    Well... let me be frank, are your builds received well?
    Are you investing time into perfecting your builds?
    Do you invest time into crafting a quality description that aptly informs other players of what your build does?
    .
    Adding on, just thinking from a marketing standpoint, in order to make your builds "sell" well you need to prevent oversaturating your build schedule.
    Does Samsung release a new phone every 2 weeks?

    Notes: Activate AG2 immediately after startup.

    Why not set those respective parts to AG8? AG8 turns on by default when you spawn in.

    @DarDragon Oh, the rockets will do damage if they explode near your vehicle. I purposely adjusted the settings on the launchers so that they are just out of range- just be a bit careful when using these! The explosion damage can't be removed ingame.

    @VerldVarIII Ah. A limitation of the game, if you will. The smoke effect lasts only for about 3 to 4 seconds, but is more realistic and lasts for longer than that of a chaff/flare system most people use.

    @ThomasRoderick It's not like I didn't know about that. Chaffs and flares don't create a large or somewhat lasting effect that visually masks a vehicle; they do work as a IR countermeasure, as certain types of irl smoke grenades do, but fail to give the visual effect most people want.

    Yes, I know how ATGMs work, and most gun launched ATGM types (usually SACLOS) are operator guided, which make a visual masking effective, but with IR detection devices this protection is rendered useless as well. The only effective smoke grenades still in modern use are those that mask the vehicle visually, thermally, and disrupt its silhouette effectively.

    @KerlonceauxIndustries Thanks- but it was just a few tweaks here & there! I thought people must feel dissatisfied using chaffs and flares for smoke grenades.

    Edit: Just to say, the chaffs and flare people use for smokes otherwise don't last or give a large enough visual effect to seem like "smoke". That's what I was trying to alleviate with this build.

    @SpiritusRaptor The mod page says it's done by F12, and you have to take your "first screenshot" last, so in reverse order, and press the "share plane" button and they should show up.

    Almost all objects in SP like to explode on high-speed collision with non-plane objects. You can prevent plane part to plane part collision damage through multiple methods, but you aren't going to make this work unless it goes slow enough. I've already tried this concept; it's near impossible to get it to work.

    @Supernovaboss504 Firing mechanism is simple, a lowly builder like me pioneered it and you can make it too. Want me to explain? There are no possible improvements to the magazine design, however. This is literally a box with B25's in it.


    Also, a drum magazine is realistically impossible because it requires a torsion spring. We do not have that component in SP, and is also impossible to "pre-wind", otherwise you would have to load the magazine after you spawn in-game. I commend you for your efforts, but it's important to realize the limitations of the game and work from there.

    Differs from my own and SR's working concepts, but you can try experimenting with that. I can't exactly grasp how SR's one works (unreleased, so you won't know, though) but mine works through pressing a spring with a piston as to give adequate enough pressure for rounds to move up. Simple concept, hard to perfect.

    @drgunblood Mine is closer to a successful prototype, a proof-of-concept if you will. I pionneered the mechanism; SR adjusted it to a more compact and aethetically pleasing version. Although, as far as reliability stands, I believe my version has a lower failure rate.

    Hey- there's no need to be discouraged! I'll always like for anyone to improve on my designs. Also, yours was based off my first one, am I correct? That houses a completely different mechanism from my recent ones, noone has attempted to improve that. Also, I think you'll do a much better job of designing the gun to look like one than I can.

    Quite difficult, considering SP physics engine mechanics. Gravity fed magazine has limited drop speed fixed to 9.81 m/s^2, but bottom up type conventional magzine we're working on has a firing rate equal to the feed rate of the magazine (basically, much higher). Still in development, however.
