@Dimkal thanks, your probably right about the role, I had added the cannons on project inception as the p1214 was a ground attack proposal to supercede the harrier.
@MAHADI @BogdanX Yep I agree, that is the sole reason I didnt post it over a year ago when i built it, but someone asked about it yesterday so rather than waste it i posted it. When i was building it i used an A4 skyhawk and Mystere IV to get the general size and arrangement but then i made everything else bigger without realising the wheel issue until too late... My bad, thanks as ever for the feedback and comments.
@LieutenantSOT thanks for the comment and complements. I wasn't too sure about posting this one, I wasn't sure I had the wing to fuselage ratio right but it seemed a shame to waste it.
@jamesPLANESii thanks. These last few have been shelved for that long the game had been patched since I started them... posting will slow down soon as I get through my pile of 90% finished builds.
@SussyBreadBoi really? so you understand that the extra wing would double the lift of the plane but it also increases the amount of force required to carry out manoevers as its wider and an extra surface to move against the flow of air. The wing off bit was to counter the loss of mass forward when the bomb is dropped to keep CofG and CofL in balance. They tried this wing style with the Hawker Hurricane, maybe have a read up on that.
@SussyBreadBoi if you loose the bomb and the top wing it's really manoeuvreable... its intentionally more sluggish when the massive bomb is fitted for obvious reasons.
I would like to say thank you to ED for all the assistance he has given me over the years (adding or subtracting builds as successors etc), he was always an approachable mod. I'm not going to comment on the right or wrong of this decision or the logic behind it as I'm not 100% informed of the facts from both parties.
@WiniMii it happens when you first start off, just check out my lightning here . When your builds get better and you learn how to present builds in a better manner your upvotes will go up.
@SKyplane So you can definately add Activate2 to the input of any rotator and "Activate2 + Pitch" works... Not sure what you are trying to do but its not impossible as stated below...
@Hedero thanks =) Yeah i added some notes about takeoff in the instructions. The issue is resolvable with a bit of a wiggle on the takoff run using ailerons. Ill have a look at the other item you mentioned as i hadnt noticed it. The floats balanced so nice with it hopping up onto the step at about the right speed i didnt want to alter it to improve takeoff as it needed the bouyancy increasing or a mehcanism to push down into the water to get it airbourne. Thanks for the comment and upvotes.
@AndrewGarrison Great news on the new update/variant of the game, glad to see the game still being developed. The only thing I wish for is an ability to drag select multiple parts, this would make quality of life so much better (nothing like spending 30mins clicking 500+ parts to nudge them 0.01 down or back...) Keep up the good work.
@Tang0five thanks, im glad you liked it, I just wanted to make a clean early jet with some nice mechanical bits. Was a bit of a flop on upvotes but it was fun to build and fly about so that's fine. Overlaying panels does get tedious and like you say sometimes leads to colour glitching (I didn't notice any on pc on this build though)
@Markjn lol, a 3.5 year old build to critique. The wing isn't too far off at the root but this was before I figured out how to taper the wing like the real ones do. Mby look at something a bit more recent in my build list. Oh and this was built before the blueprint mod was available so all dims where from the mk1 eyeball.
@EternalDarkness good question. I had envisaged it with a front and mid mounted engines in positions similar to the do335 (I did base the fuselage from this aircraft 3views after all). However I did taper the fuselage nose in both width and height to match a more British style of nose / spinner. In hindsight I should have added some lumps and bumps (like a Griffin powered spitfire has). I'm considering working on this further (unlimited part count) so I can rectify this along with adding all the rest of the bits I left off for part count reasons. Thanks again for the comment and upvote.
@Falkenwut it looks similar to my Sturgeon, smart though =)
+12 separate bombs by 2 separate b29s (enola gay and bockscar from memory). They could also carry conventional munitions, just Google it.
+2@BlackhattAircraft yeah quite a bit, both on here, plastic kits and rc aircraft (I even had aircraft designs published in magazines)
@SussyBreadBoi there's no link...
@SussyBreadBoi help yourself, what did you have in mind?
@Dimkal thanks, your probably right about the role, I had added the cannons on project inception as the p1214 was a ground attack proposal to supercede the harrier.
@Mattvan28 Thanks, glad you liked it, i was happy with the way it turned out. I might do another version at somepoint.
@Drkaj whats that meant to mean? you dont like it?
@MAHADI @BogdanX Yep I agree, that is the sole reason I didnt post it over a year ago when i built it, but someone asked about it yesterday so rather than waste it i posted it. @210100 maybe, Google- hawker hunter miss demeanour.
@Joshflan10 here you go
@Joshflan10 ah ok, if you mean the rainbow colour scheme version then yeah thats sat there in my unlisted, will post it tomorrow.
@Trainzo thanks again.
@LieutenantSOT thanks for the comment and complements. I wasn't too sure about posting this one, I wasn't sure I had the wing to fuselage ratio right but it seemed a shame to waste it.
+1@Joshflan10 which one lol, I have already posted a few, just look through my past builds.
@jamesPLANESii thanks. These last few have been shelved for that long the game had been patched since I started them... posting will slow down soon as I get through my pile of 90% finished builds.
@31313sezer3131 what are you doing to get that to happen? 1 is only the reheat, nothing else..
@SussyBreadBoi really? so you understand that the extra wing would double the lift of the plane but it also increases the amount of force required to carry out manoevers as its wider and an extra surface to move against the flow of air. @AWESOMENESS360 same as in real life, more wing area equals more lift to assist with flying with the heavy bomb
@SussyBreadBoi if you loose the bomb and the top wing it's really manoeuvreable... its intentionally more sluggish when the massive bomb is fitted for obvious reasons.
@BlackhattAircraft yeah im still here and still building =)
+1@edensk thanks 😊 I will plug that in next time I get on, glad someone knows how these things work.

+9@WarHawk95 any progress on this? It's been so long I forgot what I had built lol
@TheHaggisBasher not that I use, can't you just create an unlisted build either the links in and tag me?
@LittleJerry less than 500 parts is a low part count...
+2@TheHaggisBasher what did you have in mind?
I make ww1 stuff all the time, have a look through my build list
See pinned post in forums with usefull links in.
@NITROSHARK thanks.
Read pinned post of useful links in forums....

@SKyplane what would happen if in the input command you put,"pitch + Activate 2" I know for trim and pitch " trim + pitch" works.

@atgxtg thanks :)
You got blown over to the black pearl location
+1@elbingus420 thanks 😊
@AN2Felllla I suppose you are following Mike patey on YouTube but have you seen his wing build / mechanism for scrappy? It's something else vid here
@Obtheplanedestroyer from memory they are set to yaw do activate depending on which side yaw you apply.
@EternalDarkness ah OK, I shall do some measuring when I get a chance. Thinking about it I did shorten a section by 0.5
Dave.
@Liquidfox01 @Treadmill103 @Astro12 thanks for the votes and comments again, much appreciated.
@ThomasRoderick that comment took me way longer to work out than it should have... thanks again though :)

@Hedero It looks like something I would build =) nicely done.
