It's not an Experimental design. It's just a fake tank that was first made by some Japanese modeler.
There is no known drawing of a possible JgPz E-100. There was, however, a project for a Sturmgeschutz auf E-75.
@ForeverPie That's BS. There's no law in Europe that prohibits kids under 13 or any other age to navigate and be active on a website/in a community. The only exception that I know of is Facebook (anyone under 14 cannot make an account; more like a formal rule cause almost everyone and their pet start using it before reaching 14).
Oh well, I guess it's awesome for the American kids :)))
A few things to note:
1. The T-54/55 tanks had 100 mm of upper frontal hull armor angled at 60* vertically. This gave them close to 200 mm of effective armor.
2. The 120 mm muzzle brake could be fitted to a 122mm gun but it would fly off as soon as the shell would leave the barrel. Yes, it's only 2 mm more but it's still enough for the shell to not fit through it.
3. Also, that turret seems to have been based on the AMX 50 100 that I built a long time ago. Do you still have it? If so, could you reupload it? I deleted mine :(
Overall, the story seems interesting. Will test the tank later.
@AdrianFlyingAce That's what I initially thought of but couldn't get the hull shape right. So I then tried to make the Char 50t B but terribly failed at making the gun mantlet.
Let's hope I'll get the shapes right :)
@BogdanX I tried doing that but it became a race car (literally). So I had to give it a +0.75/-0.25 max/min limit. It's still high but at least it won't run around like a Ferrari.
I really don't get it how power is distributed. If the engine has like 100 HP, do these 100 HP get evenly distributed among all connected wheels or are they 100 HP/wheel? It seems to be the latter which is lame, to be honest.
@BogdanX Mods won't allow iOS plebs to download it... cause, you know, let's buy an iPhone cause it looks good! Who cares if you can't do jack shit on it and mess around with the files? It's good for selfies so that's totally OK!
And yes, we need more than just a heavy gun.
@BogdanX I always use wing guns as I can modify them as I wish. I can modify caliber (this doesn't matter much though), shell weight, speed, bullets/clip, reload and so on. Rockets are extremely slow and bombs can be fired one after the other without any sort of delay. Plus, this would limit the total ammo count to a maximum of 8 or a multiple of 6, taking away the realism (speed and handling are already unrealistic so keep at least this as realistic as possible).
As for the cockpit inside the barrel... well, fine, maybe next time.
@MrVaultech Me too. I was, at one time, considering to at least try and finish half of it but I quickly lost interest.
By the way, WWII RP might be coming back. Just saying ;)
You sure that's an L/28? To me it looks like an L/42. The L/24 (this is the one that you probably thought of) was a 75mm low-velocity gun made specifically to counter infantry attacks.
Other than that, they look pretty cool! :)
Edit: Oh, and the 75mm Kwk 42 is actually an L/70 (the one used on the Panther and the very few JgPz. IV)
A duel between this and the E-50B would be interesting, as it seems both entered service around 1945.
Also, is the story somewhat inspired by the WWII RP that was shut down almost a year ago? That war ended in 1951/1952 too.
@TheLatentImage I'm glad you like it! Just recently decided to stay away from fantasy stuff and started building tanks that did exist.
Anyways, this was one of my long-term projects. Someone asked me if I could make it back when I still had my old account.
Oh, and good luck with deleting nonsense posts. You gotta have lots of patience for that ;)
I liked the cursor quite a lot. It added just that finishing touch that most videos don't have. Hell, it was more beautiful than all the stuff featured in the video. Also, Asuf was quite an interesting guy there. Pitty we could only see him at the end.
Now, onwards to the serious stuff.
Except for the minor mistakes which I think no-one else (other than me) has spotted them and the lag, it was quite a good video. I gave a thumbs up for encouragement but, in the future, keep in mind a few things:
1. MC Win 10 sucks. It's literally MCPE for PC. Plus, modding on it isn't as advanced as on the PC edition. You could've used Paolo's Lagless shaders, for instance.
2. While this doesn't refer to stuff in general, the rockets on my tank were meant to be smoke grenades. As I couldn't use the Smoke Grenades mod because iOS users would not be able to download it, I had to create something similar to them. The best I could come up with was a few rescaled rockets.
3. Thoroughly check your videos before uploading. The two minor mistakes (the cursor showing up and the few grammar mistakes) could be easily avoided.
Overall, I quite liked it. Yes, it was super laggy, but the plot seemed pretty good. While I'm not a big fan of pitting old vs new stuff (like WWII stuff against futuristic thingies), this one was ok.
I give it a 9.5/10 as there is some room for improvements, especially when it comes to rendering. :)
There's only one thing that I'm not too fond of: the chassis.
Anything that's below the casematte looks like it was squeezed hard by some giant that stepped on it.
Other than that, it looks sort of cool. High part count, so I'll have to test it on my computer.
@JMicah4 Why not. But I advise you to wait a bit more as I currently intend to make a comparison between this and the Tiger II (the closest thing to it).
With that, I should also solve the problem with the description of it.
Yep, you totally get my permission to use it. This applies to anyone else as long as you give at least the minimum credit (aka the name of who created it).
@Blackout529 I'm not that willing to do that at the moment. School and stuff like that gets in the way.
I can take build requests, but don't expect to see them the next day. I might start building it now and finish it a month later. Not that it's hard, but there's very little spare time to do anything other than school.
@Feanor No, totally not possible
101k*
Btw, congratz \o/
Quacky quack
Such peaceful purposes.
+1@TheTekkit101 that's beeeeeeeeeetter.
@ForeverPie lol
Us, Europeans, don't celebrate anymore. Immigrants do it for us
@DestinyAviation Dat rear... dese exhaust pipes...
Hmmmmm

@TheTekkit101 Some? Just "some"?
@Zandgard Much better :)
You uploaded this three times already.

@MrVaultech It's a tank, not a plane.
It has an oscillating turret.

@Othwane "Viva la France!" :)

@BogdanX Took your advice into consideration now ;)
Oh, the nuke launcher... before the nerf, THIS was the real arty. Could oneshot you from across the map while staying hidden in who-knows-where.
Awesome! :>

@BogdanX There was a cockpit on the turret but I then replaced it at the front. It was inside the red flashlight.
@KDS No problem :)
@MrVaultech Me too. I was, at one time, considering to at least try and finish half of it but I quickly lost interest.

I should really continue building the Me 264. It's been almost a year since I last worked on it.

Placed on the watchlist.

@Pilotmario It's a 57-ton heavy (here, it's got close to 58).
One tonne less can make a big difference.
@BogdanX It's a heavy tank. It has a 700 hp engine strapped to a nearly 57-ton tank, so don't expect to do police turns with it.
@JMicah4 TeamExtreme
Aaaagh... AAAAAAAGH... I can feel the tumors growing on my back. Mmmmmph, hell, I can really feel them..

@Valkyrie :(
Volvo should buy one of these.
Wait, is this the VAC gun? Could I borrow one for when I meet smurfs and hackers?
@ChaMikey Alternate history. There was an E-50 project. It was close to being produced but the war ended (the real-life war, not this fictional one).
@ChaMikey "should be immediately put into mass production."
You can guess that, until 1947, they exclusively produced this thing.
@ChaMikey Actually, the E-50B passed the tests. Read the last paragraph.
@pixelconcqueror The problem is the hull. It's too short.
You could go to tanks.gg and check out the Obj 268 model there.
@ChaMikey "Why did the KT then?"
Wait, what? Could you rephrase that?
@XjayIndustrys Thanks :)

Very slow, indeed.
