@TwoTurboMan I haven't had a lot of time to work on it but there has been some progress
The landing gear are in place but are still unfinished and the body is more or less done
I do want to post another devblog soon
For air screenshots with two aircraft in the air, load up a custom race with the desired aircraft. As soon you both get your gear up, pause the game and take your screenshot. OR you can spawn the AI in sandbox mode, try to form up on them, and hope for the best.
If you want them on the ground, first drive to the position where you want the other plane to be and save the spawn location. Then, make a version of that plane with disabled engines, landing gear, and controll surfaces. Spawn it at the location you saved and taxi over there for the screenshot.
@Spitfirelad05 I also did it on my F-14D
@PriusCat Since this is a late F-14A, no. At that point, most tomcats had them welded shut or removed. But I am thinking about doing a separate early F-14A, which would have them.
@Speedhunter Mostly yes
I use an artificial mass block, so it makes it really easy to tweak the COM and figure out where it should be. But in the end, I add mass to the actual aircraft.
@Graingy They do have 0 drag and it seems to not cause problems for me at least
The only weirdness that comes with it is that the COM is higher than it should be because the mass block is on top
@Graingy It makes them easier to access, otherwise I'd have to zoom inside the plane or use the connections tab
I also have a temporary unlimited fuel block and an artificial mass block on the outside (So it's easy to delete) so I can do flight tests before adding proper fuel and weight
@Mousewithamachinegun122 Some of the moving parts are temporarily on the outside for easy access, so I don't have to fiddle with the camera as much I have too many bad memories of moving the camera inside an aircraft, accidently moving something I shouldn't have, and then losing progress when I undo
This the main reason why explosionScale=0.5 still isn't enough to stop complete destruction of the crafts. If you test some of the clean loadouts, it's not as much of an issue. I can't think of a way around it though.
@ThatKindaWeeb It's gonna be Russian weapons
If the MKK was made compatible I think that would be a pretty recent development and it would probably be more appropriate for something like a J-16
There is no war in Ba Sing Se
+6Based intake design
@FineG22 Yes, they will be there some time before the F-14 release or when it releases
+1Low parts also means you can spawn more of them at the same time without lagging as much
+1@Th3Missil3 Sure, no problem
@Th3Missil3 I planned on doing one loadout for special variants, so it's not planned
@TwoTurboMan I don't have a solid release date planned at the moment
SimplePlanes +1
We've done it lads, we've achieved PEAK part efficiency
+6Well.
This is news
BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE LETSSSS GO
I know this wasn't easy to implement, thanks devs.
Pretty much any time you want something to oscillate/cycle
I also used it on my Abrams to know where the turret is facing
Armor-Piercing: ???
Fin-Stabilized: yes
Discarding Sabot: no
@Th3Missil3 There's no plans at the moment
+1@CallsignTig The more, the merrier :)
+1@TheCommentaryGuy I always have to make compromises since I use default nozzles, but this came out a lot better than i thought it would

If development of the Fw-190 continued, one could only imagine how much longer it would've gotten
+1Besiege: medieval war weapons
+3Reality: F-22 Raptor
The Fresno Nightcrawler
+2@FlirBlitz I heard about this from another person as well
It's a war server right? I'm guessing the units have to be original builds?
@Speedhunter @FlirBlitz Project Wingman: 👀
+1KV-2-2-2 isn't real, it can't hurt you

@TwoTurboMan I'm thinking of doing the VF-2 scheme from the 1980's

@ThatKindaWeeb It might be connections
Try deleting certain bits and see what else comes off with it
@Graingy They do have 0 drag and it seems to not cause problems for me at least

@TheCommentaryGuy It appears so :)

Oh hey it's my F-15 :)
+1Does it have any variables? Those also need to be transferred over
+2You're Raiden
+3He's Raiden
I'M RAIDEN
Are there any other Raidens I should know about?
@LunarEclipseSP Sorry bout that
+3Battlestations Pacific 100% based though
@LunarEclipseSP Ah yes
+2A woman of culture I see
@Gady13131 That's just the tag I put on my aircraft so I know which is mine
G4 is for the 4th gen of the standard/style I'm building in
@Gady13131 NWS is nosewheel steering and NWS high increases the steering angle to 90 degrees, so you can turn sharper while taxiing on a carrier deck

+1@TheAviator77 Thanks for the correction
Checkmate, I'm in your walls
+2@Erc90F4RU All good :)
you should probably use [JPN] instead...
That tag is technically a slur :/
You would've loved Microsoft Office when it didn't have autosave back in the day :)
