If only Cessna would venture away from the ugly fuel-efficient designs and go back to its roots. Cessna did make the CR-3 Racer, which won every race it entered during it's 60 day life span
You got me on this one. I'm stumped. By the way, if you're interested in making aircraft from this time period, I would recommend the Cessna A-37 Dragonfly
I tried this a while ago. I seemed o have a hard time sequencing the bombs dropping, even with set activation groups. Yours looks a lot prettier than mine
There was a homebuilt turboprop aircraft years ago called the Mach Buster that was supposedly able to break the sound barrier. However, I'm pretty sure the project either was never completed or never flew.
@A5mod3us yeah, the high thrust angle is something that I couldnt really do anything about, so when you stall with the power on, it tends to flip over.
This challenge seems rather redundant, because there is no way to tell whether the entrant actually made it in 30 seconds. Also, you could set up a really detailed plane in the SubAssemblies and just pull it out in 10 seconds.
I highly doubt there is anything too crazy for simple planes
Hey! I just saw this!
Tu-160 Blackjack
I really love the bare metal soviet aircraft. Great job man!

@Thehtmguy IKR?
I got hit too. I posted something asking who my followers were and someone changed the description to "Hate you guys"
Wow @Skyhavenflyer8 . That was fast.
I've been putting off building the Ta-154 for a while. Maybe its time to give it a go.
My years of researching obscure aircraft has finally paid off!!! Its a Boeing SkyFox! Boeings modernized version of a T-33
Hmmm.... Haven't seen a V-8 layout octocopter on the site yet. Great work by the way
@ctjet That video looks awesome!
neat
Something jazzy, maybe. @ctjet
@ctjet Tell me when you do. I would like to see someone else fly it!
Mind if i use the cockpit of this for something Ive been meaning to make?
If only simple planes had ground effect........
What could be more badass than a 75MM Cannon slung under the belly?
"I've lost the beeps, the sweeps, and the creeps"
Hehe, I remember ripping one of these apart with my bare hands for parts.

You used the same wheel technique as i did on my Pilatus @DeezDucks. Brilliant minds think alike eh?
Hehe, my cousin @Skyhavenflyer8 can't spell very good, but he's an American.
????????
Panthers, only because i like the Grumman F9F better than the North American OV-10
@Doge27 XD
Sure! What do you mean by art though?

Very Cool!! Maybe I'll take a crack at the Skua or the Roc
Maybe ill try. I've got a couple of good flying vtols, but i think i will use my Scissor Wing VTOL
@A5mod3us You should check out @DeezDuck 's entry to my latest challenge. he made a forward swept canard with no vertical stabizer
Hey, i just realized, the new island isn't all that different from the wii sports resort island
Fun concept. Maybe ill have to do a scale rocket powered aircraft
do they sound right?
Not bad. I tried the Gyro Captain's Gyrocopter from Mad Max 2, which was difficult.
I've read about this thing. They liter really claimed that because there were no struts, the wings would flap like a bird's
Ok @goboygo I will change that
Drag chute would be nice

So, does this mean like peaceful self sustaining rovers traversing the earth in search of food and water, or full on Mad Max?
Awesome! BTW, its actually an AutoGyro, not a Gyrocopter
does it actually fly in ground effect?
you could make like a Star Wars intro, with all the website rules, you know
I absolutely love the looks of the sorceress. it just looks like speed
a german design concept in ww2
Focke-Wulf Triebflügal?
