the rotate block menu. You can use it to edit connections of selected blocks, as well as add conections to any block you've placed.
    @EGplanes

  • Help Needed for Vertical Stabilizer 4.7 years ago

    That was a good choice, but even then the connection system for SP can be weird when parts are close in the designer, with it sometimes connecting them together when you don't want them to.
    Terribly annoying when making guns, though theres now a tool that can fix this issue.
    @EGplanes

  • Help Needed for Vertical Stabilizer 4.7 years ago

    I think a part of the gun stuck to either the turret or hull.
    I've downloaded it and tried seeing about fixing it, but I'm having slight issue figuring whats intended to move and whats not.
    Edit: So I got the gun to elevate and depress, and turret still works, just click to make sure I got it right

  • Stuff 4.8 years ago

    From what I'm understanding of this situation, from an hour or so of digging through various comment sections of people who hadn't been unjustly banned, all this [seems to] stem from Random being petty over a successor that she didn't like.
    Maybe some words were said that would completely flip my point that had been between Random and the [uploaders of the three] successors that were made of the upload in question, or me taking personal experiences of someone who tried to do the exact same thing to me years ago too closely, but thats what I see.

  • [SPMRP] what happened? 4.8 years ago

    Didn't know it got deleted, but the server had some absurdly poor moderation, and the few times moderators, admins, and owners did anything, it ended up with the wrong people being punished.
    Was neat for a bit though, but having people in the server only to criticize those partaking in it and/or their builds was also common, ruining what remaining fun it had.

  • *cries in tank cannon* 4.8 years ago

    The guns are to (at the least almost) scale according to the built-in SP dimensions.
    Before the cannon part was added, I did a lot of trial-and-error messing around to figure as close as I could with the 2-digit-past-the-decimal weirdness SP has to figure several gun calibers (20mm, 50mm, 90mm, 105mm, 128mm), and found that after the update, scaling the gun parts to those specific calibers found they were almost exactly the same size.
