    @jamesPLANESii ok is there just no cowl flaps for this plane then

  • These planes might end up being my LAST EVER POSTS. ~~TEASER + NEWS~~ 2.9 years ago

    @jamesPLANESii ok, do you know what the two knows beneath the throttle, prop and mix are? I'm thinking one would be cowl flaps but Idk why there would be two

  • These planes might end up being my LAST EVER POSTS. ~~TEASER + NEWS~~ 2.9 years ago

    I'm assuming the Miro took inspiration from a Mooney? There's obvious differences like the retractable gear and more forward wing sweep, but I think the windsheild and the taper of the cockpit back to the tailplane is what is making me think this.

  • selectable fuel tanks 2.9 years ago

    @rexzion I'm guessing that @PlaneFlightX just made a variable for fuel, and defined it as something like this clamp01((x - sum(Throttle))>0) where the constant x is how much fuel there is. If it = 1 there is fuel, if it = 0 there is none. Just multiply this by throttle or whatever you have in the engine then.

  • Small Racing Buggy 2.9 years ago

    @rexzion very cool indeed

  • Small Racing Buggy 2.9 years ago

    @rexzion lol

  • Su-25t 2.9 years ago

    @rexzion the curvy canopy back it is so out of place like ik its not a normal su25 but it is a really weird variant

  • Su-25t 2.9 years ago

    Ewwwww looks weird

  • Adam A500 2.9 years ago

    @Mage2IsTriggered ok thats really good. Maybe we could even do a motrocycle class then.

  • Adam A500 2.9 years ago

    @PapaKernels @Mage2IsTriggered by the way, we need a name.
    I'm thinking "Formula SP Challenge" is the best for now, however that limits it to single-seat open-wheelers. Maybe a better name is containing "grand prix" in the name, like "SP Grand Prix Challenge" or just "Grand Prix Challenge"

  • Adam A500 2.9 years ago

    @PapaKernels @Mage2IsTriggered ok, so Kernels you can hold the challenge. I can write the full desc, Mage if you would put together a thumbnail, that'd be epic. Or maybe some sort of logo I could put in the description banner would be good too.

  • Adam A500 2.9 years ago

    @Mage2IsTriggered @PapaKernels ok yeah, good idea with the classes. Also, open wheeler can be a class so yeah, we can accomodate all of that. Now whose account should it be on? I'm fine to not host it, obviously the owner will gain the most due to upvotes and successor pts so i dont want to be a douche here. But I can write the desc or whatever you guys want

  • Sissor Lift (OS) 2.9 years ago

    @WaitBreadIsntAfruit they don't exist. oof

  • Adam A500 2.9 years ago

    @Mage2IsTriggered @PapaKernels

    Hey guys, any interest in a Simpleplanes car racing challenge? We would make it as the three of us, and here's my pitch:

    There's a set of regulations:
    - car size
    - min / max weight
    - max horsepower
    - no XML on certain aspects such as wheel grip
    - no "electric" motors
    - specified downforce amounts / areas you can use wings

    And it all has to be aestetcially pleasing, this will be a scoring category but handling and Gold Prix times are weighted quite heavily.

    As for scoring, we can discuss a points system. But we each would also take our best run of Gold Prix in each entry and average the times, that would be a large points.

    Let me know what you guys think...

  • Sissor Lift (OS) 2.9 years ago

    @WaitBreadIsntAfruit ok yeah I see what you mean with that but the point still remains

    Lol btw who's the user who recommended this to you? It seems like ur trying to keep them anonymous but maybe they could provide some insight into this.

  • Sissor Lift (OS) 3.0 years ago

    @WaitBreadIsntAfruit

    here I drew something lol

  • Sissor Lift (OS) 3.0 years ago

    @WaitBreadIsntAfruit when I say "unit," basically its just for reference. Like in geometry on a problem with no units(such as feet), say you answer that the area of the circle is "500," but really the more correct answer is "500 square units"

    Idk how to explain it. Its like a measure of distance but it could really be anything. Almost like a variable but not really.

    Saying one thing is "1 unit in length" and another is "2 units in length" is like saying the second object is twice as long.

  • Sunrise Express "Solo" 3.0 years ago

    @CarrotSlicingCompanyCat that happens to me with a lot of videos incouding this one. Its been there for a while, and I reloaded three times and it was still there lol so I decided to just watch it.

  • PC-12 REVIEW 3.0 years ago

    Yeah the stopping looks ok but the acceleration is way too fast. I would say, decrease the drag.

    If it has trouble slowing down(like in the air) after you decrease drag, then add an airbrake with -Throttle + 1 in the input so that it will slow down whenever you have less throttle on.

  • Sunrise Express "Solo" 3.0 years ago

    @CarrotSlicingCompanyCat ha! Cool

    @Korzalerke idk whatever, it doesnt rly bother me that much

  • [Website suggestion] Proper line breaks in comments 3.0 years ago

    Lmao what is that then \/

  • [Website suggestion] Proper line breaks in comments 3.0 years ago

    I think you can't make a blank line to prevent people from spamming empty comments. I know, it's pretty dumb since you could just put a period but I think that's the mentality.

    Another way of thinking about it is that comments should ultimately be a single-paragraph statement, not a long, multi-page essay(even tho I abuse this on the daily lol)

  • [Website suggestion] Proper line breaks in comments 3.0 years ago

    @Korzalerke yeah I know. But there's a good reason why it isn't implemented, at least I think so. I'll put it in another comment so you can pin, if you'd like.

  • Tesla Cybertruck (Texas Edition) 3.0 years ago

    @realSavageMan oh yeah, forgot you were Chinese! I would really love to live a year in East Asia at some point in my life, like for college or something like that. Probably in Japan, from what I've learned I love their culture -- amazing food and very efficient and minimalistic yet also very thoughtful.

    Also by the way, like half of my high school lives for rodeo, and owns a giant ranch, and the other half of us couldn't care less. But, we suck at football, I'll give you that much

  • Tesla Cybertruck (Texas Edition) 3.0 years ago

    @realSavageMan

    No, its CO. I can see the CA thing, why you would think that tho. But its basically a thing where I live that people from Texas come for skiing, and they all can't drive their cars in the snow and they all suck at skiing lol

    We even have a lot of terms for it like the "Texan Tuck," where your poles stick up in the air whenever you try to crouch down aerodynamically

  • [Website suggestion] Proper line breaks in comments 3.0 years ago

    @Korzalerke open bracket, close bracket, open parenthesis, close parenthesis, example below

    Like you're adding a link, but theres nothing in either slot

    You already can do that lmao

  • Autogyro 3.0 years ago

    @V yeah I didnt check it with anything but high phys, thats probably it. Sorry to waste ur time on this lol

  • Autogyro 3.0 years ago

    @Atoka220 well yes, they require very little takeoff and almkst lo landing distance IRL, in fact it is possible to hover land this one. But to sustain flight, you will need to maintain speed

  • Autogyro 3.0 years ago

    @V ok no problem

  • Autogyro 3.0 years ago

    @V thanks! By the way jamesPlanesii said he couldn't get this one curated but he said it should be... if you could check that out it'd be amazing
