@EternalDarkness Thanks ED, if you think this is weird you should see some of the stuff I discarded as I thought it was too weird even for me =) PS should i do a MK5 where the bottom wing is able to be jettisoned... hmmm
@blt just a flat body section that is broken into lots of individual panels shaped to suit the medium upon which it is placed :) I call it panelling as that's the closest applicable word I could think of, others may call it something else.
@Grob0s0VBRa Sorry i forgot to reply to this, thanks for posting it, i will have a proper look next time im playing SP (having a bit of a rest at present as ran out of 90% finished builds lol)
@TheHaggisBasher Maybe, the thing that puts me off the ww2 style bombers is all the useless turrets, if SP had a turret option i would certainly build some more. Have you seen the artwork for the B17 flying wing?
@ThomasRoderick I prefer actual roundels as they are not faded imported images, they are much more customisable to match the shape of the build while maintaining decent colours but are labour intensive. Other people use the labels as they are presumably easier and less parts are involved. It might just be me though...
@BMilan Wow. Im blown away. First craft i have downloaded from someone else in a while, so many features that i just dont know how you managed to do. Actual instruction sheet (how?). I actually laughed out loud when the little man started walking about, awesome action / animation. Little things like the book having the call to power slider for the engines or the man with the mop working tirelessly to mop the never ending puddle. Amazing work in so many other parts as well. Spotlighted and upvoted is the least i can do for this. Full steam ahead (at 7mph its going to take a while to get anywhere) =)
@Zero0Two2 Thanks for the comment and upvote, im glad you like my build. No need really for a statement, its in the terms and conditions of the website and i just delete any that turn up (with a nice ban on the user who commented), this appears to be working fine so far. It appears to be isolated to a couple of individuals rather than the community as a whole.
I had never seen your builds, which is a shame as they look awesome. I can't trial them on my phone due to mods for tracks though. I would suggest that you use all 3 of your available pictures when posting though as it helps people see what it is that they are considering downloading :) I found early on that builds with mods don't get as many downloads or upvotes though.
@BMilan Im not 100% sure to be honest. From my understanding there is a group of people that take umbridge with anyone creating any content which represents Israel in any form and then proceed to spam and post hate to promote their own political views / agenda. I've had this since i made a jet with an Israeli colour scheme (i thought it looked nice to model). To be honest it seems a strange way to encourage people to support their views, if anything it is likely to push people the other way... It has actually had a positive from my perspective though, I've seen loads of other peoples builds that i wouldnt have seen, ive had incentives to finish some old builds (after some more hate on a teaser post) and ive researched other colour schemes that i was completely unaware of =) Oh and ive had fun blocking accounts and removing posts, i felt like a mod lol.
@Spikerya Thanks, sorry i have only just seen your comment and kind words. I appreciate the support and am happy that others like what i do with aircraft.
I was kindly pointed to your post, i might not have seen it otherwise, that ship looks awesome, so incredible detail involved in it, have an upvote in recompense.
@Theinfinite Isnt Hioppocrates a Greek dude, philosopher or such? Ive not seen any such person on here. Fighter jet in silver has to be the EE Lightning =)
@SkyJayTheFirst They have a nice look to them, my personal preference is to at least use all 3 of the stock image options though =) You may also want to consider the wheel location / sizes as real aircraft have them further forward and a tad larger.
@Ericshideout yeah I've looked at them, a bit of a niche part of aviation for a very small period of time. I'm fairly certain I've done some in the past but I'm on mobile at present so searching is not so easy. Not ruling them out in the future.
@Apollo018362 I have in the past sketched some designs prior to building on SP but mostly I just use real world designs and add my own twist to it. Sometimes I'm also inspired by other people's artwork or SP builds as well.
@Type2volkswagen Ah ok, that makes sense sort of, definately seems to work though =) looks cool this thing btw, i like the rotory cannon, i made one of those but even without mass it used to make the built turn when i fired lol
@Boeing727200F no worries, freaking out with comments here? I've banned and removed a few comments but nothing overnight (unless some mod has been kind enough to do it for me?)
@Type2volkswagen I know that feeling, it takes ages to mess around with pictures and wording and by that point I've done the only bit I'm really interested in... :)
@Type2volkswagen cool build, those rivets must have taken an age. The cockpit looks awesome as well. I did have a whoopsy on landing though, high landing speed and powerful brakes lol. Can I have permission to nick your undercarriage code for delayed retract / release please.
@Emma159 Yeah thats fair, i used the Lightning for the cockpit only (Tornado nose - before chopping the end off, A7 fin and wing, F102 engine) but it does give off a squashed Lightning vibe =) Thanks for the upvote and comment.
@Type2volkswagen Thanks for that, that flipping rotator has had zero on deactivate added so many times and it was working fine just before i posted this build, there are definately gremlins in the system for that. No idea what happened on the nose wheel either. Well spotted and thanks. Fixed build here
@MartinAeronautics Thanks, im glad you enjoyed seeing my build process. I follow pretty much the same process with each build so i thought people might like a bit of an insight, plus you never know it might help or inspire others =)
@HariTheSnakk thanks, I didntveven realise it was possible to make missiles waterproof, how do you do that? (Not that I ever build anything that involves underwater but it might be useful to know)
@Boeing727200F well the fus, top wing, fins and tail are 90% scale Heyford so maybe the Do17 is a knockoff Heyford =)
@EternalDarkness Good idea, i did a polymorphic fighter a long time ago, maybe its time to revisit the concept.
+1@WinsWings I used the lightning for inspiration but as only one engine it took on mig 21 vibes :)
+1@EternalDarkness Thanks ED, if you think this is weird you should see some of the stuff I discarded as I thought it was too weird even for me =) PS should i do a MK5 where the bottom wing is able to be jettisoned... hmmm

