@WIZARD2017 This would be possible with the new part modifier variable output, but it is currently only supported by the heli main rotor part and there's no UI for it so you would need to XML mod. Here is how it can be used.
@Skykid028 If you can't find the log file then just go ahead and submit the bug report without it. If we really need it then we'll contact you directly and help you figure out how to get us the log file.
If you find a bug, please submit a bug report here. The most helpful thing you can do is to describe how we can recreate the problem. The more likely we can reproduce the problem at the office, the more likely we can fix it.
SimplePlanes VR is coming to Steam and Oculus Quest this year. If you want to know when it’s released, you can wishlist SPVR on Steam here.
This part, as well as the labels, gauges and the fuselage cutting, will be included in the v1.11 update which we are hoping will enter beta testing this month.

Backup files end with .xml.bak so you just need to rename it so that it ends with just .xml and then the game will show it in the Load Aircraft window.

@2Papi2Chulo Thank you for making that aircraft. It flies so well! I was able to update it with the new VR controls and it was a lot of fun to fly in VR. Sadly the part count on it is too high to run well on an Oculus Quest 1/2, but it ran really well on my PC.
@SimpleSquare We have a few new parts that can be used for making custom controls in cockpits that can be interacted with in VR. We'll post more about it over the next few weeks.
@rexzion We have to do something for sights, but I'm not sure what quite yet as we are still working on that. Do you have a link to a craft that has a sight that won't work in VR?
@AircraftMechanic19
1) Yes, mod support for the Steam version of SPVR should be about the same as the original SP. However, mods that have their own user interface will probably not display properly (or at all) in VR. The Oculus Quest version will not support mods.
2) VR tag would make sense for mods.

@GabrielFangster70 Yes you can fly airplanes that don't have a fully immersive cockpit by using the physical controls on your VR right or PC. You can fly from orbit, chase, fly-by camera modes, or the traditional cockpit view.
@KnightOfRen I'm really not sure what would be causing that. I would suspect mods, but you said you aren't running any except FT. I just crash-landed, upside down with flames coming out and it still says Level Complete. I guess you could send us your log after you have another failed attempt. You can find it here:
I would recommend re-installing. You can use the Files app to copy files from the SimplePlanes -> AircraftDesigns folder to a folder outside of SimplePlanes. After you re-install, just copy the files back into SimplePlanes -> AircraftDesigns.
@Walvis The specific error you are getting appears to be a driver issue or a hardware issue based on this post. If you are sure the drivers are the newest ones from nvidia.com then unfortunately it is most likely a hardware issue.
@KnightOfRen Thanks for letting us know. So you were able to get the beta?
@V lol, thank you for the honesty. Now I can see why you were so excited to start a tournament!
@V sorry, no plans for a tournament in the near future.
@KnightOfRen What device do you have?
@WIZARD2017 yep, that's the plan.
@PapaKernels What is your device manufacturer and model?

@zerozeke88 Unfortunately, not. Google Play is the only Android beta we will run.
@Type2volkswagen Thank you for following up with the solution!

@Kennneth Thanks!
@Hectord27 Give it another shot. It should work now. Sorry about that.
You can enable italics using the <i> tag. The labels use TextMeshPro rich text. You can read more about what formatting options it supports here.

@BombBoi1822 not sure on the exact release date for v1.11 but we are planning to enter beta this month.

@poenix Yes, the current plan is for SPVR to have mod support on Steam.

@RC1138Boss :D
@MisterT Thanks! Unfortunately, we don't have any plans to add support for TrackIR at the moment.

@Zippy6 Thank you. We're planning on reworking them ourselves, but I'll keep it in mind in case things change.
@klm747klm747 Good ideas. Please post them on the suggestion post here.

I'm sure I missed a lot of questions. If you have any questions for me that I didn't answer, just tag me on this post.
@dimondengineer I could make a shirt out of delicious foods, so I like that idea.

@CenturyAerospace @Captainboeing Not sure about MFDs yet. We'd love to add them, but I'm not sure if we will have enough time.

@HorizonOfficial No plans for tank tracks.
@AN2Felllla I still don't follow. Is there a specific part of the video where I could get a better understanding?
Special thanks to @Vincent for making this video!
@KnightOfRen Open Windows Explorer and paste that path into the address bar.

What airplane are you using for this challenge?
@ChrisPy Ah, if there is no .bak file then unfortunately there won't be a way to recover that file. Sorry I couldn't help more.
Check if there is a file with the same name but ending in ".bak"
@SupremeDorian impressive!
This only happens when editing a post/comment and not when creating a post/comment?
