@ThomasRoderick thank you. I was never truly gone, I was checking the site and Discord a few times a day, but yeah, I wasn't posting for a while (:

@MAPA thanks. History must have been at least as difficult to get right as was the build itself. Literally months of studying every bit of information available on these, including a visit to the SMS Bodrog / Sava, which is still afloat in Belgrade.

@Mousewithamachinegun122 eh, it's just kids. You can't expect kids to be rational. I'm on pretty good terms now, years later, with the very worst of them.

@Monarchii oh, I didn't know it's for that challenge. Still, could have used gyro for better turning. Good work on the PID controller though.

  • [PEA] HMA R101 11 months ago

Why not make it maneuverable? These things were quite maneuverable. You just need a large vertical wing near CoM to provide directional stability, another one in the tail, and some actual control surfaces. Also, it should be steerable on the pitch axis via both ballast trimming and elevators.

@Numbers2 SP and SR2 accounts are connected. A ban on one platform extends to the other. Or so it used to be, if they haven't changed it.

Andrew has actually been replaced by an automation back when I was a moderator. I never found out what happened to the real Andrew. I guess automaton malfunctioned yesterday and they're cleaning up the mess now.

@SunnyOmori a piece of advice from a guy that's been with this community for eight years now: this kind of stunts might earn you some credit with the newer members of the community, but no lasting reputation. My advice to you is to start making builds, and good ones at that, if you want people here to recognize you. For random chatting and socializing, use many discord server linked in the pinned "List Of Discord Servers" forum post.
If you want to actually play the game, you can learn from other builders, both by exploring their builds, and by asking them how they did certain things. If you're just here for internet points and cheap validation, you'll find Facebook a much better alternative.

  • The Adoratank Challenge 1.7 years ago

Is the challenge accepting armored fighting vehicles that border on tanks or are often mislabeled as tanks, such as assault guns, self-propelled artillery, wheeled vehicles with tank guns, and tank destroyers?
By the way, this is a pretty nice challenge. Good luck with it.

  • How do you make a challenge? 1.7 years ago

@ACGspOfficial let's say a winner should receive ten upvotes. You go to ten of their builds, and upvote them. That's really all there is to it.

  • How do you make a challenge? 1.7 years ago

    @ACGspOfficial by upvoting their builds.

  • Airship Challenge CLOSED 1.7 years ago

@BluestBoi oh, never mind that. When you have a history of hosting popular challenges, you learn to use as much of a harsh tone as you can. It makes people read the rules carefully, resulting in higher quality of entries, and more good airships for the community to enjoy.

@Planemaker1012 I'm glad you like it. Half of the building process here was shaving off excess parts and tweaking functionality. I too was playing on a second-hand laptop at the time, and the goal is to make it not lag even on my device.

  • I Am No Longer A Moderator 1.8 years ago

@asteroidbook345 thank you for clarifying all that. I was almost afraid I was up against a rational person here. So:
Lacking moral high ground means you are morally wrong. You admitted to not having it.
You have failed to discuss facts, thus making it apparent that you are also factually wrong.
You keep insisting on insulting me, proving the poor quality of your character, and making your entire statement pointless by virtue of being a lesser man.

    +1
  • I Am No Longer A Moderator 1.8 years ago

@asteroidbook345 unfortunately, you have just lost your moral high ground by attacking my ideology without reasonable arguments, and by insulting me.
I must advise practicing your manners, as well as expanding your vocabulary, and learning how to converse.

Having pretty much mastered fuselages by now, I think you should also try custom wings. This technique offers decent, easy to make custom wings with low part count.
    As always, nice build.

  • Fokker E.lll 2.3 years ago

You should have given the engine less torque in my opinion. Taking off is really difficult. Wheels could have been scaled by width to reduce the attachment point size. Other than that, it's a very nice build.
