Game dev is hard, hence making a new feature needs a lot of research and development, that's why it's always a slow process. SimplePlanes is not like those trash 0 effort free mobile games that churn out updates once a month. Sure, you may get many updates, but each one is worthless. What I feel is that when the SP devs want to make a new update, they want to do it right.
And yes, the devs have heard every single one of your comments, both on here and on User Voice, and of course they know what features you all want. But here's the thing: will you say that you'll build a mansion when you don't even have land to build it on? No!
Likewise, the SP devs cannot guarantee any features with certainty right now, because reality is always unexpected. Like I said, R&D takes a while, and I believe that they're in that stage right now. Hence, they're not gonna announce anything yet. What if the devs announce a new feature, only to admit later that it doesn't work, and they can't release it? I bet that you guys would be much more upset about this!
And FYI, Andrew has recently said the equivalent of “we’re working on it”, but contrary to your point, it has not shut everyone up.
@DeadlyDialga also, can I know what time (and time zone, so I can calculate) are you and most people usually active? When I join multiplayer at 11.00p.m. GMT+7, there are only a handful of players inside, and none of which I recognise.
(Although, I managed to meet JP11 in multiplayer once and landed on his WIP airport)
@AlivePan lol
I mean, even though I use a lot of text labels, I still use fuselages for cheat lines, stripes and tail curves. It’s just that a lot of modern liveries (which I’m focusing on) don’t have all these.
Also I’m redesigning my airline’s livery; I haven’t told anyone else yet
@Sense2 it already has flaps that are controlled by VTOL. Personally I'd recommend setting the mass scale of all fuselages to 0.5, but I'm just the test pilot lol
@Dragoranos yeah, I can see Juno as being the spiritual successor of SP.
I myself have been blown away by what Juno has to offer, but I haven’t switched over because:
Juno is still marketed as a rocket game, even though you can make planes, and thus the Juno plane community is really small. The airliner community is even smaller than that, so I don’t feel motivated to join.
I’ve heard that building in Juno is completely different, and I don’t really want to relearn building, although it wouldn’t be that hard.
Juno doesn’t have fuselage smoothing (which is one of the things that makes us better).
Also, to add fuel to the fire: Juno just launched their 1.1 update.
@DatRoadTrainGuy19 I just haven’t found a good time to play multiplayer, since I have school throughout most of the day and I’d rather spend time building
@Robomo119DerMustangKiller mods can post aircraft, upvote stuff and follow people, but from what I know, a moderator has to be over 18, be active on Discord and of course, can resolve conflicts without getting involved in them.
@ToeTips that reminds me, one of the mods on Juno made a 747 that had over 100,000 parts. It literally has a red download button, and is tagged with “Mobile-Deadly”.
@sharkpuppet808 obvious answer is the Boeing B-52. (just kidding lol)
From what I’ve seen though, the Boeing 747 and Airbus A380 are the planes that people like most, simply because they’re really big.
Probably because people like ColonelCanada got mad at users for posting off-topic stuff in the forums...
+1I’ve addressed this yesterday:

+1There’s nothing wrong with small planes; on many occasions they can turn out to perform much better than large planes
+1If you’re willing to let your FPS drop to 1, then sure.
