@SkyJayTheFirst What you are referring to is high angle of attack.
In my experience, it can be achieved by making liftScale on wings =~1 and making the leading edge extensions generate lift with hidden wings.
Smaller control surfaces should help, but it will make your plane less maneuverable. Or you can try giving stabilized control surfaces a try if you don't want to sacrifice maneuverability. (Roll)+(RollRate/100*((-abs(Roll)+1)/1)) (Pitch)-(PitchRate/100*((-abs(Pitch)+1)/1)) (Yaw)-(YawRate/50*((-abs(Yaw)+1)/1))
@BestBuilderEverNOCAP I will admit to being a bit of an F-111 fan. Maybe EF-111
@Ihavesnowball The values for the pitch FT and energy retention FT were slightly changed.
@rexzion I put a torque cancelling system for the rotary engine since it became uncontrollable when rotating at full speed
.
I had issues with it before but that might've completely removed it actually
Although I guess its easier to take off now :v
@MrShenanigansSP Thanks, I did use Baconeggs' blueprints :v
@UmbrellaCorporation The engines have the correct amount of thrust. These are TF30's, the F-14A was called the worst engine to airframe mismatch for a reason. Although, if taking off is hard, you're probably pulling up too early

+1"Abandoned at an air force museum outside of Moscow is a relic of a machine that looks like it came from outer space. Designed 50 years ago by an eccentric visionary, it was to be the most versatile flying machine ever built. An aircraft that can take off vertically, hover in mid air, land on any surface, cruise at high altitudes, and harness the ground effect. But the story of this remarkable machine and its inventor are still shrouded in mystery."

+1IAS/343 will give you mach at sea level.
