Winning my first robotics competition in my senior year.
.
Oh, and getting a job at williams international before graduation, that was cool too
.
And the one time a kid snapped the gripper off of a 40,000$ fanuc robot at my districts vocational program was fun too.
I tried to move to JNO, but JNO has severe building limitations that SP doesn't have.
One example is that there is one connection per connection point per part. You cant just attach stuff to each other without regard like you can in SP. TL;DR, stuff like this isn't possible in JNO.
.
Also, I primarily play on mobile and the mobile controls on JNO are horrendous. The cursor hitboxes are too small and I end up fat fingering it, causing me to create a mess of mirrored parts.
.
One other thing, vizzy can't do a lot of stuff that FT can and vice versa, vizzy is powerful for programming autopilot paths and stuff involving multiple crafts, but FT excels in local things on a single craft allowing for complex movements and calculations. It is much, much harder to do stuff like this in JNO, while vizzy allows you to easily create a constellation of separately spawned drones that you can form into various patterns, which cannot be done in SP with any amount of FT.
This game is the reason that I am so successful today. It has helped me get through tough times and has helped me show others that sandbox games don't have to look all blocky. If it wasn't for SP, I wouldn't be working in the areospace industry right now. The 5 bucks I've spent on the mobile version is the best 5 bucks I've spent. Thanks.
@Sm10684 not sure what you mean, the rotators only exists to read rotation angle. Everything is done via the control base, allowing for me to move the suspension up and down and adjust it's strength on the fly
These are adjustable as well, I just didn't show that off.
This will allow for suspension geometries that normally don't work on SP. plus, imagine all the compliant mechanisms we can make?! Image a VR hand made of torsion springs that can wrap around objects without advanced FT code? Imagine realistic wing flexing! Rotators are obsolete. Expect more videos exploring control bases, I already have a demo in the works that shows that control bases don't wobble like rotators do
I like bending the game to my will. The more I mess with things, the more stuff I discover. I've unlocked some major secrets with control bases, and I plan on publishing them to the forums soon.
@GiuliMBorgesYT I've played for 7 years mainly on mobile, so I'm largely not affected. Though with the game's final update and no android mod support, I'm stuck fumbling with PC controls. Here's a tip though, hold Ctrl while selecting things to prevent yourself from moving them around
@SPairforce shhhh.....
This gives me inspiration to make my own
+1@5 you can make links like this:

+1@BeechcraftA35 sail the seven seas.
Hmm. Would a bi-autogyro work? One rotor above cockpit, one rotor below? I have some ideas.
+2Saw this in MP, noice
+1Companion cube my beloved ♥️
+5Ive checked out the SR2 community and it looks pretty dead over there as well. Id just put it up to school getting in session recently

If you asked me when I had a crappy android 5 phone (it was an LG K7), id say less than 300 parts. Nowadays, keep it below 500 for mobile friendliness
Downgrade to sp 1.8 and somehow track down the old mod files
+1Use a suspension spring and just have everything detach when it's compressed enough. The input on the detacher is as simple as
+1Compression >= X
@Englishgarden no
Congratulations on platinum, your okthxbye permit is in the mail
+2I suspect I will see you again, nobody truly leaves SP after all.
+9@RepublicOfCursedPlanes correct
@jamesPLANESii that only applies to posts that mods remove. Posts removed by the user do not remove the points gained

Grats. You are now in the top 5% of users. (According to the last time somebody checked how many silvers there were)
@ToeTips I never saved it

Shaddahp. Besides, you can still just paste the Roblox launch protocol into the address bar and just join games via id
+1@KSB24 am on the latest version, doesn't work. Will test with my other 120 hz phone to see if it's just mine.
+1You got 120 fps working? I tried but couldn't get 120 fps no matter what I did to settings.xml. yes my phone supports 120 fps

I have it, but never really got into it.
That's the neat part, you don't.
+2Though I really wish you could
@Erc90F4RU with some modifications, i have it doing eagle pass in under a minute
