@JacobHardy64 I think it probably counts the 24 hours after the plane was uploaded, so if you upload 5 planes at 11:00 pm you'll have to wait till 11:00 pm the next night to upload again.
@BRuthless even with a missed ring, it can beat most of the planes I've seen posted publicly that are competing in the race. I'm testing it with other planes right now instead of just a loose cockpit and whenever it is the competitor it has about a 1/3 chance of hitting the water. I'm hoping that's just my device though because it takes that turn just fine every time when it is the plane the camera is following
@BRuthless I'm pulling off consistent 1:23's with a few 1:24's. That version hasn't crashed yet and only had a few flukes where it missed a checkpoint on the tight turn about halfway through. It's dipping to about 735 in turns and gets to around 750 on the straits
I haven't played with the video replay, but I'm running a 5s with the latest iOS and crashes pretty randomly, but only when I press a button like to undo something or load the level or exit to the menu etc. at any physics level, and hasn't happened when I'm flying as far as I can remember. Also something that crashes consistently is when I try to download massive planes that go outside where you can scroll in the editor, any action after that will crash the game. I'll turn replay off and see if that makes it any better though
I stayed for the entire stream, and it was really entertaining to watch. Some suggestions though would be to have something in between races so you could see what round you were watching, and who won and so on. Something like "semi-finals, round: 7, race #2" and then have a little T chart similar to the one that was in the race details when you went and looked at the specific races in the bracket, where it showed who won each race and how they won and stuff. Basically I just want more info about the race displayed in between each race. Also an airspeed indicator would be nice too
Can you make a mobile friendly version, just take the cockpit off of the ship and upload it like that so it only thinks it has 1 part? I want to get into the ships in this game but it's so hard to find one for under 800 parts and nobody is bothering to make mobile versions.
Ok but wait. When you count the number of pixels in the triangle there are exactly 237, which is a multiple of 3. What plane has 3 engines? The Felixstowe Porte Baby. After the initial prototype, only 10 more were made. Off-topic, right? Maybe not, because as we all know the Baby was equipped with 3 Lewis machine guns, and each gun fired 0.303 caliber bullets that's not a very suspicious number, or is it?... 10 planes times 3 guns per plane equals 30 guns. 30 guns plus 303 equals 333! 333 is often considered the angel number, meant to have spiritual meaning if you see it often. But let's stay away from the supernatural and just stick to logical reasoning. One special number is 6174, for which any 4 digit number will result in if you follow Kaprekar's routine in as most as 7 repetitions. 7. There are 7 books in the Harry Potter series, and there are 3 main characters. If they stood in just the right spot, they would make the shape of a triangle. People, open your eyes and realize that FLYING WING=ILLUMINATI CONFIRMED!!
It'll most likely have weapons, but the main thing they are concerned about (and why mobile update has been delayed) is the AI planes, which take a ton of CPU power. Nothing a computer can't handle but they aren't sure if mobiles will get ai because of this
If you can't get the ai planes totally lag free on all devices you should probably have a toggle on/off or make an option to switch between planes so we can set one flying in one direction and take off with our second plane and shoot at it. I think it would be better than weapons but nothing to shoot at at all
Honestly, I've probably spent an hour total on the challenges, but have drained countless hours into sandbox mode. To make it short, what I want is the capability to do anything, in whatever style/genera a game may be in
@JovianPat break apart in really bad situations maybe, but mostly if a plane can't handle it it will be unflyable and explode when it crashes into a mountain
Some parts fail to mirror, plane teleports away more often than not, parts sometimes get deleted, and sometimes I get duplicated parts if I undo too many times in a row. It's pretty buggy so I would save your plane often and stay away from it as much as possible
@TheLatentImage I'm on iOS only, and the XML struggle is real. Probably not for engine power, but simple rotation, size, and coordinate value editors built into the game would be invaluable to me
@YoYoJ16 with some tail drag planes pitching down before the rear wheel lifts off the ground makes it take off as if you were pitching slightly upward. I'm unsure as to whether this is a bug in the game mechanics or a weird thing that would actually happen, but it's weird nonetheless. Maybe this is what you've experienced?
Also another thing to add: make sure the weight is in the center of the plane and not out on the wing-tips, or else your plane will keep rolling after you've stopped telling it to
@Exumer made the middle piece a 1x1, 5block long nose cone with 20% fule and took the things on the side off. I also put small wings on the engine and gave them flat bottomed airfoils to take some weight off of the engine

@James22202 all planes are being flown by AI
When is the stream for this going to be?

The devs are aware of this, and have it on their list of things to fix but I don't think it is their priority right now.

The detail you put into this is incredible!
@Boeingaerospace Its so satisfying flying it into things, thanks for trying it out!
@WalrusAircraft @JacobHardy64 thanks guys!
@aseder thanks!
Looks are good but the engine doesn't need to be hundreds of times more powerful that stock..
@Myobia yea, it might not work with the new update but that's how it's been done in the past

+1Nice! I love how the afterburner is on activator 8, makes it a really simple plane to use
Once mods are released, will they be supported on this site? And if so, on what platforms?
Please mobile version. Just take the missiles and weapons and long pilons off to make it compatible with our version of the game
Dang engine flames on point. Can't wait until I get to try this out!
This is really nice. And it flies amazing! Nice to see a WWII prop plane that flies below 300 for a change
Is the gradient on the wings part of the reflection of the sky or are there more advanced coloring options?
Can't download it, but I'm sure I would love it so I'll upvote anyways lol

The clouds are not 3D, and will keep rising as you gain altitude. You can never reach them

I've been trying to hit the Murphy hangers from the south tarpley spawn. Not hit it yet but gotten damn close lol
Impossible without complex FBW, which is way too complicated for SP. other than that you need to hide one or move on to the next plane
This is amazing! And @Sirstupid featured planes are for users below gold
All really great ideas
@JovianPat break apart in really bad situations maybe, but mostly if a plane can't handle it it will be unflyable and explode when it crashes into a mountain

@Ilovesthecheeses the gear button is a toggle button. It is saying that your gear is down, then you tap it and it is saying your gear is up
@TheLatentImage I'm on iOS only, and the XML struggle is real. Probably not for engine power, but simple rotation, size, and coordinate value editors built into the game would be invaluable to me
Practically never use it. And like others said earlier, if you make it possible to bind RCN to action groups then both groups are happy
Landing using VTOL for pitch got a little interesting heheh
Oh ma god the flat spins in this lmao
Another of your signature segmented wing designs. Brilliant!
Woah, congrats on platinum!
Woah, you actually did it??? Major props to you (heh, get it?) and I thought I was a good flier haha. It was a fun challenge, thanks for having it!
Badass!
This is so amazing! This is a better replica that most full-size blackbirds. And that little drone just makes it even better
Looks great, barely fly able however.
That's one skinny pilot lol

My dad is a pilot, and i want to become one but i can't yet lol
Blocks are pretty much useless, they're just easier to use for people that haven't got the fuse block controls down to make simple planes with
Also another thing to add: make sure the weight is in the center of the plane and not out on the wing-tips, or else your plane will keep rolling after you've stopped telling it to
