and using rate on the 3 new target vars we can also get it's relative velocity (thus also actual velocity) vector (angular). nice for lead calculations!
What would be nice is to have a proper text editor for FT just like the nVizzy environment in SR2...
@jamesPLANESii I know but is that in newtons? Do we know the air density in SP? like that we could find all the Cd, Cl and other relations for all wings, parts and planes. I also have a bit of trouble understanding springs in SP...
@WarHawk95 pcque g aut chose a faire. Paperasse, rentree universitaire, projets perso... la vie quoi! et puis g 2-3 gros projets SP et SR sur lesquels je bosse presque pas...
@Rakoval500k This is an ooooold plane, so flight model is not perfect. But yes, it is subsonic and without afterburner. But if you dive from high enough, I'm sure you can make it go Fast ;)
@edensk I know these do exist and help. It's just that while trying to create a FBW system for a plane I wanted to know what typical values were for PitchRate.
I could ask in the forums of course but this tool would help to keep track of every FT variable, which would help in finding Logic errors rather than Syntax errors...
Now it really is a meme build because of this complaint post!
XD
Upvotes only have the personal value you attribute to them. they are just a measure of people thinking "I'm gonna click this big friendly yello button" in relation to a build.
Heyyyy! People do what they want, whether you think it stupid or not...
So chillax and ignore it if it bothers you. If not, then enjoy the roller coaster!
Interesting! I'm currently working on getting fixed wing Hang gliders to work in SP while learning to design them irl. I recon it's possible... but not simple...
@FlyingThings Weird... well, shit happens... At least I able to continue my Ta 154 paper model, and design studies at home. I didn't use the school workshop much...
@FlyingThings Nice! I've drafted a model of my first wing to build out of card but have now learned so much since that it is not a good design for what I want. I'll still build it to find any surprises that I need to know about...
This should be the perfect time to build, unless you are short of materials, no?
@Mustang51 I really liked the Vautour when I made it. Now I could definitely do better with DS but I have so many unfinished planes and projects, I won't redo it for a while...
@toxicgamer88 nice!
Please make it as realistic a flight model as possible! ;-;

@jamesPLANESii ah yes that works. And how do you think air density changes with altitude? If it does...

@jamesPLANESii True but what are the numbers?
oh and how does it change with air speed
Next: Drag

@mikoyanster Thank you!
@mikoyanster Gracias!
YES!
How about making SP track IR compatible?
+17: Scrappy!
JK it's not Scrappy...
but 6 is deffo cool!

@LlamatheNerd Thanky!
no wing twist! ;(
@Ergi thanks!
Yeah! Wow
nope
How many users are there on this site?
just asking...

@ jamesPLANESii thanks, funnily enough I hadn't thought of that much because modern hang gliders have very small dihedral!
@jamesPLANESii Mk1
I might have improved your design: klik
Also my hang glider: T

DCS FTW!
+1@MDDJB Thx!
@MDDJB Thanky you!
@BeryllCorp no problemo!
+1this is Mi-24 P tho...
doesn't work for me...
+1k
repost. what did you change?
@FlyingThings Weird... well, shit happens... At least I able to continue my Ta 154 paper model, and design studies at home. I didn't use the school workshop much...
@DonMurphy Thanks!
le vautour sert encore!
+1@FlyingThings I'm surprised you were allowed to stay! I had to leave mine...
@Hedero Now you know :)
@Hedero P -61C
P 61-C with no turbochargers?
