A big update to SP is most likely never happening again. As I've stated before, it's gotten to the point where adding major new features to the game is simply too difficult. Sorry, but you'll either just have to deal with the game as it is now (the community from this point on can continue development via mods, FYI), move to SR2 (which personally I think is a way better game for a variety of reasons once you adjust to its designer), or wait for Jundroo to make another game, assuming that happens.

@Fox00One and that may be the case, for which I apologise, but I made a comment telling everyone to stop and you made an excuse as to why it was happening instead of saying something like "okay"
@KnightOfRen Apologies, I got that confused with the ability to delete airplane comments. Still, though, this shouldn't have happened in the first place and this whole thing is just further irritating my already sick self.
@TheMegaMauster Did I not say in my original comment for everyone to stop? I was not pointing fingers at anyone in particular, it just happens that Fox tried to justify their own continuation of it so I told them not to.
@Fox00One Then stop making poor excuses for the drama being here and just listen to what I'm saying.
.
@TheMegaMauster I never said they were, and if you "look closely down" you will see I also could not care less who started it.
@Fox00One That doesn't change my point. Discord drama does not belong here, I don't care that you have no other place to take it. If someone blocks you, just take it. Don't make a big deal about it.
@Fox00One okay, but the reason for why the drama is being taken here is irrelevant. Discord/off-site drama does not belong on the site. Period. couldn't care less who "started it" or why.
literally all of you, just keep Discord drama off the site. if stuff like this continues to happen I'll start disabling the comments on Discord advertisments
Post removed as it is no longer April Fools' day and as such violates the misleading thumbnail rule. For obvious reasons, you will not receive a strike.
I have allowed posts like this (i.e posts with misleading thumbnails for comedic purposes) to stay up for today. I know it technically violates the rules, but given the nature of April Fool's day I think it's okay for right now.
@ThatKindaWeeb It's not necessarily that they don't care about the game anymore, it's just that it would take away too much time and resources to update when they have other, higher priority things going on.
A) Suggestions generally go on the Uservoice
B) While they likely read the suggestions on the forums and Uservoice, they don't have time to respond to any, nor are they under any obligation to respond
C) SimplePlanes just isn't going to get any more major updates. It's too difficult to update at this point, and their focus currently is SimpleRockets 2.

@JakeS Not entirely sure what you mean. Are you asking if moderators aren't allowed to harass other users off-site? If so then in cases like that we would have a discussion with the moderator in question about it.
@JakeS It only counts for harassment of moderators. If it was for regular users, then someone could just get an out of context message of someone saying "f**k you" to try and get someone they don't like a strike. Originally the rule did apply to everyone, shortly after it was announced in Andrew's post, but some people took note of the fact it applied to everyone and proceeded to weaponise it. There are just too many possible factors we aren't seeing to apply it to normal users.
Don't know if this applies to SP but in SR2 you would do it with rotators and then setting their inputs accordingly. Alternatively you could use pistons if you want to be more fancy with it, but a pitch/yaw thrust vectoring system with pistons would require 8 pistons rather than 2 rotators like a rotator-based system would.
@JoeriV Fair enough. Like I said, though, there's plenty of reason to play SR2 over KSP, and vice-versa. It's up to personal preference at this point. KSP is never getting procedural fuselages or engines or anything of that sort like SR2 has because that kind of isn't the point of it. KSP isn't getting a planet builder, a user-friendly in-game programming system, actually good visuals and optimization (that point in particular can be in KSP 2), and there's one major factor you don't seem to be considering: SR2 is the only game of its kind (that is, a 3D rocketry game) that is available on mobile devices. If nothing else, that is a reason to make it when there's already KSP. You have basically an entire market all to yourself. It's worth noting as well that on PC SR2 is less than half the cost of base KSP. It's $15 US, KSP is $40 US. Mobile version is $5 US. Also, for the record, I don't really like to include KSP 2 in discussions such as this one because it is a AAA game with tons of people working on it daily, whereas KSP and SR2 are not. I prefer to keep comparisons exclusively between those two games. In any case, competition such as KSP and SR2 is good because it makes both games strive to get an edge over the other, resulting in a better product for the consumer.
@JoeriV Why make a first person shooter in the first place when there's already DOOM? Why make a strategic board game when there's already Chess? Hell, why make Microsoft Flight Simulator when there's already plenty of other flight simulators? Do you see the problem with your question here? Multiple games of the same genre can exist, and SimpleRockets 2 takes the rocket sim genre and adds stuff to it that KSP will never have.
@Tookan SimpleRockets 2 is newer and much easier for them to develop. They've said it before: SimplePlanes is getting old and hard to work with, working from home is a challenge, and they have to get SimpleRockets 2 out of early access. Would you rather they stop working on SR2 to update an aging game that's hard to update or would you rather they get it out of early access and potentially make a SimplePlanes 2 at some point?
good to see this community still has a sense of humour. nice job

+1this comment section is why i've nearly lost faith in this community multiple times

Post removed. This is far too off topic for these forums.
I don't know what this is supposed to be or why you decided to upload it but it's been removed as it is a bit inappropriate for this site.

+1Michael Collins, too. If somehow any of you are unaware, Michael Collins was the command module pilot of Apollo 11. May he rest in peace.

If you really want to call us cowardly, maybe consider the fact that creating an alternate account to express your opinions is pretty cowardly itself.

@Fox00One thank you. I'm sorry if I handled this a bit harshly, I am not feeling too well at the moment

@WalrusAircraft where'd you come from??
+1Ignore the last link, I didn't realize it would make you download it. Now, peak efficiency

@AndrewGarrison You may want to look into removing @HellFireKoder. He appears to be using an absurd amount of power.
+17@Stinky I do not care who "can't get enough of this shi*", I want it off the site.
@Stinky @Mostly Please, move stuff like this off-site.
what
@FeatherWing To my understanding, yes. There's a lot of spaghetti code and it's difficult to work with compared to something newer like SR2.

so why am I banned when I don't think I've ever even tried to join the server before just now

@KnightOfRen If it's important then it would be better to email Support. Andrew doesn't go on Discord very often.
+1@russianspy Somewhere around there, yeah.
Yes, but you have to pay a fee of (I think) about $20. This is to prevent abuse.
@Tookan fair enough, but then again it could be assumed from the fact the version number is 0.9.6
+1I'll be honest, J-10 is probably one of my favourite planes
