@WNP78 @Gestour Thanks for info! Scrap that plan but at least I don't have to hunt for the leak :P
@Thomasj041 here is link to my unlisted prototype/experiment that demonstrates the problem https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/ab68Lu/Water-physics-experiment
@WNP78 firstly, is there an easier way to add trim function to rotator? I ended up using stabilator (small wing turned by a rotator). It's input can be selected (I used pitch) but there is no option for trim. I tried to xml-edit trim="on" to rotator but it didn't work.
secondly, thanks! I'll have to look for installer for that.
Beautiful build that nicely catches the spirit of old flying boats. At slow speeds it really flies like a whale :-D
My impression is, that the plane floats in nose down attitude and elevators don't have enough authority to pitch up to have positive angle of attack. I tried to reduce buoyancy in rear of plane but that caused nose sinking even deeper O.O
@NathanMikeska I don't know if this is a bug or a feature: when there are two or more control surfaces on the same wing, each control surface's width can be individually adjusted but adjusting one control surface's length adjusts all control surfaces' lengths on same wing. Beta 1.7/GoG/Windows 10
@tsampoy thanks! The funny thing is, the more circular it gets, the worse it flies.
btw thanks for the idea for paint job. I tried Sauron's Eye but it was way too lame without serious decoration, which I don't have the skill. So I settled for more conventional eye.
Your outboard engines blow up because there are decorations made of "tubes" that collide with rearmost propellers. After they explode, flying debris destroys rest of the propellers.
True, with black-red-yellow colour scheme it could be made to look like Sauron's Eye. I'm quite happy with wings' outer line but inner line is bad. It would take wings that can connect both from the sides and also front and aft.

@TheLatentImage Is XML-modding and fine tuning allowed?
Good job
Extremely detailed and beautiful build. Kudos!
Incredible build! I am totally amazed by all the functionality and detail in this grader. Awesome job!
It looks so lifelike. 6/5
Wow! Hugely detailed, especially the jet engine. And it drives better than everything I have tried before. Excellent job!
@WNP78 That's genious, thanks!
BTW Re-installed 5.3.6.f1 Personal but problem continues :/ (in case I ever need to modify a rotator)

@Gestour @Alienbeef0421 Thanks for help. Next thing to learn is xml-modding...
@WNP78 Thanks! That was exactly what I was looking for!
@WNP78 Can you elaborate that click and drag procedure? I'm on PC.

Gorgeous replica of historical plane! I love your effort in details like lights, RAT and collapsing NLG.

I'm Spartacus! No! erm... I'm a follower :D
@AverroesIndustries thanks for info on how to post screen shots. Much appreciated!
Many thanks! @alexchub1
@alexchub1 Thanks!
@alexchub1 Thanks for upvote!
Gorgeous build, kudos!
For some reason avg2 does nothing and avg1 self destructs the ship.
@Jetpackturtle thanks for upvote!

@EternalDarkness @jamesPLANESii @GINGER01 thanks for advice!
@alexchub1 thanks!

@alexchub1 Have you considered using counter rotating props to reduce effect of torque? Just a suggestion :)
@DerekSP I'm afraid not. After removing the "decorations" and putting it back together, the props didn't explode anymore.
@alexchub Cool design, absolutely unflyable though.

@alexchub1 a big thank you!
Really cool prop engines. Aft part of this plane somehow reminds me of inflatable boat.
@alexchub1 thanks! Btw I just followed you. Nice work you got :-)

Extremely beautiful build. It truly flies well, but I run out of fuel almost immediately.
Nice idea. Reminds me of Me-163 Komet.
Made my day :D
@tsampoy yep, I noticed :/
Wow. Speed and agility like I have never seen.
Fascinating plane
@tsampoy @alexchub1 @Geoplanes Many thanks for your upvotes <3
@tsampoy Many thanks for your kind words
@alexchub1 thanks!
@tsampoy @DarthAbhinav thanks for advice, I will take a look
@tsampoy Thanks. I just hope I had the skill to make the wings more round.
@DarthAbhinav thanks! I actually read about annular wings in wikipedia which inspired me to do this plane
@ProvingMars thanks for the upvote!
