I actually tweaked the the rigidity of the parts to compensate for the vehicles while testing, but with a level that was good enough to drive around and not explode turned airplanes into flying tanks, so we reeled it in a bit. @FullFruntall
Glad you like the update! I'm excited to see all the wonderful creations you will make with the new parts! That was actually always in the back of my mind while making them. @SpiritusRaptor
@Dynimerous damper effects the absorption of the shock travel, limiting the springiness of the springs. Lower damper settings allow the springs to bounce more, and higher limit the bounce.
In my book, this is the best helicopter to date in this game. Im blown away how good this is, the rudder controls in the cockpit, the shocks in the skids, everything is perfect. Flies fantastic too.
Hands down my favorite helicopter at the moment. This is a true joy to fly. And it looks beautiful on top of the accurate flight characteristics. Top notch job on this! Looking forward to more helis from you.
Yeah that's strange. I actaully modded the engines for actual HP of the real thing, and adjusted the pitch of the blades so it has the same rate of climb. If it barely takes off with the VTOL slider all the way up, then there is a problem. You can adjust the Max Range from 9.5 to something higher in XML of the main prop engine. That should get it off the ground. @Dynimerous
This was a joy to fly. You really have mastered the ability to control aircraft to their full potential in the sky. I mean, you made a giant gundam fly like a fairy. No small task.
This is awesome! I LOVE all the details you added. This is what collaborating with other players builds is all about. This should be an example to others on how you make previous builds better!
Would love to see that! Jshay has also brought this build to the next level https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/wN6iDh/KC-10?comment=293223#comment-293223 @AJosh92FS

I would feature this every day if I could. It is one of my favorite sci fi ships, and you did an amazing job on it.
Wow, dat part count is low for such epicness. You deserve a medal for that! You are a ship master good sir! Keep them coming!!!!
Glad you like it, it was the first "simple" airport I created, so it's very basic, but gets the job done. @Jetliner101
How do I get Beta???????
It was named after me. I made it, but didn't like the name. It's now Yeager. @Jetliner101

@PhilipTarpley, this is a fantastically stable glider, with an awesome towing system to boot.

Not sure what you mean, the elevation is controlled by the VTOL slider. AG2 is the engines. @Dynimerous
@FIRESHOOTER Andrew Garrison is the head honcho.
