@Hyattorama link it was a mass issue, certain parts were too light and breaking, also, in general you want to attach wings to fuselage pieces and fuselage pieces to hinges. Try to avoid attaching wings to hinges as the hinges aren't as stable. Check out my XF-14 for some techniques on doing folding wings and transformations. Pay attention to how the mass is set on parts in order to get good stability. I also recommend setting all mass and power levels manually, I only use the fine tuner to physically scale the object and set all the parameters myself to avoid this type of thing.
@Hyattorama sound like a mass issue. Are you using the fine tuner to scale it, try not scaling the mass or engine power. Also, it'll be late tonight, I forgot I have class monday nights now. Should be a simple matter to get this sorted for you though.
@plane918273645 he's only 800 ahead of you (as of this post). And it's against the rules to advertise your work on other people's. If you made something that was intended to be used along side his that would be one thing. Or even if it was a successor, but your in direct competition with him so, kinda rude. And people will spotlight or upvote for all kinds of reasons. Most of us try to spotlight lower accounts specifically to be encouraging. As far as being featured goes that's essentially a similar situation to being spotlighted, only the devs do it. Frankly, your version is very similar in appearance to the original and so it doesn't stand out as much. This is a much more drastic redesign imo. If you want to stand out more, try coming up with a more unique design and don't make a successor to something that has 1900+ successors already, that will rarely get much notice. Hope this helps to clear things up, there is more info on the forums if you want further tips on getting noticed.
@CSP27 no, the controls that makes the plane roll one direction don't correspond correctly with the direction the elevators and vtol pivot. It's not a control thing left is left, right is right. Left elevator should pitch positive and right should pitch negative to roll right. But they do the opposite. I don't remember if the pitch up and down was correct, it's been a minute.
@suzutuki65 I have, and do create my own planes, I also play with other peoples and make improvements that I feel make them more fun to fly. If you want I will happily take this down, you have that right as the original author. The difference for me is I want to actually fly and have fun playing the plane and not everyone's planes have a gameplay goal in mind. There are many planes that are far more technically accurate than anything that I have done and thats fine. I'm ultimately just doing what is fun for me and hope everyone is doing the same. Reguarding your challenge, I'm actually taking a big step back from sp in the design front, as it is becoming an obsession and unhealthy for my marriage. I'll be much more casual going forward so will not be a very good opponent for you I think. I'll think about it though and let you know if things change. I do very much hold you and your abilities in high regard and was in no way intending to imply that either of our versions is better than each other. I wanted things different than you, thats all. I hope you don't feel I was over stepping on this, best wishes.

You can do that within the game. Grab a scaled cp and attach its bottom to the detacher. Attach the dummy to the back of the cp. Use the tweak tool to reorient the dummy and nudge em into place. Attach the assembly to wherever. Done
@Minecraftpoweer yeah regardless of what the mass is set to the game deducts fuel at 1 mass per quantity. So make sure you test your designs down to low fuel, Ive had to make adjustments because the com shifted too much on an empty tank.
So it actually only takes 3 infernos to sink the destroyers, just have to be patient while it slowly sinks as he will go down shooting. Also I have found in testing my plane that when spinning out of control falling from high altitudes, if you fold the wings you can recover, not sure if that works here, but just a thought.
@Baldovino I'm happy to check it out and give feedback as always. But as previously stated you already got a do over, so to be fair to the others I wont be considering it a submission. Unless everyone else says that their ok with it. I'll let you know what I think tonight. Looks dangerous.
How are you able to scale this if you're on ios?
+1test

+1@colonelstriker thanks!
@CSP27 its all good, was just leaving feedback. No worries. Plane on :)
@Hyattorama I'll check it out tonight, what needs fixing?

+5@CSP27 I don't like the 45° thing, messes with game play.

@Tacocat16 right on, post pictures when you finish.
Very cool!
+1@Avro683Lancaster well maybe my plane was too heavy.
I love bacon.
So like a rocket booster. I've tried this before and if I remember right there wasn't enough thrust to be useful even at like 1e^500000

People tend to upvote stuff that makes them laugh
Sweet beans
Shouldn't it have a / like A/F-18? Or does it matter
Hello
@Billythekidusa04 glad you like it
@Nerfenthusiast no. All of the steps are in the default game.
Strap it to your laptop for gpu cooling
@DerekSP you may be right on the cpu, but 512mb of memory is crippling imo
The vulcan had a range of 2.8 kilometers? I smell a typo

+1I still say expanding memory limit, cpu threads and unlock fps.
+2It was probably @Dllama
J/k

If it has 0 mass then the plane will get lighter as tge fuel is used fyi
+2Looks very nice.
Does it shoot baguettes? 😂
+4So you want an arbitrary vote? D2 I guess

@InternationalAircraftCompany lol
@ChaMikey Feel free to use any of my work. Thanks
@Awsomur You're just too funny.
Great work turned out really nice.
I really shouldn't
@Baldovino I'm grading it tonight
What about rotors with wings used as props?
Watch this end up with more upvotes than my planes XD
+1@robloxweponco cool. Feel free to post it for everybody
@FastDan ;)
@robloxweponco ok, Ill see how much more fat I can trim. . .
@DaKraken yes, you can adjust the max speed with [maxvelocity] and the acceleration with [input]
@tsampoy this has nothing to do with that. Dont beat youself up.
@Hyattorama I dont know. @Tully2001
@DaKraken Adjust thr max velocity and input.
