To enable console on mobile (by default it's disabled), go to Settings and click at the title 5 times. When activated, title will say "DEV CONSOLE ENABLED". (Same actions to disable it)
And to open dev console on mobile, just tap with 3 fingers at the same time on the screen.
There's a vanila tool for this, no need for mod. In designer, go to eye icon and then click icon with paper (or blueprint?). Here you can set views and add pictures
[3] I not sure about the integration into the game. This map is being developed as a static website, which has very little to do with in-game stuff. I think being a website, the map will be more accessible to the community, regardless of their platform. Although the idea of an interactive map in a plane sounds pretty cool! Especially if the map is integrated with FunkyTrees.
[4] The zoom feature is already implemented - you can change the map scale from x0.01, when you can fit all the islands in the viewport, to x5 to see small details (as far as the resolution allows, haha). Airport and other object markers are already in development, along with the ability to hide layers with checkbox. But when you talk about google maps and different perspectives, you probably mean making this map 3D?
@MohoPlane there is many countries that have this heli in use, including Russia, Ukraine, Vietnam, India, China, Syria etc.
so putting flag of any if these countries would be correct
@Cosmopolitan Thank you so much!
After Westland Wessex i planned to do Su-22, but KUH-1/LUH are looks pretty interesting. I will notice them for further projects. Thanks for idea ;)
@PlaneFlightX ok, that sounds better. the thing is that i limited the zoom per one scroll division, so this bug gets really interesting.
if you don't mind i have a couple of questions.
what browser/device are you using, is browser up-to-date?
how does the map work on another browser / with another mouse / on another computer / on mobile?
does cleaning browsing data help?
crazy, but what if to play with the scrolling settings of the mouse? Idk if that possible but what if mouse does many scrolls per one scroll division, that would explain the jump from min to max zoom, in that case i could set the min. delay between scroll processing
@ShinyGemsBro @PlaneFlightX i found out it happens due overscrolling when zooming-out, especially when i used trackpad. I tried to fix it by limiting the max zoom, but let's see how it works for you
@ShinyGemsBro Wow, didn't really expect it to break like this considering that i was using Chrome when developing. Is it up to date? Have you tried other browsers? Is there any error messages in dev console?
This is exactly the command I was looking for, thank you very much!

I would like to supplement this with a solution to a problem I encountered when copy-pasting a command into the console.
-
If you get the error Wrong number of arguments specified, it means that instead of 3 arguments with the coordinates of the end point, the Transform.Translate command expects 2 arguments:
1. The point that will determine the vector of movement relative to the current location of your aircraft
2. The distance to move
-
So the final command will look like this: //Aircraft>Transform.Translate 0,1000,0 1000
-
P.S. I encountered this problem in the mobile version
Yeah, it would be really great to get isometric view of the islands from Unity. I don't know how the SimplePlanes project is built, but if you can get access to the default islands terrains, you can do the following:
Create a camera, point it north and rotate it down.
Switch camera mode to the Orthographic ("Projection" setting at Inspector).
To get really high resolution images of the islands, one screenshot of the whole island may not be enough, and it's better to take several pictures with smaller scale to then combine them into one large high-resolution image of the island.
I think it would be most efficient to enter the full screen mode having scene editor and game mode splitted, so one window is used to move the camera across the terrain, and another window is used to take a screenshots.
As for getting the height data, seems like Unity allows you to directly export the height map without any tricks.
All above is just my vision of how it can be done and of course you can do it as you see fit.
@IDK0 In the same panel, if you scroll down to "Options" section, you will see "Selected Parts". Click on it to switch to "Connected Parts" mode so it will move joints properly
@Mhossein12 Hi👋 which drone is the best in your opinion?
+3Good job man, keep going
+1– mom, I'm afraid of the jet Tu-95
+1– what a nonsense, son, there are no Tu-95 jets
Tu-95 jet: prowler noise

Here's the FT expression that outputs Heading angle 0-360°

+1@MonsNotTheMonster Yeah, I was thinking about adding tools for measuring distances, creating paths, etc. That's for the future.
+1@TheMouse Hi, thanks for the comment!

+1@overlord5453 couldn't wait for camouflages in SP2 so i made something here, lol
+1@MAPA Hello, sure. In XML editor, at RotorPerfScalars preferences set
collectiveTorque
andcyclicMotorDragTorque
to 0Also you can set Tail Rotor mode to "Head Hold" for better stability
+1@dabestsock indeed a great idea. I was thinking of making a version with panels of reactive armour. Glass would be great for this
+1@MonarchiiwithastolenMG lmao thats the point! XD
+1@LITVYAK013INDUSTRIES Yeah, it would be perfect, but any aircraft damage cause the mission failing😅
+1@Hiimakeplanes good question. however I'm sure I used the correct dimensions.
+1@WinsWings thank you so much ;)
+1@yeager Ukraine inherited 79 MiG-25s like a legacy from Soviet Union, but it was withdrawn from service in period 1996-2004

+1pretty fun heli
+1suspension is cool ;)
Criminally underrated model. It looks amazing!
Epic choppa

Hello, can you add a SimplePlanes Map?
really good looking and at the same time low part count UAV. love it!

@YarisSedan Lol, missed it a little bit. Gonna add it with PC content soon

@ShinyGemsBro what's the device/browser you use?
Map is already available. More information, link and further updates will be at this post: https://www.simpleplanes.com/Forums/View/2049353/RELEASE-SimplePlanes-Map
@32 No problem, thanks for letting me know👍

@32 Hello, how things are going? Have you tried to access islands in Unity? Any update would be appreciated

@DeltaLinkAviation thanks 🙏

@IDK0 It is done in Transform Part panel or Fine Tuner. Like moving/rotating any other part in SimplePlanes
Literally pice of art, love it🙏
@Hiimakeplanes Yeah, depending on model, FAB-series bombs can be 1.952-2.470 m along
@Hiimakeplanes Yes, exactly
@Hiimakeplanes 500kg = 1102lb
it's perfect. PERFECT. everything, down to the last part.
most useful tank i ever played, 100/10
