@Valiant2017 Constructive criticism is always welcome, but yeah the rear alignment of everything was basically so it could actually lift up from the water, took me a few days to actually get it to work haha. Then the turret sensitivity is because it keeps the camera centered, if it was lower the camera would be off centered the farther you go from center, it’s kinda a thing to get used to, but thank you for the feedback
@PapaKernels yeah everyone does that, but I love watching the pistons spinning on rotary engines and how loud they are from a lack of an exhaust, since you can’t have one really when the piston is spinning a couple hundred revolutions per minute
@Sakorsky just the look of the engine, like the pistons and crank case and all that, so you can use a normal engine with prop for power but have to make your own engine around it
Really nice build, the trapeze is better than any of mine, and nice touch with the Jericho Trumpets. Ratings will be done when I grade all aircraft, but good work. P.S. if you haven’t gotten the Stuka book by Military Aviation History I would invest in it
Well spent my time building a plane that I really enjoyed and about to post, then realized it said fighter, and I built a carrier based bomber, well at least it still has the single engine

Flight is a little wonky, the yaw axis swings a bit in high maneuvers, but really detailed, especially the ejecting cases, and not many Czech designs out there either which is unique.
Got to love the unique ones, also the props were different, the front one was a constant speed and the rear one was constant pitch, just to make it even weirder
@PapaKernels the Wankel engine and the rotary engine I’m talking about are really different, something like the Le Rhône, Überosel U9, Gnome engines of WWI
Are you going to use random distance or use a specific distance for the dogfights? Because at long distance it’s basically the two planes going towards each other and not really dogfighting
Appreciate it, at least I get to explore Japan a little bit, which is also why I have been making Japanese planes lately because it inspires me being here@WinsWings
Got to say, pretty good design, and have fun dogfighting against my Sea Venger, one thing is that a carrier plane would have the wings fold, except the A-4, but that’s an exception, and the tail hook hits the drop tank as it lowers, but besides that great cockpit and nice look, and good flyer
I have a random canopy that I can’t find in my building area that pops up as I test my plane, is there a way to find it because it’s constantly dropping on my plane and a bit off putting
The F4U Corsair is one of my favorite aircraft, and so is the A6M “Zero”, and kinda looks like you smashed the 2 together lol. Was quite a good flyer, and landing was pretty nice, although the tail wheel kinda gave some issues while taxiing where it’ll stop the plane if you turn it too far, but other than that, pretty good design. I also liked the folding horizontal stabilizers too
A nice smooth flyer, I do enjoy the light attack concept for aircraft, although I have to say the tail drag configuration is weird for a “modern” aircraft, especially for carriers where all fixed wing aircraft today use a tricycle stance to have a catapult connection in the front for launches, even if not needed, but either way I still like it. Also kinda weird having the Gatling guns on the wings sticking out like that, usually it’s in the body of the aircraft or on Gun pods, but it’s fine the way you have it.
Since I haven’t devised a point system yet and won’t reveal points until the end, I’ll give pros and cons: Pros-Really cool and unique design, landed the carrier first try, I like the inverted wings, I can see it being somewhat realistic. Cons- the gap between the wing and fuselage is a little unsightly, and taxiing is slightly difficult when you throttle up and instantly goes 20 mph lol. But I like the details, also a nice backstory to how and why it was designed would be nice
I’m almost halfway done with testing, and it’s taking longer than expected lol, but so far I’ve gotten some interesting results, and some expected ones as well. Hopefully will be done soon.
It’s quite the smooth flyer with a nice amount of guns, we’ll see how well it does in the dogfighting against the other competition, but so far so good@GeneralPatrick2
An interesting take on AEW, it’s like an E-2, but not as scary lol, but was actually able to land perfectly first try, although I nearly flew off again while taxiing because I throttled too much, but definitely an awesome design
Hmmm, well my biases toward hating being around them in real life shouldn’t affect the challenge, so go ahead, the armament requirement for that will be ignored @Cabbage17
Honestly I have more knowledge of military aircraft than anything else, but the description is more for humor either way, but now I’m interested in seeing it though@ssenmodnar

