Set the Inputs in SimplePlanes:
Attach the above equations to the Input Controller field for each piston:
Piston 1: sin((GS/11) * K)
Piston 2: sin((GS/11) * K + 1.57)
Adjust Timing (Scaling K):
The value of K depends on how quickly GS/11 changes:
If GS is high, you may need to reduce K, for slower cycles, increase K
Start with K=1 and tweak as needed.
@NtgTrent4503 whilst the rotator method won’t work, I’d recommend using pistons to push a rod back and forth, and then another piston to move that piston up and down to make a circular motion, works better, easier to do, and I think is more accurate.
@AircraftExperimental I play war thunder I am well aware of how explosive reactive armor works, this is the best you can get from SimplePlanes without being overly complicated. But I am well aware of how KE and CE shells work, It’s just that using glass ERA is the best looking and simplest way to make good looking ERA that stops at least one kind of shell type, if you have a better way please let me know but as of now this is the best you’ll get.
Where is the gun? I want to see if it if accurate to the actual GAU-8, but i can’t find it, how tiny is it? And I can only count 8 parts (9 if you include the invisible gun) but I can’t find the 10th, but it does have ten, this scares me.
@WritersCrusadersAirCo2 or the Mk.IV or Mk.V, whichever you want.
+2@WritersCrusadersAirCo2 do you think you could make a British WW1 land ship? It’d be really cool.
+1I’ve seen one of these in person well over 100 times at the NMUSAF, really cool plane
@Saturn0 that’s the USS Maine ACR-1, this is the BB-10 a different ship.
+2He was forced to drop agent orange and napalm instead of pesticide.

@NtgTrent4503 I’ve made it work! I’ll post it, it’s not perfect but it can be tweaked by changing a variable.
Buru nya
+1@IQWWII it just kind of randomly explodes, when I turned off collisions this stopped happening.
+1Engine breaks, just turn off aircraft collisions, and it’s not very stable in flight, the built is great though.
+1There are 2 pistons in the same setup when downloaded to actually do this to.
I already made one a while ago, but I definitely didn’t do it like this. Good job.
Could’ve called it, “The Trackhammer”
This is really good, is this free to use?
+1This still feels more like an old crappy photoshop than a real car no matter how real it is.
+5Well made, would’ve been cool if you added a roof and the little ex-hotdog stand in the middle, but for its size it’s pretty low parts
+6I have a photo of one of these exact planes in the airport terminal from when 1999 when my father flew one. Pretty cool plane and era of aviation.
+1@John8185 but sure I don’t care just credit the actual creator
@John8185 I didn’t make this plane, I made the cockpit based on my experience inside the F-111 cockpit.
@WinsWings Ohio

@WinsWings sadly no, I just modified an old WCAC build.
+1@WinsWings thanks man, always open to helping out with things.
+1@WinsWings no problem, always willing to help out.
+1I’ve made every plane the blue angels used into a blue angel livery, just for myself and they still aren’t as good as this, great job.
+2Could you make this but with your newer mobile friendly track system?
+1You should make 102 ‘Rudy’ from Four Tankmen and a Dog.
+1Great build you’re just missing the extra counterweights on the mantlet
@WritersCrusadersAirCo2 yeah
+1Are you going to redo and post some of your MBTs? Like the AT-1 which I’ve modified in the past
+1W control scheme.
@KPLBall ok
Did you change this from the original at all? If you didn’t then this violates ToS
High speed lobotomy machine
+1@Karroc9522 I’ll post it tomorrow when I can post again.
In the time when I posted it I’ve made the crane move, it doesn’t pick anything up but it does move forwards, should I post it or just leave it as is?

@Nuclear1234 I havent really noticed this when I shoot at it though, could be the impact force of the machine guns
@Nuclear1234 that’s an issue with the original tank, which was made by WCAC and not me
Just noticed there are 3 pieces of ERA on the back of the tank that aren’t connected, just reconnect them as a simple fix.
For flaps just add a control surface with the input set in XML to “clamp(VTOL, -1,0)“
please make it to scale next time.
+1Great date to upload it man,
+2@Karroc9522 I didn’t make them btw WCAC made them and IDK if they did or didn’t take the system from someone, I haven’t seen anyone else use it though
W tutorial, thanks.
Looks like a pudgy pigeon

+3That ‘funny stuff’ is pretty goofy
This reminds me that I filmed the entire NMUSAF museum and should upload it sometime
+1W name
(I can say this as I’m autistic)
