@Th3Missil3 It is; the FT is doable, but Snake eyes would take up more parts since the rotors and fins would be 8 parts minimum + a bomb + a detacher so a snakeye would be 10 parts minimum. So 6 snake eyes already bumps up the part count by 60 at least and thats not counting extra details.
@Applecrumble Woops 🤷♂️
If you look inside the targeting pod, you'll find a total of 4 rotators.
One keeps the camera's roll level with the ground and another keeps the camera's pitch level. These are on at all times.
The next two control pitch and yaw and will direct the camera towards the selected target. For these rotators to work properly, the yaw rotator needs to be level with the ground, which is why we need the first two rotators.
.
The connection order is:
Aircraft > Roll stabilizer rotor > Pitch stabilizer rotor > Yaw tracking rotor > Pitch tracking rotor > Camera
.
You can copy and paste the code and reverse-engineer it as you need to.
@ShinyGemsBro It has both JDAM's (GBU-38/31) and LGB's (GBU-12)
The first and second loadout here have both, but I've also seen pictures of F-15E's with 4x GBU-12's on the front hardpoints so I might do that as well
Bruhathkayosaurus (/bruːˌhæθkeɪoʊˈsɔːrəs/; meaning "huge-bodied lizard") is an extinct genus of sauropod dinosaur found in the Kallamedu Formation of India. The fragmentary remains were originally described as a theropod, but it was later determined to be a titanosaurian sauropod. Length estimates by researchers exceed those of the titanosaur Argentinosaurus, as longer than 35 metres (115 ft) and weighing over 80 tonnes.
If you want to use the console
1. Fly the plane
2. Press ~ to open the console
3. Type debugExpression -PitchRate
4. The game will show you in the top left your pitch rate in deg/sec
@Th3Missil3 The warhead for A2A missiles has been 0.25 to prevent aircraft from completely dissappearing when getting hit (although they still do sometimes). It does also add the possibility of surviving a proxy detonation, but a well aimed missile usually results in a kill in my testing.
.
The AI kind of sucks at knowing when to launch a missile, especially in close range, so they do miss or get proxy detonations on the player more often.
@BaconEggs Thanks for the info
I do make my FM's a bit more simplified and keyboard friendly so I might change it. Probably better to save that much adverse roll for something like a tomcat
I based the tail flex off of the DCS FC3 F-15C which does respond to roll a little bit
3 degrees might be a much tho
There is an aerial refueling port. It's not animated so there's no AG to activate it or anything like that. Granted, it does look a little silly using a probe-style tanker on an aircraft that uses a boom.
Missiles have been completely reworked, so the weapons on previous crafts are not up to date as of now.
Both of these changes will be applied to applicable crafts with time.
Nice!
The F-8 is what got me to gold, what a coincidence
👏
@Ownedpilot Not sure I agree with the F-15E having limited dogfight capability...
But I am considering making a STOL/MTD

@TheFlightGuySP Oh crap you're right
This game does run on Unity...
LERX does work but it needs to be made using the default wings (you can also make them hidden)

@Applecrumble I don't do a true JHMCS on my aircraft
for JHMCS enabled missiles, the maxTargetingAngle is just set to 90
@RamboJutter Holy crap. I just deleted all of my subassemblies and wow. The difference in game performance is literally night and day.

@Applecrumble from the front, the left rotator is the target tracking rotor and the one on the right is the stabilization

Go to File/Make a Copy
Now you'll have the spreadsheet for yourself that you can edit.
Maybe not an exact match, but look up Amarillo USAF. There's also Amarillo OADF, which I believe also has reverse italics

@PriusCat I was initially not going to since some pictures don't have them
But since it looks a little plain, I decided to start working on it

@TheCommentaryGuy It's based on this but the blueprint may be bit off

@ShinyGemsBro Yes. Since this aircraft isn't an older non-FBW jet, I wanted it to misbehave a little bit.
@ZeroWithSlashedO Woops, that was a typo. There's 4 dispenser parts, 2 with 30x flares and 2 with 60x chaff. So total 60x flares and 120x chaff.
Important Notes:
Both of these changes will be applied to applicable crafts with time.
