@JangoTheMango rule of cool with a dash of realism is my kind of thing. That's why ship designs from Fractured Space and Dreadnought are my favorites because they are both cool, and are realistic at the same time (they both use RCS to maneuver and not some pseudo-science tech).
@JangoTheMango so anything with technological gravity is off your books? We ride the same boat then, but vessels with centrifugal or thrust gravity have very limited design options. Take for example the ships from The Expanse. They all look like a mix between a skyscraper and a multi-stage rocket.
@ThePilotDude yes, but trying to expand it is a tough challenge. I just used to create backstories for my builds, but now I want to focus on the story part and make my builds an integral part of it. That's why I put a lot of effort on my builds' descriptions.
@ThePilotDude but that makes like 5% of the entire plot. Plus they don't really embody sci-fi, as giving those characters superpowers makes their tech pretty useless. In sci-fi, technology is an integral part of the story. You won't see a sci-fi franchise that doesn't focus on the tech that keeps its ball rolling
@Strikefighter04 Halo and Mass Effect are darned good too. Too bad trying to build a sci-fi universe here in SP just doesn't seem to work. I don't just want to build a ship and post it. I want it to have something behind it, a story to tell. That's why I built an entire lore series just to give life to my builds.

Now this is something you don't see everyday
Great work! This one now looks like a full-blown warship, plus warping never gets old
Taggerino
Finally, someone with more or less the same music tastes as I do! Thanks for the dump
Very nice! I love the overall aesthetic of this. Great work!
teeming war between PH and China bruh
Nice work!
@DarthAbhinav because the people here get more ecstatic on replicas than fictional stuff trying not to get triggered
@Rugpeersdude @MasterCool7890 @F104Deathtrap thank you!
@JangoTheMango well this flying brick has the stuff you need ;)
@JangoTheMango thank you! I still used my usual building techniques here, I just tried to avoid making this one look like a flying brick
@ThePilotDude @RaendyLeBeau thank you!
@Treadmill103 thank you!
@ThePilotDude thank you! Do you mean a cockpit view complete with displays?
@CortarGamin thank you!
@CRJ900Pilot @ThePilotDude thank you!
@ShadowS Thanks! In english please?
@PancakeAddiction done!
@Mostly that's not enough to destroy a planet.
@Mostly I thought the mining laser was used to bore a hole straight through the planet's core and a gravity bomb was thrown through that hole?
Nice work!
@DerekSP that is actually a better option
The triangular grip is too low for comfort, nice work though!
@Strikefughter04 the Continuum would like to establish an alliance with your republic, time difference aside.
Nice work! Honestly though, you should learn how to xml-edit guns. You can the tweak your own guns to your taste.
@Baldeagle086 thanks! This was kind of a failed replica so I turned it into something else
@Freerider2142 increase muzzle velocity and bullet scale z-axis. And nice work!
Nice work! I love this odd design.
I still don't get why this design was cancelled. This was basically the F-22 of attack helicopters.
+2@diegoavion84 exactly. There's just no thrill in that kind of combat

@Treadmill103 I'm not excited for SR2 to be honest. I'd prefer Space Engineers even though it is a lot more complex.
@MrDoolittle that is very much true
@DarthAbhinav sci-fi without realism is a steaming pile though.
@JangoTheMango so anything with technological gravity is off your books? We ride the same boat then, but vessels with centrifugal or thrust gravity have very limited design options. Take for example the ships from The Expanse. They all look like a mix between a skyscraper and a multi-stage rocket.
@ThePilotDude fair point on the first one, but I still won't consider superhero stuff sci-fi. Nothing will change that.
@ThePilotDude yes, but trying to expand it is a tough challenge. I just used to create backstories for my builds, but now I want to focus on the story part and make my builds an integral part of it. That's why I put a lot of effort on my builds' descriptions.

@ThePilotDude I don't see marvel movies as sci-fi though. They're just superhero movies. Star Wars minus the Force aspect of it is pretty good too.
+1@Jesseoverink what?
@Chancey21 press I for control surface test
Great work!
Nice work!
Ok now what

+1@BaconEggs ahh, I see. An ED replica, though the design really gave off that impression.
Oh yes! It looks very well-made, plus it looks like a trans-orbital shuttle with both passenger and cargo-carrying capabilities.
I prefer my builds having backstories, that's why it takes me a while to come up with a description.
+1@JangoTheMango thank you! Glad you liked it
