  • Small Feature Wish List for v1.11 Update 3.3 years ago

    Increased flexibility in FT #2:
Possibly accessing FT data for specific parts, instead of only the cockpit--perhaps in the form of calling existing variables with the part id, like GForce.id(204) to get data for that part.

  • Small Feature Wish List for v1.11 Update 3.3 years ago

    Increased flexibility in FT #1:
Variables of some form to condense blocks of code
    .
Implementation of this is unclear to me as well, but I would imagine it being some part of the aircraft file's header in the backend, and in the frontend probably some entry field, similar to Overload, where we enter a name for the variable and its contents.
    .
This would allow for this custom variable to be referenced multiple times in inputs of the aircraft, greatly simplifying and modularizing FT code.

Activity of questionable value and taking ample time to produce good content are two different things. The purpose of my "server" is different by nature... not to mention the fact that I never called out whatever server y'all are up to--you're demonstrating ample incapacity in knowing the difference between a generalized statement and an attack on anyone, as you now for whatever reason resort to zero-sum messaging against an uninterested party.
    .
Banding together to try so hard to defend your status doesn't look good on you all either! Try something new. As I said, something of value will have a natural demand to it. This is a general statement on absolutely anything. If I really wanted to call your server or whatever out, I could do that, if you really want me to.

Your supposed anti-LGBT claims are unfounded. You have been specifically calling out an user who clearly was trying to deescalate a situation instigated by another, you repeatedly continue to assail these users regardless. Seems you're new over here, this type of disruptive behavior has never ended well.

Name-calling is generally not acceptable. You have repeatedly called out specific communities and users; this is a general disruption of nominal operation and subject to moderation. Don't expect this to fly well with them, i.e. your post may be subject to removal irrespective of how this community sees LGBTQ rights.

  • Gyroless Realistic Stabilizer (2-plane) - Challenger 2 4.3 years ago

    @11qazxc
    .
Nope, it's the stabilizer doing its job. Besides, the gun itself is limited to from -10º to 20º, so if the ground slope exceeds that value it obviously won't stabilize. The code for the stabilizer has a mathematical formula that's designed to work on slopes. This is done by dividing the PitchAngle correction by the cosine of the RollAngle in order to obtain the correct adjustment using only gun elevation.

You're not wrong in that this becomes problematic at very high angles like 45º, but no MBT I know of has gun handling that goes to such ranges.

Duck is the common name for numerous species in the waterfowl family Anatidae which also includes swans and geese. Ducks are divided among several subfamilies in the family Anatidae; they do not represent a monophyletic group (the group of all descendants of a single common ancestral species) but a form taxon, since swans and geese are not considered ducks. Ducks are mostly aquatic birds, mostly smaller than the swans and geese, and may be found in both fresh water and sea water.

Unfortunately, my paneling skills aren't as good enough, or neither is brute forcing minute increments of rotations and positions well worth my time. By performing calculations, I can ensure that the shape is accurate and no errors are incurred in the process. Besides I can practice some unique geometry I don't really get to touch otherwise, and I also get a kick out of having everything planned out and watching it all click into place. The rod rotation method was attempted actually, but I was quite dissatisfied with the eventual result and resorted to calculation.
Hope that clarifies the reasoning behind my methodology. My aim was to create a perfect (almost) shape. Something as good as a render.
