It sounds a lot like the hawker sea fury (another beautiful sound maker) but more aggressive and with a more 'thumpy' engine does in have a twin row supercharged rotary by any chance? @Cjredwards
That's sure is a dreamy sound lol, I haven't seen one fly b4 as there aren't as many American planes in the U.K there are obviously more in their homeland lol @Cjredwards
Oh and most of the aircraft of the shuttle worth collection, Bristol boxkite, AVRO IV triplane Blackburn mono deperdussin A and many others are in that movie, and it also features a lot of other cool things and some quite hilarious machines, that is if you haven't seen it, it's on Amazon prime I think :) well worth the watch, and the laughs it's an old style comedy, sorta slapstick :) but mostly factual with the planes and they all flew but obviously some 60s movie magic in between when the actors are in the cockpit lol @Cedy117
I have had something in mind for a while... I nicknamed the design 'stretcher bearer' it uses a fuselage in the middle with four large strutsat the front and rear holding large biplane wings facing backwards into the middle so you fly under a sort of roof made of wings the bottom set have wing warping and there is a propellor suspended beneath the small fuselage, it has big skids at the bottom for the landing gear aswell, I think it may be a cool design, if u want to have a go. Or alternatively you could create the opposite, instead of being under the wing you place the fuselage on top of some kind of whacky system possibly a decaplane or something :) but these are very XVI styles ideas (whacky as hell but they probably will work to some extent lol)
How about a flappy thing :) or some kind of more conventional plane, for inspiration you could watch ThoseMagnificentMenInTheirFlyingMachines (or how I flew from London to Paris in 25hrs and 11 minuets) ;) lots of good old planes in there @Cedy117
Yeah, but this is more like how they did it, it was basicly just bending the tip of the wing and lifting it up at the same time to cause roll, in my opinion this is more like the real thing, but if u made the wing more bendy it would be even more realistic, I can't do that cause lag lol @AeroEngineering
@Cedy117 @CarterIndustries I spent about half an hour making that chair lol it's meant to be based on a wicker garden chair, something the rich landlord would have had in his conservatory in around 1905 :) there's a toolbox and a tin of castor oil too, :) glad u liked it! :) but the Xiphias monoplane is still my favorite of the two :)
And here are the bombs they need to be in rows of 3 like this
III
III
III
III
III
III
And that's copied over so thee a two levels like that
======
And these are attached to single detachers on a third level like this
DDDDDD
All of the 6 bombs in a row are attached to one detacher so you can basicly carpet bomb stuff, :)
I'd prefer u use the small bombs and have two rows, but yeah...
Next job, the actual plane here, needs bomb bay doors with the rotators in the fuselage blocks https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/NYISS3/XVI-p-00-6-Cormorant-NAVY @UnknownVectors
:) the more time u spend the better the finish :) and remember I have a few (one) more jobs containing this kind of thing (slanting of fuselage blocks) so youd better remember hero to do the code :) I also have a job that concists of making bomb racks and bomb doors for a bomber I, working on, the bomb racks are multiple bombs attached to the same detacher and then multiplied along the bomb bay so u can carpet bomb:) @UnknownVectors
I'm pretty sure you can change the other angle of the fuselage blocks, like the other one not rise or run whatever, the angle u can't change with a button should,be easy to do with the magic of X-M-L ;) I think it will give a seemless finish :) @UnknownVectors
It's mainly just things I can't do at all, for instance putting a ton of bombs in a plane but only having them fire with 6 detachers or making a tail turn with a rotator that's in the front of the plane or making the wings warp with rotators that aren't attached to them.. @UnknownVectors
What? I think you just went into gobeldygook mode again... @IA1000 and no, this petty argument has nothing to do with real life countries or your pathetic roleplay, it's because the colonel tried to boss me around like I was a pesant it was because the colonel HARASSED me for 4 months (you didn't even care) it's because he FORCED ME TO LEAVE AS PLANESOFOLD and it's because HE exploited my ASD ( a type of mental illness) to make me look like a pathetic FOOL now will you kindly stop talking about pavara and baby land and BUGGER OFF!
@General360 we unlike America have fallen in love with our aircrafts, we don't think of them as a way of defending U.S. Or fighting wars, but as beautiful examples of British engineering, unfortunately after that hawker hunter crash none of our vintage jets are allowed to do aerobatics, even tho it was complete pilot failure,
Yes especially when you see them fly, I am lucky enough to live half an hours drive from where that plane is based, the magnificent, shuttle worth collection home of a metric butt ton of old planes, I went there last month and saw Vulcan XH558 as well as this and the oldest airworthy British plane in the world flying, as well as the DH88 comet (the original) and a ton of other rare planes look up them flying on YouTube :) I'd certainly love to be a mechanic there and work on these beauties :) and you will not beleive how gorgeous they sound when they start up either, lol and they reek of castor oil :) hehe and fat (they use pig fat or something fowel to smoothen the canvas lel) @Cjredwards
Ok well you have a point, it would be awesome, but I would rather have a structural failure setting than a manual destruction setting, cause structural failures are the second main cause of old aircraft crashes (the first is high wind) so it would be cool to be flying and not be able to do a loop for fear that the wings would crumple I'd also like to see a maintinance system where if you crashed you would have to replace damaged parts of your plane (they would show up as red or something indicating they are damaged) it would be cool, and would get people to try and not crash and say if it was awing or an engine the damaged part of players wouldn't create as much power or lift, and if you kept using it it would be completely useless or cause a structural failure @Cjredwards
No.. Otherwise old planes that aren't aerodynamically stable whatsoever 'Chogh Chogh Xiphias Monoplane Chogh Chogh' they would just fall apart.. @KingDeadshot
@General360 they use these?
I love the F104 too, but it's nothing like hunter lol @Verdnan
Can u build the concept design for the 'Super arrow' it looks like it will Mach your style :)
This is basicly the American Vulcan ;) therefore I love it too, shame one crashed tho :(

