@TheBroadside Meh, the 105 on it is weak. If you were to load HEAT then maybe. maybe through some super-duper-giga-mega miracle you could do some damage.
Quite a shame this tank is weak. A small buff to its pen would do quite a lot.
@ErvenDynamics Saw that one too! I'm thinking of building something that was shown in the trailer. It's a small build, though, nothing too special about it.
@FlyingThings What's this? :)
If you were refering to the B-2 then no thanks. I've got the original already. As I said, haven't touched it for more than a year already.
@FlyingThings I still know it. It was inspired by this image. And I'm glad I was able to inspire others through my work :)
I suspect some others in regards to this, but let's not expand the subject :)
I did let go from me in the case of this plane as I do not intend to update it. However, I decided not long ago to continue the process of updating and remastering some of my older planes such as the Horten 229 or the Strauss. The B-2 was going to be my next but, due to this minor incident, I guess I'll have to do something else. Still a remaster, though.
Ok, this one can stay.
I see you've got some of my builds so (hopefully) you might have some others too.
Do you happen to have an AMX 50 100? It's a French tank with an oscillating turret (looks kinda goofy, it's painted in blue)
@FlyingThings
Functionality: 6.75/10
Why this low?
* The tank can't go backwards. You set the engine to work on Throttle rather than Pitch. -1
* The wheels seem to turn rather weird. -0.5
* Was expecting, judging by the visual design, to have some sort of hydraulic suspension (being able to lower the wheels and such). Not a big issue, though. -0.25
* Seems to be unstable when driving both on-road and off-road. It almost made it to the top of the bigger hill on Bandit. Remember, almost. -0.75
* Wasn't expecting the mini turret to be linked to Pitch/Roll. Rather, I'd have the bigger turret linked to AG1 and the mini turret to AG2 and both use the VTOL/Trim combo. -0.75
Rather low, to be honest. The traction could've been improved a lot.
@BogdanX
Really, did it? That'd be cool!
But if you do add them back, it would be nice to also add them while in-game like birds chirping when near a plane or possibly some wind blowing. There's lots of ambient sounds they could add.
To be honest, WWI aircraft are kinda boring. They're slow and you can't really do stunts with them.
You could try your luck with making monoplanes from WWI or even fictional ones that would fit in that time period.
Propeller pitch is actually really helpful for making helicopters.
That's really the only major application of it.
You can set it to manual and then set the propeller pitch on Throttle or leave it on VTOL (always manual, remember)
@CWhat016 Actually I think it's possible. More like a proof of concept rather than fully implemented on some creation but I think it works just like a tank suspension.
People seem to be lazy and don't bother to make an account. It's really hard to create an account, you know? Setting up an email adress for it is hell on earth.
And yes, I think there's quite many creations around here that have like 10 upvotes and 26863388 downloads.
When building tanks, you always start out by building the hull.
You usually make a turret by first building its base shape and then place it on a rotator. Then, you select the rotator AND the turret with all their pieces and nudge them so that it will all roughly look like a tank.
From here on, you can add a gun (or guns), MGs, different details like buckets, lodges, tools, boxes and such and, of course, wheels.
The thing about the wheels is to always make them tractor ones as they seem to have the best traction on both soft and rough terrain.
I recently made a tutorial on how to make a tank cannon. Remember that you will have to place it on a rotator so that it can elevate.
I recommend you to check out some of my recent tanks as they are good examples of tank builds. Sadly, you can't add tracks so you'll be stuck with tanks that can go as fast as 190 mph.
You don't need to post them all as unlisted.
If you've got an Android tablet, then things are really easy. You only need to navigate to the game files (which are located in Android/data/com.Jundroo or something like that), find the AircraftDesigns folder and create a copy of it.
If you're on iOS then yeah... you can only upload them as unlisted.
It's close to the Ice Base.
You first want to go to Avalanche Airport. From there on, you must take something that works both on land and water. I recommend you first fly around the Ice Base and look in the water below it. There should be the Docking Bay.
Now, after you saw where it is, take your boat and sail to it. Be careful as you might run into some ice spikes along the way. Plus, the space around there is really tight.
If you ever fancy flying around in some badass German jets then look no further cause I got plenty of them :)
Feel free to ask for help whenever you need.
@MechWARRIOR57 Probably due to having no vertical stabilization?
Mine doesn't either but considering their tech in-game (all sorts of robots and superweapons that are futuristic even for us today), I think there is some sort of device that keeps it from destabilizing. If we were to build one with our tech, I don't think it would make it any farther than possibly a few meters before rolling over.
@MechWARRIOR57 I mean, it works on the same principle like the one in TNO but adapted to real life physics and such. The one in TNO looks cool and all that but it wouldn't even be able to take off.
@DestinyAviation After reading a bit more about it there seems to have been a 234A version made for recon but there was also a prototype V7 with four Jumo 004 engines. This V7, in particular, was the first jet aircraft ever to have flown a recon mission.
Ok, so most people around here seem to use rocket pods and bombs for the guns. Well, I disagree with this. Why?
-Rockets have potato velocity and can be fired one after the other without much of a delay. Do tank guns fire every 1 second or so?
-Bombs are limited to 7 AG (8 is always active). 7 bombs on a tank are pretty much useless. Plus, these ones too can be fired in an even quicker succession.
This is why I always use wing guns as tank guns. How? Simple.
1. Take a fuselage inlet and modify it as you wish. After you're done with playing around with its dimensions you can use rescaling to make it longer or thicker (it's that little touch of finesse)
2. Add a structural panel and attach a wing gun to it.
Now, here comes the fun part. From here on, XML modding is mandatory.
Rescale the gun so that it nicely fits within that barrel. I recommend aligning its tip with the tip of the inlet so that the fire particles will come up where they should (aka the tip of the barrel).
Next, you want to start editing the gun parameters. ammoCount is useless. Doesn't do anything. burstCount sets a number of bullets that are fired within a single burst. In our case, it's 1 (unless the gun is an autoloader) timeBetweenBursts does exactly what it says on the tin. muzzleVelocity is the speed at which shells fly in m/s. roundsPerSecond is the rate of fire of that gun in rds/s. Also determines the dps (damage per second) potential. bulletWeightKg is the weight of that bullet in kilograms. bulletCaliber is a useless parameter. For realism, you could modify it if you really want to. spread is defined as a value which can deviate the trajectory of the bullet. This is what we call 'accuracy'. Usually, tank guns range from 0.12 (modern tanks) to as much as 1.03. activationGroup exactly what it says it is. tracerColor is the color of the tracers in HEX code which looks something like RRGGBB (red, green and blue).
That's it. Remember to disable collisions on all parts that might come into contact with the gun/shells from it. You can add different things like bore extractors or muzzle brakes if you want. Also, just as a nice touch, paint the interior of the gun in pitch black. How? Scroll down to the bottom of the XML file and find the colors. Then, when you find black (which is 000000 I think), you will see it has the r, m and s parameters. Whatever they are, change them to s=0, r=2 and m=0. Play around with them but remember that you should get that specific nuance of black. I highly recommend that you should check out my tanks to get a better idea of what I'm talking about.
@BananaBoat33
@BogdanX It's a lot easier to determine the distance your plane will fly taking into account fuel consumption, total fuel and speed while at a certain altitude. This is what I did to a few of my planes now.
Finally a mod that allows me to accurately calculate all the numbers and predict the performance of an aircraft much better. Seriously, it was the seventh plain in hell to try and convert from Imperial to Metric units and vice-versa. Now it'll be so much easier.
@BogdanX Had the Reich survived the war, a power struggle would've surely happened between the top ranking Nazis like Himmler, Göring or even Goebbels.
Of all three, Goebbels was the guy that, behind the scenes, trained Hitler to be the speaker that he was.
The only 'real' things that united the Nazis were hatred for Jews and the revival of Germany as a superpower. Both happened but, thankfully, only for a short period of time.
We could say that Mussolini was also an excellent public speaker (just like Hitler was) but there are few videos showing Il Duce holding a speech. Frankly, he was speaking German, while Hitler didn't even bother to learn a few Italian words. Yet, as we know, from a leader that wanted the best for his people and was seeking revenge against the former Entente powers that betrayed Italy during WWI he drifted to the opposite direction, essentially becoming yet another Nazi puppet.
@MaximusTheMinimus Maywar seems like it's the best place for wind testing. Big, open space. No disadvantage, really.
Also a great place to test out small boats and stuff like that due to that huge gulf whose water barely has a few feet in depth.
I guess it's time for some bias amphibious machine))))))
Pee-tee sebenteeh-sex gud tenk komrade))) sekrit dokumints state dat it kan baunce stronk 120 mm bullets coming from filthy kapitalist tenks))
@Toast That's the whole purpose of the bombs! Forget about bombing bridges or anything else.
It's quite a lot of fun when in multiplayer you can drop the bombs on the runway and people run over them :D Really, this thing is a good terrorist. At least he tells you about the bombs lol
Jokes aside, it can do some dive bombing. Just be careful not to crash as it handles like a turbo potato that was ripped from a 9GAG post (aka not too great).
@TheBroadside The Jumbo with the stock turret? That's OP af. Second strongest turret in the game after the T32 I think.
@RailfanEthan I'm glad you like it :)
Have you tried it out yet?
@TheBroadside Meh, the 105 on it is weak. If you were to load HEAT then maybe. maybe through some super-duper-giga-mega miracle you could do some damage.

