@SHCow I called it "lighting" because I saw that particular typo WAY too many times while compiling that pesky list I made. Too many fingers missed the "n" key!
@jamesPLANESii Sorry, I'm lazy.
I Just added it. VERY nice piece of work by the way. Its among the very best P-38s on the site in my opinion. I'd give it a 10/10 if the dimensions were correct. I love the handling most of all. Pretty close to realistic.
Added.
I gave it a 5/10 overall. There are some areas that need improvement. The handling is really sluggish, even with the bombs unloaded. I suggest increasing the size of the control surfaces. Also, the gun seem to destroy the plane when fired.
@MechWARRIOR57 Yeah. Most likely. I've been busy, and I haven't been on the site very much lately, but I still check my notifications periodically, and could update the list when I have time to do it.
People will see what they see, like what they like, and do what they do.
No point in wasting energy trying to push a mountain.
Don't stress and just roll with it.
@Karma I find I have to resort to using vertical stabilizers with rudders to keep the car driving straight. Also, tune the steering so that it is JUST enough to clear the tightest turn on the particular course. And keep your CoM low to mitigate the risk of flipping.
@tuco Pretty good. Details are great, and the controls are stable and responsive. Easy to take off, and not difficult to land. Roll is a little slow, but that's acceptable. One thing I would change, is adding trim to the elevators, but the flaps can serve as a replacement pitch-trim, so all is good.
@legiondesigns 7 million is far beyond hyper sonic. Those are relativistic velocities. Speeds so fast, you exceed the escape velocity of the entire galaxy. At that point, the only thing in the universe you can't outrun is light itself. You have have so much momentum, an object the size of a plane has an impact force comparable to an asteroid impact. That's some fun stuff!
@legiondesigns At speeds like that, you sort of lose track of the islands, and can't find a place to land. And that's if you don't angle the nose up and accidentally leave the atmosphere.
@ChiChiWerx Thanks.
If I knew the serial number, I could search a database for it.
There are some very sharp individuals on the Warbird Information Exchange forums who could possibly help you find it.
When modding engines, consider modding powerMultiplier instead of maximum throttle input. Max-throttle boosted engines take too long to spool up or shut down, and you can achieve the same extra thrust by changing the powerMultiplier value instead. Also, over-spooled engines are really loud and annoying.
@Gestour Technically, you could limit the maximum spool to 10%, then boost the power 10 times. You'd have the same thrust output as the base part in 1/10th of the spooling time.
@SimpleFlow You're right. I could have sworn I added it though, because I remember testing your plane. I'll fix it in a bit.
Make it about 98 times bigger, and it'll be actual size.
@volt0 2 parts is hardly a build, but thanks!
Pretty cool.
@ChiChiWerx True, true.
@SHCow I called it "lighting" because I saw that particular typo WAY too many times while compiling that pesky list I made. Too many fingers missed the "n" key!
@SimpleFlow @Liquidfox Haha, thanks!
@Treadmill103 LMAO
I made a thing!
@jamesPLANESii No. I've been much too busy with other things. Most I do is check in once or twice a day to mark my notifications as read.
@Treadmill103 It was unlisted until the race went live.
@NativeChief1492 Yes. You can use anything you want. I won't mind.
@jamesPLANESii Nah, I've been sitting in the 19s for a while. I haven't uploaded anything since 15 days ago is probably why.
@jamesPLANESii Sorry, I'm lazy.

@jamesPLANESii Want me to add it to the list? I've been neglecting it lately. Been REAL lazy.
@jamesPLANESii I do what I can.
Noice
Yes this one is much better.
Added.

@asteroidbook345 Thanks! This is my favorite plane of all time, and about the only plane I put any real effort into recreating. I love it so much.
@Deloreandude Pretty sure I already did.

Found something that does a decent job among my past creations.
Let's throw it in and see how it does.
@SimpleFlow @ChaMikey An obsession is an obsession lol
@SimpleFlow You gotta be careful at full throttle. 50-75% is the sweet spot for both speed and control.
@tuco Pretty good. Details are great, and the controls are stable and responsive. Easy to take off, and not difficult to land. Roll is a little slow, but that's acceptable. @AtomicFerret007 Thanks.
@tuco Glad you like it.
You're firing on all cylinders lately. Quality work.
I like going the distance. That challenge basically taught me how to cheat.

@ChiChiWerx Thanks.
I've seen faster.
@ACMECo1940 That's the allied reporting name, yes. The Japanese never called them that though. To them, it was called the 三菱 F1M 零式観測機.

Beautiful.
Murder on my computer, but beautiful.
F-15 is 4th gen, my dude.
Pretty nice regardless.
@BirdOfSteel Thanks
@PilotOfFuture Thanks!
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation Normal as they come.
@DownUnderWing Thanks.

@TheMutePaper I've made some pretty huge planes that work just fine.
@Itex Thanks.

@MAHADI Thanks
Build a plane that carries and releases a smaller plane.