@blt nah, it's just panelling, it wasn't too bad, I kept the wing simple knowing what I wanted to do with the leaf etc.
+1@Grob0s0VBRa Sorry i forgot to reply to this, thanks for posting it, i will have a proper look next time im playing SP (having a bit of a rest at present as ran out of 90% finished builds lol)
+1@Bierregasly help yourself, just make sure you comply with successor rules 😀
@TheHaggisBasher Maybe, the thing that puts me off the ww2 style bombers is all the useless turrets, if SP had a turret option i would certainly build some more. Have you seen the artwork for the B17 flying wing?
@ShinyGemsBro If you think this is wide you should see the concept art for the F22 bomber =)
+1@JessaLeih Glad you enjoyed it, its a fun build =)

+1@SomeSPGuyWhoLikesLore Thanks =) PS that autocredit is obviously incorrect lol, i must have forgot to start from new when i started this build...
+1@Rob119 Sorry Rob ive been busy with work of late so havent had much chance to look over SP stuff. It certainly looks like a Cheetah =)
+1@Spikerya Thanks, actually i dont have any new Skyhawk aircraft but im pretty sure i used that as the basis for one of my older designs.
+1@Boeing727200F Thanks Boeing, someone beat me to the delete button this time, try not to draw attention to them, its probably all they are after.
+1Drag. Its always drag. I build with 0 drag set on most items and then add as needed when test flying.

@BMilan Oh the hardest part, creating posts takes more effort than building =) Yeah sure tag me when you release it, thanks.
+1@BMilan No worries, sorry that this spilled over onto your post, keep up the awesome shipbuilding, I look forward to seeing the finished article

+1I was kindly pointed to your post, i might not have seen it otherwise, that ship looks awesome, so incredible detail involved in it, have an upvote in recompense.
+1I was kindly pointed to this post, here have an upvote, heaven is a half pipe =)
+2@Theinfinite Isnt Hioppocrates a Greek dude, philosopher or such? Ive not seen any such person on here. Fighter jet in silver has to be the EE Lightning =)
+1I was kindly pointed to this post, so i would like to suggest the Cheetah as its not modelled as often as the others.
+1@SkyJayTheFirst They have a nice look to them, my personal preference is to at least use all 3 of the stock image options though =) You may also want to consider the wheel location / sizes as real aircraft have them further forward and a tad larger.
+1@MobileBuilder21 thanks 😊 Thanks also for your other comments and upvotes, much appreciated.
confused. its exactly the same as mine?
@Skykid028 thanks so much for your kind words. I'm glad you appreciate my work.
@Ericshideout yeah I've looked at them, a bit of a niche part of aviation for a very small period of time. I'm fairly certain I've done some in the past but I'm on mobile at present so searching is not so easy. Not ruling them out in the future.

@Trainzo thanks, thanks also for your continued support, comments and upvotes.
@HuskyDynamics01 to be honest I did that wing so long ago I can't remember how long it took but it wasn't quick... fin though :)
+1@Boeing727200F Its fine, im just going to ban the relevant people from commenting. Thanks for the upvote though =)
+4@MrSilverWolf evening MrWolf, any chance you can remove the aerosultan and the other random dudettes accusatory comments from this post please
+1@AeroSultan lol, I don't know if your seriously deluded or that was meant to be funny...
+1@Type2volkswagen I know that feeling, it takes ages to mess around with pictures and wording and by that point I've done the only bit I'm really interested in... :)
+2@Type2volkswagen cool build, those rivets must have taken an age. The cockpit looks awesome as well. I did have a whoopsy on landing though, high landing speed and powerful brakes lol. Can I have permission to nick your undercarriage code for delayed retract / release please.
+2@TheHaggisBasher hey i do make some realistic builds =) Check out my WW1 style aircraft for example.
@Emma159 Yeah thats fair, i used the Lightning for the cockpit only (Tornado nose - before chopping the end off, A7 fin and wing, F102 engine) but it does give off a squashed Lightning vibe =) Thanks for the upvote and comment.

@MartinAeronautics Good idea, i never thought of reverse thrust to solve the lack of water friction issue, might add it to a future version.
+3@MartinAeronautics Thanks, im glad you enjoyed seeing my build process. I follow pretty much the same process with each build so i thought people might like a bit of an insight, plus you never know it might help or inspire others =)