@helilover03 They did. Yes, it's true.
@ErvenDynamics Saw that one too! I'm thinking of building something that was shown in the trailer. It's a small build, though, nothing too special about it.
@ErvenDynamics Yup :DD

@Ian1231100 :D
Cheers man. I'm glad you like it :)
Tbh, 1 seems a lot cooler.
This is gonna get at least 25 upvotes cause 'Murica.
@NathanMikeska Only mods I use are Overload, Fine Tuner and MP. The lag occured when I wasn't connected to any server.
@mushr0om I noticed them both before and after the update.

I think it's x0.25 the normal speed. It may be x0.1 but I'm not sure. In amy case, clearly under x0.5

+1I think they periodically refresh the servers or maybe close the website for some maintenance work. I did experience this a few times (Romania)

You just run the .spmod file. It's as simple as that.
And yes, there is a mod out there that shows you data in metric units.
It's the game engine. Essentially, when a bullet hits a part, it destroys it as a whole. Yep, there are no bullets holes.

@MechWARRIOR57 It is inspired by that. Not entirely, though, as the heli depicted in TNO wouldn't work IRL.
@DestinyAviation This is the 234B variant which was supposed to be a bomber.
@Alienbeef0421 Exactly the same thing. You can still fire it unrealistically quick.
Ok, so most people around here seem to use rocket pods and bombs for the guns. Well, I disagree with this. Why?

Looks and handles quite good. One thing though: the engine exhausts are deformed and look extremely weird.