+2Really nice radial engine, and awesome back story too, and also not unrealistic for the perceived era it represents
+2@PapaKernels yeah everyone does that, but I love watching the pistons spinning on rotary engines and how loud they are from a lack of an exhaust, since you can’t have one really when the piston is spinning a couple hundred revolutions per minute
+2@LieutenantSOT if you can make it look like a conceivable thing go ahead, sounds like a really cool and creative concept
+2@Sakorsky just the look of the engine, like the pistons and crank case and all that, so you can use a normal engine with prop for power but have to make your own engine around it
+2Should be able get it online, basically the entire doctrine translated to English @Raiquaza19AirComp

+2Are allies to these nations allowed? Like say Britain or Vietnam, etc.? Or only America and Soviet Union?

+2@GeneralPatrick2 @Cabbage17 @SimplyPlain
+2@CheckOneTwo can be heavy fighters as well, as long as it’s a 20s or 30s design

@Shebke as long as it can run on my phone is all that matters, my builds usually go up to the 400 mark so it should be fine
+1@WinsWings and @TheMouse you guys are awesome, thanks so much
+1@Kenzar appreciate the rating, looks like there’s room for improvement, see if I have time to make another one
+1Got to love the unique ones, also the props were different, the front one was a constant speed and the rear one was constant pitch, just to make it even weirder
+1@Hannyboy you can have 3 entries
+1@PapaKernels the Wankel engine and the rotary engine I’m talking about are really different, something like the Le Rhône, Überosel U9, Gnome engines of WWI
+1@TWDDerSharkmarine as long as there’s a realistic way to “keep the engine cool”, go ahead, like how the Focke-Wolf had that fan behind the prop
+1Are you going to use random distance or use a specific distance for the dogfights? Because at long distance it’s basically the two planes going towards each other and not really dogfighting
+1I plan on it, especially since most of the planes here are no where else@WinsWings
+1Appreciate it, at least I get to explore Japan a little bit, which is also why I have been making Japanese planes lately because it inspires me being here@WinsWings
+1Would be awesome to see what you think of lol@WinsWings
+1Could enter that one or build something new, not looking for it to be a successor just want to see the best ones@Raiquaza19AirComp
+1Appreciate the help, hopefully there’s some good ones@WinsWings
+1Well not every concept is a winner lol, but appreciate the kind words@Souplane
+1Kinda looks like the A5M Claude, Jiro Horikoshi would be proud
+1Would have to modify it a bit, tops at around 145 mph in level flight, which is kinda slow@20190244
+1Thanks, I noticed how all the other ones didn’t use the engine at all@WinsWings
+1Hope you don’t mind all my entries being carrier based, seems like I’m on a carrier kick recently
+1Got to say, pretty good design, and have fun dogfighting against my Sea Venger, one thing is that a carrier plane would have the wings fold, except the A-4, but that’s an exception, and the tail hook hits the drop tank as it lowers, but besides that great cockpit and nice look, and good flyer
+1Thanks, wanted to try something out of the ordinary, and try something a little more difficult@TheDesignate
+1Are multiple entries allowed btw?
+1Uploaded it anyway, even if it won’t count, I’ll build one that can actually count
+1Never mind, found it

+1Well eventually soon I’m gonna do another similar challenge, with the same grading scale, but don’t know what or when I’ll do it @Galland
+1I’m almost halfway done with testing, and it’s taking longer than expected lol, but so far I’ve gotten some interesting results, and some expected ones as well. Hopefully will be done soon.
+1Yes it’s always cool seeing a stream of tracers all together @GeneralPatrick2
+1Very cool design, and great job with keeping it in the early jet style and not going overboard with it

+1Thanks for using my plane, although you had a rough landing I hope it was at least fun@AtlasSP
+1Due to a prior engagement the due date is extended to August 31st, allows for more time to make better builds
