Nevermind Figured it out:
Go to the edit menu (the curved arrow) then at the top of that menu is a part variables menu which lets you modify the name of the variable that stores the ammo count
@Bellcat Double wishbone suspension is for land-based craft or aircraft with horizonal suspension structures. The suspension I'm making is vertical and as such double wishbone won't really work in this instance, plus I'm not looking to make it very complicated, which double wishbone is.
I've figured out how to fix the problem, the way you can do it is XML a minigun or wing gun to have 0 damage but set impactForce to somewhere within 100-1000 dependant on the weight of the craft, it then creates a force in any direction.
when the gyro is disabled then the yaw power or any form of rotation doesn't occur. It solves the orientation problem but then the gyros don't actually do anything.
@Minecraftpoweer, Thanks for the model, it's a good idea but the only problem with it is the fact that i remains active even while a shell isn't being launched, but I should be able to fix that with some XML (I Hope) but overall it's a really good tank
Thanks randomusername these really helped, I'm not going to link it as it is pretty bad and the problems aren't specific to a single vehicle. Thanks anyway

@Minecraftpoweer, Thanks I'll look into it.
Thanks, I took @GreatHenry ‘s advice and now simply use the max velocity xml mod if I need it to move at a certain speed
+1posted but unlisted
no idea how to link a build @Spacedoge12345plane
@randomusername It's a genius invention... any possibility of an explanation on how it works?

how do I add a picture?
@Minecraftpoweer, The beacon with a custom blink program works perfectly, here's a question, What colour would you say a muzzle explosion is?

bombs, it has a more realistic ammo effect
@minecraftpoweer, I know the reason for them, we had to study it in physics, i'm simply asking how to recreate them. But thanks for the concern.
@Parca1314 What??
Do weapons work with multiplayer? I know collisions do but does it work with weapons?
+1@DerekSP Still don't know how to make custom missiles so it helps but Custom missiles are still out of my skill range
@Blue0Bull quick confession: I have no idea how to make custom missiles
once again @EternalDarkness i must say thank you
i did that and it worked but i'd prefer a solution that didn't require that level of tuning and simply removed the issue.

Deadly8Nightshade, thanks for the suggestion but i usually don't use fuselages, (no reason I just sometimes forget they exist)
well done you won.

just to say
Its not looking good for this thing. I spent most time backwards,
and no offence it doesn't look amazing
I knew that there was no way to make it work
