Btw @pwq233 you can tag multiple people in one comment, figured it’d be handy

  • S.E.M Rhino Wheeled Tank Destroyer 5.7 years ago

@Kimcotupan15 sure worked out, I only found it out after “following” a Churchill down the west sea cliffs at Bandit.

  • S.E.M Rhino Wheeled Tank Destroyer 5.7 years ago

    ...it’s semi-amphibious, apparently.

It can float but it can’t go anywhere in water, unless I use the recoil

I swear I just thought of looking for this not 30 seconds ago, I scrolled down and ta-da

  • Consolidated PBY Catalina 5.8 years ago

There’s one at the Halifax Air Museam without the wings or the engine (at least I think it’s a Catalina) and I thought it was a submarine..

  • 747-AAC with Microfighters (Outdated) 5.8 years ago

I was looking for something like this not long ago! Might want to put “aerial aircraft carrier” in the description so more people can find it.

  • Tiger I [AI tank] 5.8 years ago

@5N1P3R12335: okay, but you didn’t have the tag that says your replying to him when I replied, so it looked as if you were talking about the OP’s post (in fact, even AIRCRAFTCRAFTER replied to you and thought you were taking about the OP). Plus this guy at least doesn’t steal stuff, he modifies the craft, which is actually explicitly called out and approved in SimplePlanes rules.

If you have something again him, it’d make much more sense to comment on one of their creations, as to not cause confusion when the tag doesn’t pop up.

Also the rude “shut up” was uncalled for.

  • Tiger I [AI tank] 5.8 years ago

    @5N1P3R12335
You don’t just decide to make an account and act like this against people’s creations. What you’re doing is rude and insensative and you couldn’t do any better.

Plus, this is an AI design; it’s supposed to be recognizable and yet have a low part count so you can spawn them in with next to no lag. This does all that perfectly.

  • Bell XS-1 "Glamorous Glennis" 5.8 years ago

    Ohhh
Perhaps the owner of the upload with screenshots mod is making a sound trail mod and accidentally put some of the texture code in there? I don’t know, just a theory

  • Bell XS-1 "Glamorous Glennis" 5.8 years ago

Amazing! A bit tippy at one chamber but that’s to be expected.

What’s the purple/green trails in the first and second pictures? A sound wave mod?

  • Lockheed P-38M Night Lightning 5.8 years ago

A masterpiece once again! But uh quick question: is the nose landing gear supposed to be opposite of the normal Yaw controls?

It works! @randomusername Thank you so much for the tip!

Edit: oh for Pete’s sake it says an error occurred loading the level. Won’t work if I save and load the craft either

After I’ve saved so many of your designs, it’s only fair that I should follow you. You do such an amazing job on all of your planes, they’re fun to fly and goof with!

  • working flak (mid air explosion) 5.8 years ago

Woah, nice! One way this could be improved, though, is if they were set to Air-to-Air (I think that’s possible on XML, idk I don’t have it). That way you’d be able to see how far away the target is and fire when it’s the set distance.

  • DS ship 193 5.8 years ago

Uh, not sure about anyone else but the main cannon (and the entire front of the ship) seems to fall off after a few shots. Anything I can do to fix this?

  • Hawk 5.8 years ago

Amazing! It’s super fun! The only complaint is the vertical maneuvering speed, but that’s fun too!

  • B-52 H (BUFF) 5.9 years ago

Would it be possible to make a version of this akin to the description of the Old Dog megafortress? A supersonic nose cone, missiles and glider, etc...

I can’t, the plane is so big it won’t load on my puny tablet. Nobody has to either, I’m just putting this out here.

  • MG FF cannon request 5.9 years ago

I know this post is really old, but just thought you might want to know!

  • Model 100 6.0 years ago

Whooo, this thing can stay up at stall speed!

..which is also it’s max speed. But very stable! I love that! And I’ve flown in the Dash-8-600 or whatever before so I can compare this to it and it looks great!

  • Martin-Custer Vortex™ 6.1 years ago

This thing can take off at bike speed.

Also, don’t spawn it in a location with anything more than slow speed, because all of a sudden it will go 3,000mph and start going crazy.

  • F-42 Draken 6.4 years ago

It’s smooth, easy to fly, and as far as I can tell it doesn’t use XML modding.

A quick question: what are the 24 arranged holes on the underside of the fuselage for?