If you want hobo yes make good planes, no one makes any decent planes anymore so what do you expect?
The Chinese discovered how propellers worked in 150AD and Leonardo davinci designed a helicopter in the 1500s

@SpiritusRaptor I did it m8! I made working wing warping!
Question, why is your profile pic of a lion? Cause well, i'd have used a tiger or a snow leopard or even a black panther @BigCat

Top gear isn't screened here anymore, Jeremy was a dick and punched his presenter lol so now that's on Amazon prime @grantflys
Now delete the comment@UnknownVectors
Watch on BBC Iplayer on da interweb :) @Rohan
New, it was good, a nice anti war speech at the end.. @Rohan
I gtg and watch Dr who lol
Did so thin happen? It says u are offline :(
I cannot find your reddit.. @UnknownVectors

@Cedy117 @AeroEngineering they were good designs :)

Avro Manchetser heavy bomber
The one that flew was a reproduction by the millimetre of the original, @General360
It was replica @General360
@General360 mheanwhile in Great Britain
@General360 we have the oldest airworthy aircraft in the world, a 1909 bleriot XI and we still fly it,
Another B-29 will soon enter flight, so don't worry bout that @General360
@General360 we unlike America have fallen in love with our aircrafts, we don't think of them as a way of defending U.S. Or fighting wars, but as beautiful examples of British engineering, unfortunately after that hawker hunter crash none of our vintage jets are allowed to do aerobatics, even tho it was complete pilot failure,
We have 1 Lancaster Canada has the other, it's being re-done now tho, @General360
@General360 BYE BYE
The last Vulcan has been grounded imagine how I feel, @General360
Why not feature my builds, I may be a former gold with a silver tag but ytahellnot
:)
I really do love your planes
Lol @Cedy117
Latent isn't corrupt @Smrtaz
Heheh and I will be the only person capable of flying my primitive creations ;) imagine wing warping in turbulence, that must be hell lol @Cjredwards
