@Hellosss38 But also.... it’s a game. I get it that y’all are passionate, but you gotta take a step back and look at yourselves. You are getting worked up over internet points. This applies to a good amount of people in this comments section - I’m not trying to single you out here.
I'm using a laptop with 16Gb ram, and NVIDIA 1660 Ti graphics card (about 6Gb of VRAM). Other than that I forgot my specs, and Its been a while since I researched laptop specs.
.
Anyway, what I have works quite well. It did come with a decently high price though. Downgrading to, say, 8Gb of RAM shouldn't nuke your performance too much. Like the previous commenter said, its a balancing act between cost, specs, size, and weight. A heavy laptop will be cheaper, but won't be too fun to carry around.
I would expect that there are a lot of users from the Philippines as well as the whole of ASEAN. I'm not one of them, but I'll upvote to boost this post.
The novelty of your graphic style probably wore off. Don't get me wrong - the thumbnails look good, but they don't show the plane very well. In all thumbnails, it is a good idea to have the plane fill the image. Graphic design fluff should be secondary, where in these thumbnails it is almost primary. The flag part of the thumbnail, for example, takes about a third of the thumbnail's usable space, which is far too much. Thumbnail space is valuable real estate!
.
Hope this helps. Also spicing up thumbnail styles every once in a while helps with reception.
The community is still quite active, in fact it probably got more active over the years. Quarantine has everyone on SP, too, so the site is busting these days.
Hi everyone,
.
This forum post is part of my next upload's technical documentation. As of posting this comment, the build has not been released. You can find the teaser here.
Ooh lets try. Helleska, kicking fish, twin prop, bush plane, gator (The heli??), tutorial plane, little bugger (that's the buggy's name, right?). I'm honestly surprised how few I know.
A guardian missile with a lock time of zero will brute-force its way through countermeasures. Looks like @Aeromen answered the rest. I have noticed that missiles behave oddly when their adjustment rates are too high, so watch out for that. I have some missiles in a subassembly upload that usually do the trick, at least for me.
@preda046 The going the distance mission seems surprising, given that it’s weightlessness is given by thrusters. I suppose it’s due to the max input values. Ty for letting me know!
@JuanShot2Go Snowflake made a pretty good post. This post should have everything you need to know about booleans, comparison operators, and logical operators.
Sounds like a non-issue to me.

+2@Alpha6 It has a good amount of coverage with missiles. It probably got a lock at a good time.
@Hellosss38 Chill lol
Nice! My first car was a 2002 Ford Explorer. Its not as big as that that truck, but it gets the job done.

No problem!
@Veronica No problem. It seems like many challenges these days disallow futuristic entries for no reason, so your challenge was a refreshing one!
+3Using Throttle * sign(cos(900 * time)) might give you the behavior that you want.
+2You would have something along the lines of clamp01(Throttle >= 0.95) as the
+1input
of the VTOL engine.@ThomasRoderick More or less. It’s a pretty versatile engine that can be installed on larger vehicles too.

Yep! I'm from the US.

@Alpha6 Yes. Lore-wise, it would be a support system for the aircraft's missile systems.
@Alpha6 Definitely. It was designed for civilian use. I'm not sure why I strapped guns on it though.
@BaconAircraft I agree, ty!
@Tums Ty! This one was a wild ride, and I'm quite proud of the math behind it.
+2Some technical documentation has been posted early for those who may be interested. You can find it here.

@preda046 Hello, it’s good to see you gain. Ty!
Ah. I used a latin root for the name, so it makes sense. @Alpha6
@Alpha6 I didn’t! Do you speak Spanish?
@Alpha6 Sounds good. Thanks for letting me know.
@Alpha6 Is it not?
@Jaxonrox99 I am finishing up my bushplane, and waiting to post it.
Intermeshing rotors. Hmm. Maybe. I’ll keep it in mind.
@Jaxonrox99 I’m open to ideas. Let’s hear it!
@Jerba Ty! I’ll be sticking around here for a while.
@Jaxonrox99 That’s been a common request. I might look into it.
Good stuff. I also appreciate the username.
Probably the usual reasons. Server maintenance, power outage, server crash, etc.
+1Yeah. The site was down for a while.
@Alpha6 I used Funky Trees, trigonometry, some proportions, and 6 thrusters. The technical documentation takes a pretty deep dive into the system.

+1Nice build! The first screenshot could definitely be improved.
The rock scene is pretty good today imo. There's some great bands out there.

@preda046 @Zayzay90003219 Ty!
This post is for me to format forum posts and documentation before actually posting.
All below comments are from the old, recycled forum post.
@Alpha6 Ty! I was going for a pine sort of look.
